  1. Save location maps by custom folders & sub-folders

    I think I have hit the limit in saving space for Waze location maps. I like to introduce custom folders for saving locations by country > state > district > areas.

  2. Notifications when screen off, like Google Maps

    Google Maps has a very practical feature for travelers who frequently use the same route over and over: Turn your phone screen off, and you'll be notified whenever turns are coming up. If you know the route, maybe it's a long one and you just want to be reminded not to miss turns, it's really useful to have these notifications.

    In Google Maps, this notification feature extends really well onto Pebble watches, so your wrist gets a gentle vibration for each upcoming turn while the phone screen is off.

    Could Waze please raise turn notifications when the screen is…

  3. Display emoticons on live/app maps

    Not all links send by google maps are supported by waze ,so that i can open it by default on waze not on google maps

  7. Historical maps

    I would like to suggest adding a feature that allows users to view the history of satellite maps, similar to Google Earth. This would make it possible to see not only the default maps but also the most recent ones. The main goal is to update Waze maps more accurately, by checking the latest road layouts, especially newly built roads.

    This feature would help:

    Improve map accuracy.

    Ensure new roads are reflected as soon as possible.

  8. Please add path options like google maps

    Please, change the indications on detour like google maps when exists multiples rails (google maps indicate all the rails but waze only indicate detour with one single arrow)

    On Live Maps show the locations of reported pot holes. This way any local town can reference what is reported and fix the holes quickly.

  10. Display speeds higher than 234km/h.

    GPS devices are allowed in passenger aircraft, and work fine with offline maps.

    It seems, though, that the speed indication doesn't go above 234km/h.

    Airplanes easily exceed this.

    Yes I know the primary use is for driving, but sometimes it is nice to use other ways.

  12. Add traffic like icons to your maps like Google Maps.

    Google Maps has traffic light icons on their maps which is very useful when deciding what intersection to use, especially when making a left hand turn in heavy traffic areas. I don't understand why this feature is not offered since Waze is under the Google umbrella.

  15. Google Maps to Waze routing

    With a recent update we can now look up items over in Google Maps and share it to Waze. A feature I am requesting is when we look at the routes that Google Maps gives us, if we hit share from one of the selected routes, we be able to bring that to Waze direct.

    I know that Maps and Waze routes differently. Having that Maps over is nice but I'd like to pick a route there and navigate with Waze.

    Waze works offline when i use wireless android auto and loading the maps completely. Another navigation app work perfectly.

  19. Add feature to map that is like Google Maps

    I would give this app 5 stars if the Waze app developers could put the name of the road you're traveling on behind the arrow in a bubble like Google Maps. Google Maps has this not only while navigating but while just traveling using the Map on Android Auto without navigating as well. I mentioned this before. Not sure why Waze hasn't implemented this yet. I would use this App more. Other people probably feel the same way.
