3. Enhance speed display color scheme

   It would be easier to assess speed with more informative color coding:

   White = below speed limit
   Green = speed limit
   Yellow = between speed limit and user-defined "when to show alert" speed
   Red = exceeding user-defined "when to show alert" speed

   Keep current warning with briefly displayed larger speed limit reminder

4. continuous speed limit alerts

   Waze currently only alerts you once if you are speeding. Suggesting an option to allow to keep alerting every X number of min or seconds.

5. Route away from schools at pickup & dropoff time

   We've been noticing an increasing amount of Waze traffic near our local elementary school. It is dangerous for the kids who are biking to school (and not yet as reliable as adults) -- we have had three kids hit by cars in our small city so far this year. And I'm sure it is annoying for drivers -- we've seen a lot of folks swerving around slow cars etc.

   I would love to be able to tell Waze the pickup and dropoff windows for our school, and have it automatically route away from the school (and ideally nearby streets).

   Maybe use the FHA road classifications for school safe and bike safe roads to know which roads to route away from.

6. "Open in Waze" - modify the Waze code so a user can click and hold on an address and be given the option to "Open in Waze" for navigation.

   "Open in Waze" (or "Navigate to in Waze") would merely allow the user to click and hold on an address in their phone and be given the option to open the address within Waze itself.

   A user currently can open an attachment in an email in numerous different downloadable programs. The same is true for address which currently default to the Maps app. It would be nice to see the same integration with Waze.

   Then, whenever a person receives a text, email, or other message with an address within it, the user would be able to click and hold on that address and select the option to "Open in Waze". From there Waze would either display that address with the option to navigate to said address, or would begin navigation automatically. Either way, it would be one more step towards making Waze even easier to use for entering destinations.

7. Option to keep "battery saver" always on

   Waze has this new "battery saver" feature that dims the screen when there is a long way until the next turn/action. As I understand, currently this feature only kicks in when the battery level is low (<25%). Or you can manually turn it on for a current trip, but it revert to the default behaviour next time you start Waze.

   I suggest to add an option to keep it ALWAYS on. Because I would like to use it all the time... Even if the battery level is not low, I'd like to save it for the rest of the day. One way to implement this would be, for example, to make the threshold battery level adjustable - so it would be 25% by default, and I would set it to 100% (=always on).

8. Waze Support for the Parrot Asteroid

   The Parrot Asteroid is a great car stereo based on android, however the unique nature of the device limits it's online apps to those that specifically support it. Currently the Asteroid has no turn by turn navigation. Waze's powerful mapping and reporting features would greatly benefit users of the Parrot Asteroid and raise awareness for both Parrot and Waze.

    Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

11. carpool match

    I would like to use Waze to match me with carpool buddies. Waze has a large community of active users, already knows my origin and destination as well as time of day that I leave for and from work. It also has all this information for people in the neighborhood.

    If Wazers can indicate if they are open to carpooling, then Waze can help connect them.

    There are some apps like Avego that try to help, but because they have such few users, they aren't useful.

    Would you prefer to carpool if you could ?

    Changing this to Not Planned, as it doesn't fit on our roadmap in the near future. We'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

12. Prefer main roads

    Please install main roads button, so in cities I take main roads instead of all those side roads just to save a minute but burn way more petroleum and drive zip zag. So if the roads will be similar time waze would preafare main roads, if time would be different fore 5 minutes and more it would take side roads. This would help especially on long journies, we're I can not zoom in every little city all the time.

13. GPS-Provide Street Names

    GPS Feature-It would be greatly appreciated if street names are given, especially for turns, e.g., turn left "on Main Street", etc. or red light up ahead on "Stone Street". My car's GPS (which I rarely use anymore) has that feature and it's great. There have been a few times, particularly when approaching a short street, that Waze says turn left and by the time I get to the corner, I realize I was supposed to turn on "that" corner and it's too late. So I then have to backtrack. But if the street name is given as the driver is looking up ahead and notices the street sign and Waze says the street name, it will register.

    Jai Haze is a well known YouTube Vape Reviewer with a comedic voice that’s a cross between Vince Vaughn and Jersey Shore, let’s get Jais Voice on Waze, Jammies and all, to bring his comedic wittiness to our morning commutes! Can you just play him in the backround of Waze? Yes you can obviously but wouldn’t it be more of a fun matrix like commute with him reviewing the new Vape Device in the backround and him also telling you to turn your Jammy left?

16. Add option to Avoid Tunnels

    For various reasons drivers may wish to avoid tunnels when navigating. This should be an option along side with Avoid Highways and Avoid Toll Roads.

17. Add an "Avoid traffic" routing option

    I don't mind adding a few minutes to my trip if it means I can keep moving and not get stuck in traffic. Waze already has the data to make this type of routing possible.

18. Radar alert with visual speed information

    I suggest inserting the speed information into the radar notification. The notification now only reports that there is a radar a few meters ahead, not to mention speed. The radar speeds are all set up in the Waze maps, being information that can be easily extracted. The feature would certainly help many users, even eliminating the use of applications that perform this function. I also recommend that in settings there be options to "always be notified", "be notified only when above speed" or "never be notified." Allowing the user to decide on notifications.

19. Rodízio de veículos São Paulo

    Na cidade de São Paulo existe rodízio de veículos pelo numero final da placa. Gostaria de sugerir uma alteração que quando o usuário digitasse algum endereço pertencente à área de restrição ou que tivesse que cruzar tal área, que fosse alertado sobre o final da placa que está impedido de circular e o horário. Seria interessante também se permitisse programar a saída para entrar e sair da área restrita no horário em que não sofresse multa, talvez com algum alerta.

20. Bring back Friends feature

    Friends feature was a great feature and we would like to get it back. As mentioned on multiple conferences it was a "thing" in Waze which was diffenret in Waze app, it was something close to gamification and it was bringing users to the app.

    Friend feature was removed to make some place for Carpool - that was said by Waze many times. Now, Carpool is dead and Google is trying to implement Friends feature - that's why we would like to have it back!
