Option to disable construction alerts; they are distracting
Several people have posted this. It is not being responded to. PLEASE listen to us! When driving, a construction alert pops up. There is NO option in settings to turn off construction alerts (only to hide from map). The alert is persistent until I pass the zone, which means ETA is not visible. The alert cannot be cleared until I pass the zone. It's a horrible experience, and the only way to clear it is to say "Not there" which is not true. Please listen to the users begging for this. A short instructional video on how to alert an accident, police, etc
I would like to suggest the following: that a training video appear on behalf of the company on how to warn about an accident or the police, today that many people do not even know about the possibility of alerting, and only use the application to see alerts that others have written. Especially in the country of Panama where I live. So my idea is that once in a while a short instructional video will appear that will explain how to alert and register an accident or anything else with the police. Thank you

"Watch out, multiple alerts ahead"
If there was a vehicle stopped on road and a cop in the vicinity, Waze will only alert me of the cop. There should be multiple alerts that could be given to me at once.

Night before alert with time to leave gone?
Night before alert with time to leave in the morning gone? Used to work for all planned drives but stopped around the same time as the new horrible menus appeared…

Be able to dismiss the traffic alert when traffic is gone
It happens often to drive through roads where traffic alerts have been reported but gone at the time of driving there. It would be useful to be able to dismiss the traffic reports

Alerts Stuck
When starting a new trip, the first alert that appears (speed camera, traffic light camera, railway crossing, etc.) remains fixed on the screen, and after going through this alert, the alert is not deleted, it does not refresh, it does not report a new alert. The first alert that appears stays permanently... it only goes away when starting a new trip... where the first new alert that appears is stuck again.

Can you alert people about Speed cameras sooner
Today’s mobile speed cameras can catch you one mile away, your alerts seem to be that or less and it just doesn’t give us enough warning.

Add a feature so that people will be aware of turtles crossing the road ahead and can avoid hitting them.

Make the nav text (under the distance) white instead of light blue to improve contrast
The current navigation text is light blue on black (which becomes dark gray under most lighting conditions) lacks contrast and becomes unreadable in many situations. Also would be good to allow for user-selectable text size to take advantage of larger displays (6 and 6 plus).

Have option to shut off vehicle stopped on shoulder.
Vehicle stopped on shoulder alert comes up constantly. If you're on a highway, you shouldn't be driving on the shoulder or breakdown lane!!!
Have an option to shut off this alert...
Or people, stop reporting it!!!!

Ability to increase font size.
Those of us who see distance fine but need reading glasses could use the abolity to increase street name and POI size. It's one if the reasons why I don't use Waze as often as I'd like to.

Reduce speed ahead alert
Would be nice to have pop-up similar to railway crossings showing reduce speed ahead. Example would be driving on 70 km per hr route that changes to 50 km per hr.

En route alert volume too loud on Android
The current alert sound and volume makes everyone jump, every time. Why have you made it so piercingly and frighteningly loud?
It wasn't so terrifying before, and worked well, so there was no need to change it.
Seems to be only on Android devices that this happens, and cannot be adjusted within Waze or in the device settings.

Ad option under navigation for "fastest route".
It seems shortest distance (in miles) is the option Waze gives. In one case, Waze tries to take me over and around the mountain which is actually longer due to very sharp curves.

Police alerts should be added to voice alerts (in alert only mode)- this cost me a driving ticket!
In “alerts only” sound mode I do not get police notification, only Speedtrap (stationary traps) so dynamic user-generated police notifications are not notified- this cost me a speeding ticket -+ driving school last week!

Add Alert for Roadside Assistance Vehicles (Australia)
I’d like to suggest adding a specific alert or hazard option for stationary roadside assistance vehicles in Australia (e.g. RAA, tow trucks). A new rule in South Australia—and soon other states—requires drivers to slow down to 25 km/h when passing these vehicles displaying flashing amber lights.
Including a reportable category or automatic alert would help increase compliance, improve safety for roadside workers, and align with local road laws.

Notice to change the speed limit
Optional setting to alert to speed limit.
I am driving with current speed A km/h,
for X meters I will arrive in the city(or location), where the speed limit is B km/h,I would like a notice what distance is to the new speed limit.
or when I should take off leg from speed pedal and come to a new limit speed.
May be, set some intensity of breaking ?

Turn by turn (next turn) panel too big
Is there a way to make turn by turn (next turn) smaller in landscape mode. Takes up to much of display. Possibly be able to hide it until you are within a certain distance from the turn. (This is on a Note 3)

Detour capability
I would like for the ability to determine a detour to the current route. For example, if the highway you are on is blocked, slow or closed due to an accident, you can push a detour option/button and select the distance of the detour (1/2 mile, 1 mile, 2 miles, 5 miles, 10 miles...) or maybe the system can suggest the detour length based on what it knows of the traffic conditions ahead. Once your determined detour distance is exhausted, you are routed back to your original route. Many GPS Nav systems today have this capability/feature and is very useful.…
