Remove "Missing Overpass" map error report category.
That vast majority (all but maybe 1 or 2, in all the time I have been editing) of reports for "Missing Overpass" have been for overpasses that exist on the map, but are invisible at highway speeds on the app. Because some users do not understand how speed-based zoom works, that assume these overpasses are missing, and report every one they drive under until someone responds to a UR explaining why they don't see them. This is causing a large amount of unnecessary UR's and subsequent follow-up. In the US anyway, it would seem we could do completely without this…

recycling Feature
Dear Waze, I am a sixth grader at Spring Creek Elementary in Dallas, Texas. My robotics team and I are working on our project for the First Lego League City Shaper season. The goal of the project this season is to somehow improve our city. We are acknowledging that the world is having a hard time recycling. Add the ability to use emoji in the app and Waze Map Editor
The ability to type emoji into chat and reports in the app would be a nice addition. Adding this ability to Waze Map Editor would also be nice as it would allow typing emoji into Update Request comments and the chat window.

Serious mapping issue on NY Rt 17 problem
Waze appears to only recognize NY Route 17 and part of CT Route 84 westbound. On the afternoon of August 3rd and on a prior trip 6 weeks ago, I drove to Ithaca NY from Orange, CT - a 4 hour drive. Finer control of what hazards display on the map.
This request seeks to add a finer control of which type of things appear on the map. I don't need to see construction crews, or weather hazards, or missing signs. I only need to see road debris, stopped vehicles, roadside assistance requests, and police. But currently, the options don't give you the choice of specific things you would like to see.
What I'm proposing is to break out the current "Hazards" category under Display & Map / Details on Map into each of the hazard categories available, so that users can select or deselect the hazards they care about seeing…

Time Based Restrictions, can we make this happen guys?
"No left turn between 7am and 10 am."

Cadillac
I purchased a 2025 Cadillac and I can download the Waze app in the Google play store which is built in. But it is a terrible experience. The map colors keep flickering from the default colors to a brown/yellow tone, the voice guidance is loud and cannot be lowered- if you try to lower the voice it just goes back to the default which is very loud at the next prompt, the driver dash screen has the option to view the map but Waze is the only one which does not display on the dash, Google maps and Apple Maps…

Add more than one stop
Being unable to add only one stop makes Waze secondary to Maps and renders it obsolete. The way it is designed makes it a fun app, not an applicable tool. I will be removing Waze from my Honda’s CarPlay and try to figure out how to use Maps. I find it essential to have ALL stops included in my trips; I don’t have the time during a “trip” to get out my phone to keep renavigating.

2-way road option when munching & mapping new roads
Most roads that I've ever driven on are 2-way roads, yet waze assumes that any new road recorded or cookie munched is on a 1-way road. I'd like a client option to default them to 2-way, since I know that there are areas where 1-way roads prevail. If I happen to munch a 1-way road while in 2-way mode, I can easily correct it in cartouche later, but I'd much rather correct 3-5% of the roads (or less) than 95-97%.

Doesn’t direct you to the house number, only to start of street
Had the same problem again today drove to an address which the same street was on both sides of a cross road, Waze told me to turn left when I should have turned right as it was a high house number, pain in the backside as it has happened on multiple occassions, I am going back to google maps until this is introduced it really is such a simple thing but so important

Make the Map Team replies detect the prefer language of the user to send the first message in the user language
Hi, i have noticed that the " Map Team " messages are all in English as default. it would be good if the Map Team can detect the prefer language of the user, and send the message in their prefer language. Specially for example in Miami and Puerto Rico, there is a lot of people that only speak Spanish, so when they get the message in English they wont reply to that message until i send the response in Spanish. so if we can get the Map Team reply message in the user prefer language the possibility of getting a…

the intersate road conditons are shown in purple, if they're are not any issues why cant green be used and use red for on coming slow downs are road issues like heavy traffic

We need more car
We need more car or truck on waze maps, we just have the plain car icons around 7 but all the other cars desaspar from my App and don't know the reason if someone nose can you tell me what to do..thanks

I would really like to see Waze available in CarPlay Split Screen
Now that this functionality has been made available it would be really good to be able to use Waze in Split Screen so that I can see Music and Waze rather than Music and Apple Maps and therefore have to revert back to Full Screen for Waze.

An option to show EV charging stations on map
Waze offers an option to indicate EV charging stations in a given area but, in order to access it you need to move out from your map.
It would be great to have the option to show EV charging stations around you while you are driving rather than having to move to a separate page.

Request for Satellite Map View in Waze
Hello Waze Support Team,
I’m writing to request that Waze add an option to view the map in satellite mode. The app currently only shows the default map style, and having a satellite view would be very helpful for navigation and for recognizing locations more accurately.
Many navigation apps offer both standard and satellite map modes, and I believe this feature would greatly improve the user experience in Waze.

improve interface with Apple Carplay
When I plug my phone into the Carplay connector, I can use Waze with my car speakers, but it overrides the radio and doesn't switch back to the radio when Waze is done speaking. So every time Waze talks to me, I have to take my hand off the wheel to switch back to the radio. No wonder people use Apple maps!
