Waze car icon bug in android auto
I only use waze for android auto and have the car icon setup as a convertible. After every Waze update, it resets this to the triangle, until I launch the Waze app manually on my phone

Waze on android auto route issue
The recent update on waze for Android auto no longer lets me choose which location after I voice command a destination. If I say, "take me to AutoZone" and I'm 5 miles from one it often just starts my route to one in a completely different city. I've even had it route me to a different state! Before it would give me a list of places that matched that name and I got to pick. Also, my route history now shows up on boot on Android auto. I drive for work a lot and it is not my passengers' business…

Barra laterale avvisi android auto
Salve.
È possibile implementare una barra laterale (lato dx) su android auto (magari disabilitabile per chi non la voglia) che mostra gli avvisi lungo il percorso live tramite le loro icone una sopra all'altra con il più vicino avviso posizionato più in alto? Magari raggruppando gli avvisi nel raggio dei successivi 20 km dal punto in cui ci si trova altrimenti non consentirebbe di contenerli tutti se fossero tanti. Una barra che si aggiorna lungo l'itinerario e che ad esempio contenga macchina ferma bordo strada, allagamento, autovelox mobile, fisso ecc...

Android Auto Dashboard navigation information/Steering wheel control
Make Navigation information available in the Dashboard of the Car.
If I use google maps I have navigation information like "turn left in 400m" in the dashboard (next to the speedometer) and can use the main screen e.g. for music control or other apps.
Would be nice if Waze would also support the additional dashboard options.Also in google maps its possible to select the last locations in the dashboard with buttons on the steering wheel, but not in waze pleas add this also.

4.70.1.0 for Android - disable automatic "recent locations" tab
Why would you even bother adding such a thing? I don't need it. I know where to go for recent locations. I don't want to see it pop up every time I start waze.
Keep up these "improvements" and I'll be switching apps. Stop dumbing down the UI. Quit piling more and more crap on the main screen. There is no point. I want a map. I want traffic (audible) alerts. When using a destination, I want audible turn-by-turn directions. THAT'S ALL.
And TURN OFF THAT DAMNED CHIRP. Or, give me a toggle where I can turn it off. I'm…

Alerte Radar android auto en mode horizontal

Quand est prévue la maj sur Waze pour la prise en compte des zones de dangers (radar) en versions en horizontal sur les smartphones et véhicules. J'explique. Lorsque mon smartphone est vertical, j'ai bien la barre verte mais quand il est en horizontal, ce n'est pas le cas. Beaucoup d'utilisateurs de sont plaints de ça , quand est-ce que les développeurs vont prendre en compte ces revendications ?

Shortcut to switch car types in iOS
It would ve nice to have an shortcut on apple to change car type quickly. As someone who drives a taxi and private cars and switch a lot. Maybe integrate it to apple shortcuts app or make it bluetooth connection dependable so it switches automatically when connected to a designated bluetooth source

Please work with Ford and Sync so that Waze will work with an Android phone. Apple is not the only OS
Please allow for Android operation with Ford Sync the same way is works with IOS. I am not an apple fan but would like to have the same options as there are with iOS.

Enable Speech-to-Text for Map Update Requests While Driving (via Android Auto and CarPlay)
I would like to suggest an improvement to Waze that would allow users to fill out map update requests (URs) using speech-to-text while driving, particularly when connected through Android Auto or CarPlay.
Currently, when users select a map update option (such as "Incorrect address," "Missing road," or "Speed limit") while driving, there is no way to add a description of the issue. This limits the ability to provide detailed reports and often results in incomplete information being submitted. With speech-to-text functionality, users could quickly and safely dictate descriptions of the problem without having to stop or manually type anything.

Allow default sharing of route to android share rather than internal sharing mechanism
Currently sharing is done to an alphabetical user list from my contacts. This is of course kind of silly since most of us use waze for navigation but not as a means of communication. I would like to see the old sharing back as default (share via other app), or even better - remember which app i used last to share and offer it as default. In the past 4 years I have shared my ride not via whatsapp only once, and that was into facebook chat.

Audi A4 2017 Android Auto is not touch screen. Click defaults needs to be improved for scrolling. Needs a review of multitouch via MMI and click defaults. Many of the screens nothing is initally selected and I have to scroll muliple times before something is highlighted. Also would like to use the MMI in the drivers vision

Swipe up on android interferes with navigation
Android and waze both have swipe up functions. As soon as you touch the bottom of the waze app information on a drive fills the screen. Even if all you wanted to do was switch apps. Therefore navigation pauses until resumed. I'm sure the app was never this sensitive in the past. It's not very intuitive.

Info widgets on Android Auto
Recently, you have changed the location of the Info widgets on Android Auto (turns, ETA) from the left side to the right side of the screen. This change causes the readability of this info to be worse, since the text and the symbols become far from the driver. If there is a justification for this change, I suggest enabling the user to configure these widgets' location; otherwise, I recommend returning them to the left side of the screen.

Search while connected to android auto
You have got to make it possible to voice search while driving. I use waze with my business and when I get a call I often have to change my destination or add a stop. I can't do that with waze without stopping. I legit added a manual power disconnect for my radio so I can turn my radio OFF which automatically disconnects android auto. Then I search in my phone, then I turn the radio back ON to get the new destination or stop in the waze app... Now how stupid and distracting is that? How is that safer?…
