Prioritize Full CarPlay Integration: HUD & Instrument Cluster Directions
Hello Waze Team,
This post is to strongly urge the prioritization of full integration with Apple CarPlay to enable turn-by-turn navigation on built-in Head-Up Displays (HUD) and digital instrument clusters.
This remains one of the most critical safety and convenience features missing from Waze, and it's a primary reason why many drivers reluctantly switch to Apple Maps when using CarPlay.

Add group option for friends traveling together
When you travel with friends, every time you follow one of them and this include to enter the destination for each vehicle (one waze per vehicle) just in case of one of them is lost in traffic.
The idea is to have a group option to invite your friends who travel with you to your waze group, one of them enter a destination and waze share automatically to the other group participant.
Maybe a chat can be available in the group to share about next destination or indicate an empty tank and a necessary refueling or something else.

Landscapes near you and you did not know about their existence
On an excursion in Europe between Germany and Austria and Switzerland, we reached our destination, like any destination. But it is also important to enjoy the road and breathtaking scenery. Sometimes it's worth stopping for a moment .. (That's how the idea came about)
Sharing landscape photos (located on / near the route I'm going through) of users will help those who do not know the area, reach the landscape that is on my route. Stop for a moment and watch from the vehicle and then continue on a trip

Please add Android Auto support
Please add the ability for Waze's data and info to work/display on vehicle's infotainment while running Android Auto

Move the notification box on Android auto to the left or to the top
The notification box is terribly annoying when you don't set a destination; it covers the center of the map making your vehicle icon and the map useless. Move it to the left corner or to the top banner.

Car category specific routes
It would be very nice if you can define/select the vehicle type/category before you start driving or even better when you create a new account to specify the vehicle type and based on this to have different routes to the destination, because if you are a TIR driver sometimes Waze provides a route that is destination only to normal cars.

Being able to input your own route
We drive abnormal loads that are governed by police routes, we have to avoid certain roads/bridges due to the weight of our vehicle ,is it possible to be able to input the route as specified by the police ?

Why is waze demanding my date of birth?
Waze displayed a screen demanding my date of birth while I was driving and using it for navigation. This screen cannot be closed and reappears when Waze is restarted. I consider this both an unwarranted invasion of privacy and more importantly HIGHLY IRRESPONSIBLE of your programmers to make this occur while the app is in use in a moving vehicle. I have used Waze for many years and recommended it to many friends and colleagues. I am now however being forced to stop using Waze unless I comply with this unwarranted data demand.

Railway Crossing sign too big
The railway crossing signal appears very large on the map.

roundabout auto-creation
Roundabouts are built everyday nowadays and no aerial map can be up-to-date enough to reflect all of them. I propose that whenever 1 or several drivers describe a (full or not) circle with his vehicle, a roundabout gets automatically created. The number of drivers needed and the percentage of the circle which has to be described are up to you guys... =)

Stop cops from reporting “no longer there”
If a vehicle hasn’t moved for a set time (ie a cop doing a speed trap) don’t let them report “no longer there” or remove the icon. If other wazers are moving on the road, but the one cancelling reports is not, suspend the account. Especially if they are cancelling multiple reports from different wazers in the same area.

Big Map
I would like an option to have nothing but the map, my vehicle, traffic, speed (with posted limit), and compass.

Remove "Missing Overpass" map error report category.
That vast majority (all but maybe 1 or 2, in all the time I have been editing) of reports for "Missing Overpass" have been for overpasses that exist on the map, but are invisible at highway speeds on the app. Because some users do not understand how speed-based zoom works, that assume these overpasses are missing, and report every one they drive under until someone responds to a UR explaining why they don't see them. This is causing a large amount of unnecessary UR's and subsequent follow-up. In the US anyway, it would seem we could do completely without this…

the list of existing locations..
Sort the list of existing locations before presenting them when user is searching. Better yet, list by likliehood if vehicle in motion

Waze map on cluster screen (behind steering wheel) on Android Automotive cars
Electric vehicles powered by Android Automotive from brands like Renault, Volvo or Polestar have the Waze app ready.
However, the application only works in the main infotainment screen and does not replicate the maps in the cluster screen like Google Maps does.
This is a big miss in order to use Waze instead of Google Maps, since it is very practical to see the map behind the steering wheel.
We hope in a near future you can have access to cluster screen and replicate the Waze maps there.

Avoid paid routes
In one of previous versions of waze was option "avoid paid routes" which was replaced by an "avoid highway". We would Like to opportunity for return "avoid paid routes" option. Because, for example here in Slovakia, we have so-called "bypasses" - highways around large cities, which are part of highways but are not tolled.

Favorite Hazards
I think there should be a "favorites" or "frequently used" option when it comes to notifying others of a hazard. Users could store their own. I know my most frequently used one is "Hazard. On shoulder. Vehicle stopped." You have to click through so many things... but if there was a favorite option stored, you could do it in one click.

create a app settings profile for multi user environment (90 devices that needs same setting)
To start using navigation in a large emergency (firetrucs) environment we would like to keep things easy. We are thinking about central management of a waze orginasation installation and setup centrally the waze settings instead of local on the device. In a future release we then perhaps can license it and remove adds or use it to centrall set type of default navigation, layout etc.

recycling Feature
Dear Waze, I am a sixth grader at Spring Creek Elementary in Dallas, Texas. My robotics team and I are working on our project for the First Lego League City Shaper season. The goal of the project this season is to somehow improve our city. We are acknowledging that the world is having a hard time recycling. Would you help our cause and consider adding a special feature on Waze or Google Maps that shows where recycling bins owned by stores and other buildings that have signed up to have their recycling bin available to the public.
