  3. Knight Rider K.I.T.T 's voice Mr. William Daniels

    Please guys and girls end everyone else we really need K.I.T.T's voice from the show named Knight Rider from the 80s. It's a talking black Trans Am and you would be the only ones to have it even if I had to pay for the voice like I did for my old Garmin which I don't use any more. So please I really know you all can do it.

  4. Voice activated Reports and AI

    I am surprised that after so many years Waze is lacking on basics.
    1. Please get up to speed with AI and voice activation to enable drivers to makes reports using their voice - AI can then automatically classify the report in the right category.

    Come on folks. This is basic stuff and very important for the safety of drivers. It doesn’t need to have votes for features that are COMMON SENSE!

  12. Hyacinth Bucket voice

    The actress Dame Patricia Routledge passed away yesterday and was well known as the character Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced Bouquet!) and she was well known for telling her husband Richard how to drive, along with admonishments like “mind the pedestrian, Richard!” - she’d be an amazing English (UK) voice!

  13. Voice Search shouldn't require so many taps to work.

    The best driving apps are ones that you don't have to touch very often since that takes concentration away from the road. Waze lets you search via tapping the Microphone button but then still requires multiple taps to complete the request.

    Current steps:
    1) TAP magnifying glass
    2) TAP microphone
    3) Say name of place to go
    4) Look at the screen to see the list of possible suggestions
    5a) TAP the location you want if shown, or
    5b) TAP the Search button for more results and then TAP the location you want
    6) TAP the Go button
    7) TAP…

    I used the kids voice for navigation instructions. From one moment to the other, those voices disappeared! Please bring them back!!

    Some of the voices we feature are promotional, meaning they are only available for a limited time.
    We offer special voices for holidays, events, and just for fun.
    You can use these for the length of the promotion. When the promotion ends, your voice will reset to the default and the voice will no longer appear in the Sound menu.

    We hope that you enjoyed the voice while it was available and can’t wait to share more exciting voices to come!

    Want to try another voice?

    Tap Menu and tap the Settings wheel.
    Tap Voice & sound.
    Tap Voice Language and select the voice you’d like to use.

  16. Voice option

    I would like to offer you an efficiency suggestion:
    By requesting a driver response to your message about a vehicle stuck on the side of the road, you are causing a driving hazard by requiring the driver to look away and take his hand off the steering wheel to press the appropriate tab. This is extremely dangerous when driving at high speed.
    Instead, I suggest that you enable the feedback to be given to the voice option:
    Still there - say 1
    Not there - say 2

  19. Bob Sheppard Voice (Yankees PA Announcer)

    Bob Sheppard was the public address announcer for the New York Yankees from 1951 through 2007. His diction and cadence were perfect. Known as The Voice of God, he made routine stadium announcements sound as if they were coming from the skies above. There’s tons of material available to construct a Waze voice. I’m not even a Yankees fan and I’d get it.
