Exit Waze when disconnecting from Apple CarPlay
I love Waze for longer journeys, using it with Apple CarPlay. But I don't need it for popping to the shops - i.e. most daily journeys.
However the App starts up on my phone every time I get in the car regardless, and then continues running even after I get out. It really drains my phone battery. I have to remember to close it manually. I can't find a way to stop this behaviour - it is a real pain.
I'm sure it wasn't always like this, but this means I have had to disable Waze on my CarPlay setup.

Stop letting people mark reports as "not there" and then duplicate them for themselves. People need to stop being so point hungry
People.... Especially late at night will mark your report as "not there" then duplicate it. I drive wake everyday every time I drive. I report honestly. I honestly don't really care about points. And I get a lot of thumbs up. And thanks in my inbox everyday. But it's really annoying when people with their stupid crowns following you... And within the 60 min frame. Mark your report as not there. Then duplicate it so they can get points for themselves.
I don't understand it. At all.

When a second destination is entered, have the option to keep the first destination as a stop
When a second destination is entered, have the option to keep the first destination as a stop. Currently if we set the second destination as new final destination the first destination is removed.

Can you make it so that the navigating voice has a rude/profane setting?
I think it would be quite funny if the Waze navigator had more personality. If I miss a turn, let it scold me. I want it to cuss at me and make fun of my driving. I would never stop laughing. PLEASE make this happen.

Option for simple sounds instead of vocal phrases for hazards, police, construction, traffic, etc...
It's great to have so many voice options, but even the best ones can get annoying on long trips. A simple tone for "Vehicle Stopped on Shoulder Ahead" would be nice, as would a quick WOOP-WOOP to indicate "Police Reported Ahead".

Add Hazard for Vehicles Stopped in the Lane
I have a feature suggestion that could improve road safety and the accuracy of hazard reporting. Currently, Waze allows users to report vehicles stopped on the shoulder, but there is no option to report vehicles stopped directly in the driving lane.
Such situations pose a significant danger to other drivers, especially at night or in poor visibility conditions. Adding a hazard category specifically for "Vehicle stopped in lane" would help alert drivers more effectively and enhance safety for everyone on the road.

Plan a drive
I like the plan a drive option. I wish you could add more locations to a plan a drive. Basically make a full trip from start to finish and add all the location you want to stop at.

Issue reporting sucks
Why is it so hard to report an issue? I have needed to multiple times and after trying and it taking too much of time I just didn't do it. It deletes the whole thought out response I wrote to log me in when i thought i was already logged in and doesn't save my information. I am really fed up.

Routes
Need more routes was going from Wisconsin to Joplin Mo. your new system wanted to send me though Illinois. I didn’t want to go to Illinois wanted to go though Iowa. When it finally found me in Iowa it finally calculated to my route it took me an hour out of the way!! Your not improving this app your ruining it!! We liked multiple routes and shortest distance the two thing you ruin!!!

Waze share the drive with a friend.
Share a drives destination with a friend or friend group, where everyone could see others in their navigation map.
And other friends could ether suggest or set a new destination to everyone. This could be acomplished by setting a user level within the group.
Also would be cool to have option to make these groups multiple and enable or disable them.2 votes -
Finer control of what hazards display on the map.
This request seeks to add a finer control of which type of things appear on the map. I don't need to see construction crews, or weather hazards, or missing signs. I only need to see road debris, stopped vehicles, roadside assistance requests, and police. But currently, the options don't give you the choice of specific things you would like to see.
What I'm proposing is to break out the current "Hazards" category under Display & Map / Details on Map into each of the hazard categories available, so that users can select or deselect the hazards they care about seeing…

Auto speed adjustment integration with cruise control and auto brake function. On highways only.
Because of fuel burned, brake pads worn, and accidents during traffic on highways and frustration of stopping on a highway for apparently no reason at all.
Wake has enough data on the highway to integrate with auto manufacturers Cruise Control and auto braking function to keep all traffic flowing a almost constant speed. Without the concertina effect caused by human speed adjustment error. Humans will never fully trust or do not want to wait for or would possibly even afford a self driving car.
This system would only be available on highly congested highways to keep the flow of vehicles…3 votes -
Add user control stop alerts reductions
The app without warning reduces alerts on usually travelled routes. Even critical warnings about mapped seatbelt and phone cameras stop regardless of the user's alert settings! WAZE - allow the user to actually control the alerts please.

button cancel route stopped working
After last update while running on Android Auto, button cancel route(in left bottom corner, button with cross and remaining time) stopped working, even though I see it is pressed - UI item changes the color when pressed. Button worked fine before with the same car and the same phone. It looks like it is pressed - there is visual feedback, but nothing happens.

Route optimization for manual transmission vehicles (minimize stop-n-go routing)
Allow a user setting for vehicle transmission type. Selecting a "manual transmission" setting would alter the routing engine logic to choose an equal duration or marginally slower route with less stop-n-go traffic (therefore less shifting and holding a manual clutch). Based on traffic speeds and stop signs/lights, routes could be optimized to minimize coming to a complete stop repeatedly.

No stopping anytime signs parking
I would like it if waze showed signs for knowing when no stopping anytime is because I see too many people thinking it’s ok to pick up and drop people off at a dangerous busy street and I would really like it if waze shows signs for no parking anytime happens all the time at the Rockville Metro Station on the West Side and it can cause a big backup and that includes fire lanes too

Optimun Gas Fill up station and report
It would be very usegul to have a road map calculator to the most optimum gas station depending on the fuel consumption of your car (that you can report manually after each travel), depending of the gas price in eah station and depending of the traffic to reach that destination.
If you want to fill up just a couple of gallon it is not optimum to go to the cheapest one, instead you want to go to the nearest one, but if you want to go to fill a full tank it is more optimum to go to the cheapest…

Text Msg Concept
Hello Waze Team #1,
One idea, I think would be great to have here in the near future is to be able to set Waze as a default app on iPhone, so whenever someone sends you a text msg for address or favorite locations it will automatically default to Waze and not google as it currently does. I just think Waze has been evolving to be a favorite request by lots of drivers out in the community and cities.
