Incorporate gas stations pump prices on the map screen
While driving you don’t want to switch between screen pages looking for gas stations and pump prices

Screen ui
Instead of tiny buttons to confirm or deny, use a half screen red, half screen green transparent overlay making it possible to answer the alert without looking. It would increase usage and safety to this system.

Change screen layout (Directions box to bottom)
Move the directions box to the bottom of the screen, or at least, make it optional to do so. Right now various banners from other apps appear on top of the directions, which can cause dangerous situations when I need to clear them to see the directions.

New front screen warning
Hi all. I think we need a new front screen, just after you type your destination. This new screen will give you traffic info and route options like Google Maps does and more. Like and advanced warning before your drive starts. Otherwise you can just think, why has this diverted me? Then not bother and carry on ignoring the re route.

Speed limit/autovelox notification when screen off
It would be great to have a speed limit notification and autovelox with a big pop up (like the speed limit signal 50 km/h) even when the screen is off. Often when the smartphone is connected with bluetooth I cannot hear the speed limit alarm. I'll be always aware of the speed limit and autovelox on my route saving battery!

New "Complete Trip" Screen
I like the little pop-up screen that appears from the bottom that shows my complete trip and all the notices that are currently between me and my destination. I wish that this screen did more -- since I already know how to get where I'm going every morning, ideally I would just leave this screen on and it would give me all the info I need. But right now:
(1) It doesn't auto-update; you have to close it and re-open it to update information
(2) The small straight line from left to right is very short and not useful if…

External screen (usb or bluetooth)
Hello.
I would like to have an external Head up screen (without using my phone). I am thinking using a screen controled by an arduino. Is it possible to have a plugin for Waze that send some data (speed, speed limit, warning) to the USB or bluetooth to screen it ?
I will be please to developp the screen and arduino interface.

Separate the Confirm or Deny buttons on the Screen by a lot more-
On a phone screen, the button to confirm a hazard/etc is too close to the button for negating the hazard. While driving, especially if you hit a bump, the chance of hitting the wrong button would be greatly reduced if the separation between the two buttons were greater. For instance if the confirm button was on one side of the screen and the deny button was on the opposite side of the screen.

Improved Screen Layout on Larger Screens

First, let me complement you on a great product. I use it almost daily.
More importantly, you got a more meaningful compliment from Google on your great job.As a user of your product, please allow me some user feedback which I would hope you may implement in your product.

Fix speed icons size and location on screen.
Speed icons are way too small to see. Countries that drive on right side move icons to left side of screen. Know problem for years. Please fix.

Show address in final navigation screen when approaching.
I LOVE that Waze now accesses my Apple calendar to see my appointments & the time. SO very helpful, as Waze is my go to map app (I am an on the road sales rep). But I have to exit Waze & return to my calendar entry to see the exact street address I am looking for. The final navigation screen will have the name & phone number of the person I'm trying to visit, but not the address, the most important part. Really annoying!

CarPlay Home Screen
Recently the Google maps have been updated to the latest version and they received a new option, now they can be launched on the CarPlay home screen which is divided in to 2 parts, before that there was able to use Apple maps only at that way. This is super comfy tool. Pls look at the pic. below

Button on NAV screen to mark LOCATION
Button on NAV screen to mark a LOCATION that then takes you into the TYPE of incident you want to report (accident/object/etc). This would increase accuracy of location of the incident.

Screen size
Hi,
I have an LG tablet. When it is vertical the speedometer is covered by the friends page link. If the speedometer could be moved to the left sided of the screen it would be more visible.2 votes -
Add an option to have the 'Music Player' button always on the screen.
It's quite annoying to start up waze and then try to start your music player up. Please allow us to optionally just always keep the 'Music Player' button on the main screen whether music was playing before waze launched or not.

Waze to issue Alerts when using CarPlay split screen
According to Waze support, when using Carplay split-screen (where Waze splits screen with other app like music), Waze won't issue traffic Alerts by design!! That's true, I have confirmed it. As soon as Waze returns to "full screen", it resumes issuing traffic alerts (danger, weather, radar, etc).
Split-screen is a quite usefull feature of Car-Play as it simplifies greatly audio/music control on the road, without the issue of messing with several buttons.
Although in split-screen mode the screen area that Waze has to show information is reduced, there is no reason why Waze could not keep…6 votes -
Banner At Top of Screen
It would be nice to have a banner at the top of the screen to make getting back to the Waze app easier. Google Maps does this.
