Categorizing Favorites
With my Garmin, I can quickly look at my favorites list relative to my current location. ADVANTAGE: I'm hungry.....it tells me where my favorite restaurants and coffee shops are and how close. Makes it easy to return there when i'm in the area.
UPGRADE: Ability to share your favorites list with a friend, so that they can choose a place and navigate there as well!

Enhancements: Allow customization of favorites
At present, as you add a new favorite destination to the list, it is listed at the bottom of the list. It would be helpful to be able to create custom tabs within the favorites so that we could provide some organization to our favorites!

Colorize favorite search results
Favorites have a grey star icon in results. For me this is almost unnoticeable and confuses me for a while every time.
Using a different color or background color for favorites in search results would make it much clearer for me and easier to use.

There is possibility to chosse your favorite fuel - but we drive on CNG and there is no way to configure this. Can you please provide this?

There should also be the possibility to choose a route with the CNG filling stations on the way because this is a specific fuel and thus not easy to find... this would be a terrific improvement!21 votesCurrently Waze app supports 4 fuel types. Coming back the old function of add favorite places... with touch in the street or place and add in favorite. The option now is worst because I have many places with unnamed roads and only way to add him in favorite os put his address but that is imposible... for this reason from this changes I back to tomtom. Thank you.

Own tabs in/under the Favorite bar and sharing of them
Own tabs in/under the Favorite bar.
Possibility to create more tabs under the Favorite bar it would be great for easy searching.
Example:
Today under the Favorite bar you can save just places with address.
I would appreciate to have possibility to create my own tabs.
Example of tabs: Family, Diving spots, Sport centers, Shopping centers, Mountains, Camps, Restaurants, ... and then I will save place with address under my own tab.
Keep General/Global Favorit bar where will be Home and Job place on the first position.The searching of my places will be more easy ;-)

Allow user to define Favorite Routes and choose to use them
Allow the user to compare Favorite Routes to a destination (eg. Work) against quicker routes, show time difference and allow user to choose. This could be enhanced further by allowing the user to define a time difference (eg. 5mins) such that the favorite route is presented even if there are faster routes within the defined (5min) window. I am yet to come across a GPS or application that offers this functionality

Google assistant on Favorites
Sometimes when we are at a stoplight and we need to look up one of our saved favorites instead of scrolling for it can we have Google assistant so we could ask google assistant to quickly look up the favorite saved that we are searching for? Then google assistant can ask us if we want this favorite as a new drive or give us other options for that specific favorite saved.

Multi-stop favorites
I would love to be able to save multi-stop routes as favorites. I take my daughter to daycare every morning on my way to work. With the current system "daycare" and "work" are two separate favorites that I have to launch when I begin that leg of the trip. I would like to have both stops saved as one favorite so I don't have to begin a new route for each leg and can keep an eye on overall progress at any time.

Automatic Favorites
If I deviate from my route and stop for any length of time, Waze should prompt me to add as a favorite place when I resume. For example if I stop at grocery store, car wash, gym or any other place on way home I'd like to have I my favorite places to add as stop on future trips. Likewise if I'm on a trip and stop at great place to eat, I might want to stop next time.

Live Alerts Notifications for my favorite/default routes
Currently there is a feature for Travel planning to schedule departure times, but not always used for most common routes or favorites (for example going home), and I think need to be set every time you plan a travel...
The idea is to be able select routes from my favorites or set specific routes (start to finish points) and if some specific type of alert (that we can define, e.g Accidents, or delay time, etc) is posted in Waze on that way, we can receive a real time Waze Notification, Message and/or email with that type of alert…

Allow users to type in names of their favorite retailers, restaurants, gas stations, and more
I would like Waze to notify me of my favorite retailers, gas stations, restaurants and other things along my drive regardless of where I am driving and without me having to search for them and add them as a favorite. If I could have an area in the app where I could type my favorite places in once and then Waze is always searching and notifying me of them as I drive this would be a huge convenience. Example: I choose Chick-fil-A as a restaurant, then whenever I am driving ways notifies me of all Chick-fil-A's within 5 miles…

Create School/Daycare with Home/Work Default Favorites
Every weekday I drive from home to child's school to work. Then reverse. Every weekday morning Waze asks me "Going to Work?" I'm going to school then work, so NO! Every weekday evening Waze asks me "Going Home?" I'm going to school, then home, so NO again! Everyday! Will you please, add another default favorite for school or daycare!!!

Favorites should list locations by how close you are to them.
Hi my name is Emri I really like using waze on the road daily it makes my work really easy BUT the only reason I keep my old GPS around is so I can look into my favorites and see how far I am from where I am to different locations I need to visit so I know where to go 1st.
So I'm saying it would be great to see my favorite list show me that
X is 0.5 miles away
Y is 1.0 miles away
Z is 1.5 miles away

Can add Favorites with GPS position
Add a "Add actual position" or something like this when we want to add a new favorite.
It's better for adding places than address when we are in an unknow long lane in the middle of the countryside...

Place NEW favorites at the top of the list.
I always add new favorites to the list while NOT connected to the car. Then, when I connect, via Android Auto, I attempt to select my NEW favorite. However, it is located at the very bottom of a very long list. Sure would like to see NEW Favorites at the top of the Favorites list
