Sound output in a new iOS version not working
Please fix sound output in a new iOS version: Bluetooth/phone speakers. Sound is set to phone speakers, but goes to Bluetooth after recent update. I listen to the radio, not Bluetooth (bt is on for phone calls and the car is connected), as a result I do not hear Waze sounds - missed turns, missed notifications and trip alerts.
Please fix it, this feature was so useful while working :)

Alerte limite vitesse
Bonjour,
Merci pour cette application.
Serait-il possible de pouvoir moduler le son de l'alerte sonore de dépassement de la vitesse, car je ne l'entends pas, même quand le son global de Waze est au maximum.
Cela sera d'autant plus utile que les routes françaises passeront prochainement à 80km/h.

Credit Card Skimmer - incorporate reporting finding a credit card skimmer @ a pump, ATM & set a 24hr alert
As people can report accidents or cars on the side of the roadway, we could report finding skimmers and alert drivers to the possibility of one being at the location within the past 24 hours. The alert would fade away after that period of time if no further alerts from that point are validated.

Report Traffic lights in Android Auto
The button to report faulty traffic lights is already in the mobile version of the app. Can we please get it ported over to the Android Auto version? At any point in time at least 30% of South Africa's traffic lights don't work and it would help many users if a few of us could report from our car displays.

Change colour of car on “Vehicle on Shoulder” alert icon
When submitting a report and looking at the possible report types while driving. From the corner of one’s eye the “Vehicle on shoulder” alert icon and “Object” icons are very similar.
I suggest the colour of the vehicle in the “vehicle on shoulder” icon be changed to a different distinct colour that also accounts for colourblind people.
If the vehicle was blue or green for example it would be easier to quickly tell the icons apart. Otherwise I feel like I need to distract myself from driving to double check the description next to the icons before confirming the report.

Nothing to do with your friends friday night?
Game mode on wazer will change video games in real life.

Collaborative Routing
Waze works like the most other Navigation Apps. You can choose between 1 and 3 different fixed routes, that sometimes slightly change when there is a lot of traffic ahead. The problem is, that Waze works like a broadcast as far as I know.
So when Route 1 have heavy traffic, all other users get Route 2 to avoid traffic. The problem here is, that new heavy traffic will be created to avoid the first.
All cars following the same alternative route.
Instead of rely on fixed routes, each user should get a personal routing suggestion l, each Route little…

NO EMERGENCY VEHICLE ACCESS!!!
Take Point Richmond, California OFF the map re-route!! Our streets are many decades old and very narrow. Residents blocked in and emergency services blocked out. I am very concerned as the frustrated, MISGUIDED cars become idling, polluting, revving logjams outside our homes!! Our police are patrolling and ticketing illegal and dangerous drivers.

Make car (default arrow) icon smaller and look more like an arrow
The arrow icon is too plump and can barely discern the direction it is pointing at a glance. Shape needs to be more defined and apparent, also could be a little smaller.

Waze data as legal evidence
It is frustrating when vehicles are being operated unsafely and there doesn't happen to be a police officer to witness. Yesterday as I was driving down a busy NY highway 4 motorcyclists were doing wheelies, tailgating cars and weaving in and out of traffic. In the absence of a police witness perhaps a certain number of hazard reports from Wazers, including offender's license plate numbers, might be sufficient evidence for law enforcement to pursue charges against drivers creating hazardous conditions. Has anyone considered this? Thank you.

Enhanced Hazard Reporting by adding "Affecting Flow of Traffic" option
Everybody has seen a car on the side of the road but how many of those are actually affecting the flow of traffic? People post them to gain points but often times it is not useful information.

Blacklist police
When there are multiple police reports in the UK in one area it usually means there is a police checkpoint, recently there have been more in my area however me and my friends noted that the police also use waze themselves and press “not there” to remove warnings other waze users have put so that people do not realise and have to go through the whole headache of getting checked. A couple of ways around this could be that you require multiple different users to press “not there” before removing from the map or if a user has been stationary…

Car sharing
Very disappointed with the French car sharing site Blablacar, I am convinced that Waze has a huge card to play: Waze could link people looking for a trip and people driving, nearly in real time, like a virtual hitchhiking.

Adding a maximum speed for adapting maximal speed roads
Hi,
In Belgium and the Netherlands (and probably other countries too) we have adapting maximal speed signs on the highroads (and on soms other roads too). In case of trafficjams or accidents they lower the maximum speed on that road so you don’t get extra accidents and jamms (other people that go faster and slower on the highway etc).
It would be handy to have a button on the ‘report screen’ to set a new (temporary) maximum speed for that segment while you are in your car so that other people can see it, your maximum speed is properly indicated…

PLEASE stop routing people on minor roads
Please stop routing people on minor roads like Norwich St in Milwaukee! Our small, quiet road now has tons of traffic that it never had before (I've been here 20 years) and that it wasn't designed for, to the point that I might look into whether we can get speed bumps, especially since most of the cars are going WAY over our 25 mph speed limit. Keep people on the major roads that were designed for more traffic and that have higher speed limits, please.

Waze car icon display fix
When using Waze with iPhone 14 PRO on Sync 4A in 2023 Ford Edge and a route is selected, the car icon is cut off on the bottom of the screen when using AppleCarplay wireless and the Sync screen is set to the large display. Please have it shift a little more upward as to not cut off part off the icon showing where your vehicle is on the road.

Have Android auto function like apple car play
When you connect to apple car play you can see the upcoming turns on the phone. When Android auto is connected Waze doesn't let you see anything on the phone and says to do everything on the car display. This is frustrating because there's no way to see past the next upcoming turn for android auto.
