CarPlay volumn
Hello
I am so grateful that Waze now works with CarPlay on my new Mercedes E300. I noticed that Waze will reduce the volume of other apps on my iPhone, so that I can continue to hear the other app in the background as Waze provides navigation.
However, Waze appears to connect to CarPlay via the car's navigation volume control while other CarPlay apps connect to CarPlay via the car's entertainment volume control. Consequently, CarPlay stops other audio while Waze makes navigation announcements.
Nice would be a optional setting in Waze for how the app connects to CarPlay, via navigation…6 votes -
Allow user to adjust the speed of audio/TTS annoucements (0.5x, 0.8x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x)
Spotify and YouTube allow users to control the speed of audios or videos.
You can play audios or videos at speeds of 0.5x, 0.8x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x and 3x.
I suggest the same should apply to Waze.
Audio or TTS announcements could be faster or slower depending on the user's preferences.

waze forces me to switch out of spotify at start up
Everytime I opened the spotify app at fresh launch, the waze automatically switches me into the waze app to start driving and its getting a little tedious to close waze so I can listen to music without waze interfering [I am using the galaxy z fold 4)

Love WAZE! But Samsung Level U earphones not connecting.
I have syncd Bluetooth & made sure app plays thru to phone speaker. Phone calls, Google maps, Music all work thru earphones but not Waze. I really prefer Waze over Google Maps since I am UBER/LYFT driver and don't want passengers to hear directions. Please HELP!

Button customization on Waze with Android Auto & Carplay
• My suggestion is for the following feature: Adaptive Button Placement/Customizable Controls
• My suggestion solves this problem:
• Convenience during Driving: Allowing users to position buttons based on the side of the road they are driving on could make the interface more convenient and accessible, reducing the need for awkward movements while driving.

Talk to Waze interferes with BT
I really like the voice command but it interferes with my BT on my 2016 VW and latest IOS. After I use the voice activation - music quality degrades. I have to turn off the BT and reconnect again. I had to turn it off. Please provide a fix. Thank you.

can you add a white car to vehicle pictogram
can you add a white car to vehicle pictogram and also when we in
trajectory control driving by using android auto app the line how long we stil driving in trajectory control. we see this line when i just navigate by phone and my phone nor turning horizontal. this would be great. i love this app.10 votes -
How to install waze on my car
I have a 2013 Astra Opel OPC and I can only use my car sound system for calls and I use a separate plug in my cigarette lighter to listen to my music from my phone through the car sound system. Do I need to update my car sound system for easier use?

speed control
Instead of just a small circle of red around the speed when the driver is exceeding the limit, the entire screen could flash red . This would make it more obvious to the driver that they are speeding. Not all navigation screens are high set.

Hydroplane hazard
You could use a new hazard tab for high water for like at the bottom of an Overpass where water collects and presents a hydroplane or lose control hazard...thx.

Report Blocked Lane by Voice
It would be an amazing addition to be able to say "Hey Google, Report Left/Center/Right Lane Blocked" rather than needing to use the on-screen controls as it poses a safety hazard.
I feel as if that would entice users to use the feature more; it's a very beneficial tool to have, allowing you to prepare for the lane chance before it's too late.
That may also help with traffic congestion when everyone is trying to merge into a single lane on interstates.2 votes -
Remote control
As Spotify giving you the option to play a song on a phone from a different phone I want Waze to do that as well.
Example: I have an iPhone 8 sitting in my armrest on the snap-in and connected to carplay. On a second iPhone I am connected with the same account and I want to write the address on my second phone to not get the iphone out of the snap-in and so on. Don’t have a touchscreen headunit.
Also, when will Waze gives you the lane assist in BMW cluster while connected to carplay?1 vote -
waze voice reporting issue
After the last two updates, when I have my phone plugged in, the "speak the error function doesn't work as well on Android Auto. The music doesn't pause and it'll take a minute to process. It only really started functioning this way after the "big arrow issue" got fixed on Android Auto.

The older Waze interface was better.
The older Waze interface was better in the sense that I could see the stop button and access icons easier.. The new one has smaller type, not friendly for those that are far sighted... Especially when driving, the larger icons are better. But the stop navigation button should be right on the screen not hidden... The MOST annoying thing is that it hijacks me by automatically navigating me home by default. Even worse since it's connected to my stereo via blue tooth so my music is interrupted, and without an easy access stop button it's a pain in the butt…

Price information
When you use Waze on android auto ( last version) . The toll price take the place of the statut information. This appear not in full screen but in separate screen like Waze / music / notifications.
It is possible to have the ability to switch of the option or change the place to keep the standard information readable.

Tout d'abord, c'est dommage qu'on est pas un indicateur qui donne la qualité de retour sur la route empruntée. En effet, on ne sait pas s'il y a 1 ou 100 personnes devant nous. Un petit indicateur indiquant le nombre de personnes sur la même route que nous serait pratique.Ensuite, les péages sont pris en compte lors du trajet. Il serait intéressant de les noter sur la map, mais aussi mettre leurs prix. Soit il y a une base de données ouvertes, soit ,comme pour les prix des pompes à essences, on utilise les utilisateurs. Mute everything but the important things like cops, speed traps, accidents, gridloc by k. So I don’t have to mute everything
Sound notification filtering please for god sakes! I hate the beeps interrupting my music every 2 seconds and needlessly distracting me! Yes I have it on alerts only I have no clue why it beeps and than shows nothing happening! So annoying! It’s dangerous! I have to mute everything and constantly look at my phone for speed traps!

Ability to Submit Report from Notification Shade
When Waze is in the background, the only option in the Notification Shade is to "Switch Off". It would be nice to also have a button that would bring you straight to the Report options (i.e, Police, Road Hazard, etc...). This would make it easier to contribute while using other prevalent driving apps like a music player.
