Inshore boat hazard and police icons
Please add a boat police icon for inshore "water waze." Many times we are detained and searched on the way into the ramps or home and it would be nice to know what areas are being observed and delayed by police and game wardens. I was thinking of a sinking boat for hazards and a blue light boat for law enforcement.

Variable Speed Limit Sign Integration
Here in Northeast Ohio in our construction zones we have "Variable Speed Limit" signs. They are used to reduce the speed limit on a streth of road only when the work zone is active. Example stretches are the Interstate 271/480 stretch in Bedford and again on Interstate 480 in Parma. The 271/480 signs will be in use til 2021 according to the construction plan.
There are several solutions:
1) When entering reported construction zone there could be a pop up presented asking for current speed with known work zone MPH listed (see below)

Route suggestion
Noticed Waze always gives a longer route to destination which is quite silly. I suggest Waze can roll out analysis suggestions on 1)the shortest possible route, 2) the quickest possible route & 3) Waze recommended route instead of the current 3 route suggestions that are very similar.

Use smart-band's vibrator to notify a danger zone
Because I'm a motorcycle pilot, I need to be more focus on the road than any other vehicules.
I just got a Xiaomi Mi Band which is a BLE health tracker.
This BLE smart-band contains a vibrator and has libraries available for iOS and Android to communicate with (eg. vibration control).It would be just AWESOME if my smart-band could vibrate when I enter a danger zone. Like that I would not have to always take a risk by looking down on my phone while driving.

Message alerts settings
In the new version of Waze, when the phone is landscape, when a warning is shown (radar, stopped vehicle ...) it's appear on the top of the screen, avoiding the visualization of what is to come in the path. The suggestion is to allow set where to place these alerts. If the phone is in an horizontal position, would be more useful than alerts go out to the right or left of the screen covering part of the side and not the way to go.

Gas
Would be nice to look for (Cheap) gas or even gas (emergency) and be able to see an area. Not just shown ONLY what is within 100 - 500 feet

Pedestrian, Hitchhiker, Bicyclist hazards
What I would really like to see on the hazard page is a couple of different choices for people.
I realize you can't have an icon for everything, but I do think a couple of choices for people would be an excellent addition. My recommendation would be three different people icons:

Show if a result search is Waze place or Google Maps place
Show if a result search is Waze place or Google Maps place. Sometimes we search a place and shows first the google maps result and in the end of the list the Waze place result. Maybe a G and the Waze symbol instead the pin on results list would be better to know what is what.

Add new saved place
Adding new saved place works horribly. This feature should be available on long tap, as context menu. Now one has to search place by name, but guess what, not all places are available by name.Google maps implements this feature very nicely. Saved places should by displayable on the map. As a general idea, the UI looks very crippled compare to Google maps.

Search for food on my way
I want to see food that's ONLY in front of me an on my route. I don't care what's behind me. I want to search for Taco Bell and just see those ahead of me and close to my route. I'd also like to see all food ahead of me and close to my route. I NEVER care to turn around. That's against mans nature.

Inventory of collected roadgoodies
Hi,
As a new user, I was quite happily surprised to be able to collect (StarWars-)goodies.
Hell, I even went running to get a Stormtrooper and an R2 in my neighbourhood.
But, sadly, I wasn't able to find some kind of inventory in Waze to check out what else I might have collected the past few days.It might not be the most important part of Waze, but it makes it fun to use.

English (uk) voice has changed for the worst
Hi- I am a big fan of WAZE. I use it everyday and convert everyone over to it, as well. There is an issue in having with the updated "voices".
The new ENGLISH (UK) does not say the street names as it used to do. This is a problem because now I have to continually take my eyes off road and read the street names on phone. Tonight I MISSED MY MERGE because I was looking down at phone and couldn't merge to the left in time.

Calculating Meeting points
It would be great that if Waze can help the customers to advise a meeting place for people who are trying to carpool.
Basically, its taking 3 routes, if there are two participants are trying to get from their places to the same destination. .
1. Person 1's route from place A to place B.
2. Person 2's route from place C to place B.Then, Waze can calculate the most close meeting points fro Person 1 and Person 2 to meet and get to place B.

improve voice recognition
I assumed that Waze was using similar voice recognition engine to Google. But I have the worst time getting Waze to recognize my voice. It's not me nor my phone. I can say to Waze "Ok Waze report police ahead" and nine times out of ten it'll say "sorry I didn't recognize that". If I hit the home button (to bring up home screen and have Google Assistant take over) I can say Ok Google take a note report police ahead" and it'll correctly create a note "report police ahead"

Add "avoid side streets" option
In certain neighborhoods, side street routes are unsafe and not necessarily faster than sticking with the main drag: nothing like having to wait with 3 of my fellow Wazers while an onstreet drug deal concludes in front of us (side street alternative route directed by Waze in NE DC). Or maybe just add "Drug deal in progress" to the notifications?

Falta um buffer para os alertas.

Estava na auto estrada de madrugada, com pouco movimento, quando avistei um acidente antes de uma curva na via contrária.
Os carros do sentido oposto estão em risco iminente.
Pode ser você com sua família.
Rapidamente toco o alerta no waze.
Ele me responde. Sem conexão!
Passa um Quilômetro, nem isso, a conexão está restabelecida. Toco no alerta e ele vai posicionar na minha pista, sem aviso sonoro para os que estão indo em direção ao desatre.
E o pior. No lugar errado!
Sugestão:
Voltar a opção de alertar em pista contrária.
