Fix Waze for apple car play w Audi a4
Fix waze w car play. With latest apple update waze with car play wipes out steering wheel map. Phone only shows directions and can’t report accidents backups police or anything. Waze map only shows up on center screen

Move "OK" and "Not There" options further apart on Apple Car Play
When some sort of hazard is announced while using Apple Car Play, there is the option to choose "OK" (I think) and "Not There". These options are stacked right on top of each other. Please put some space between them. I have many times chosen the wrong one. Sometimes I also find myself looking at the screen trying to land my finger in the right spot instead of watching the road. Please do better testing on Apple Car Play.

Apple CarPlay Update needed
I love that we finally have Apply CarPlay integration! The update does need some additional work in my opinion. The roads/street names/ icons all appear blurry on the CarPlay display. All of the notifications that pop up are clear/crisp. It just looks like the map isn't fully loaded and isnt giving a clear picture like the map on the phone does. Also - the icon (arrow or car) is massive compared to the rest of the map. It doesnt get smaller/bigger when zooming in or out. I think the icon should change size based on the size of the map…

Add Dark Mode Toggle Button on Apple CarPlay Display
On Apple CarPlay, when the vehicle headlights are on, Waze switches to Night Mode. This seems to be independent of the phone settings.
The only way to change this is to use the phone app and change the Map Display/Dark Mode setting to Off. This is not a good solution while operating a vehicle.
This could be fixed by adding a Day/Night (Dark Mode) toggle button on the CarPlay display.

Fix double confirmation error on apple play.
Please fix this annoying bug. Have to double confirm every report while using apple play.

Please fix limited reporting capabilities through apple car play
Through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto the reporting capabilities are reduced drastically. Lost of specifics are taken away from what you can report as well as what you can see on the map, such as car accident being major or minor or on the other side. And some are gone completely. Such as the “closure” reporting option. I drive a lot and am often coming upon closed roads and would like to be able to report it. When I report it as a map error the editors tell me to report it as a closure. But I can’t. Please fix…

Smart Watch Alerts
Would it be possible to add notifications and real time alerts for Apple Watches or other smart watches? We love this feature with Apple Maps, but we much prefer to use Waze. This would be an awesome addition!

Apple Carplay alert notification format
Regarding Apple Carplay, the notifications for cops, hazards, etc is set up that the "Thanks & Not There" are over & under each other. I feel they should be side to side instead. 1st its already risky to take eyes off the road to press on the alert but as the car is in motion and roads flow naturally in an up & down motion, It's pretty easy to confirm the wrong answer. If they were side by side, It completely reduces the clicking of the wrong answer.

IPhone users phones cannot be locked when use with apple car play. If your phone is locked waxes will not work with apple car play.
Waze should work with apple car play with your phone locked. You shouldn’t have to keep your phone unlocked to use apple car play

Traffic bar for Apple CarPlay
Hello,
The only thing missing for me is the ability to see how long a route control (trajectcontrole in dutch) is.

Exit name size Apple car play
In apple car play if the exit name is too long waze removes the ETA and remaining distance to make room for the exit name. Which is nice but sometime the exit may be 10km away and not having the eta for 10km is not great. Maybe keeping the eta but smaller could be an alternative. Or using a smaller font for the exit name.

Please add an ETA feature accessible from Apple Car Play
Apple Maps recently added an ETA feature that is accessible from Apple Car Play, and I'm hoping Waze does the same (so that I don't have to touch my phone to use the ETA feature). For now I will continue to use Apple Maps and Waze at the same time so I can easily tell my wife my ETA w/out having to touch my phone while driving.

CUSTOM ROUTES AND ALERTS IN APPLE CAR PLAY
I would like to record a custom route to an address and waze considers it in the calculation for the route. Often the routes provided are not the best, there are better routes. Customized routes saved by users who knew the best paths would be the most practical. At the end of the path, the user could save the path with some name. WAZE could put the same notifications that you have on your cell phone in the apple car play, such as prohibited via etc.

CarPlay Dashboard
With the iOS 13.4, Apple opened up the CarPlay Dashboard to accept 3rd Party Maps instead of Apple Maps. It would be awesome to have Waze replace Apple Maps on the main Dashboard!
