Be able to actively switch Toll roads on or off in Apple CarPlay app.
Hi,
Like Google Maps in Australia, within Apple CarPlay, you are able to navigate to a settings page, where you can turn on or off a host of functions.
One of which, is a toggle to avoid Toll Roads.
This feature would be very handy, as its the only thing stopping me from using the application as my main map system.

Make speed limit larger on apple carplay
I have read the responses to this issue. It seems to be a bot responding as:
Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already displays a speedometer, including both your driving speed and the speed limit for the road you’re currently on.
That is NOT the issue. Just remove the speedometer and make the speed limit LARGER. Like it appears on Google Maps, which owns Waze.

Al usar Waze con CarPlay NO es posible reportar daños en las calles como calles cerradas o eventos en las mismas,
Carplay NO permite reportar eventos en las calles como cierres, o eventos de cierre lo cual hace que el mapa te guie por calles por las cuales NO se puede pasar lo que genera perdida de tiempo y errores en las rutas, Carplay Daña y destruye totalmente esta excelente app debido a sus restricciones sin sentido.

Apple CarPlay shortcut for reporting a hazard
To report a hazard (ie pothole) requires 4 clicks. Would be great if there was a few one click shortcuts to report the most common hazards such as a pothole, police, and vehicle stopped on side of road. This would be much safer than fumbling around to report a pothole while driving.

Fix bugs in Waze/Carplay interface
Hello Waze! Love your app but can't use it on CarPlay due to some technical issues. In my car Waze comes up very loud and seems impervious to the volume controls on my steering wheel, but when I persist, it stops talking to me all together which is not a good thing when you're in the middle of a Drive into a complicated traffic situation. Please fix this issue so I can start using and enjoying ways again. Unfortunately now I am using Google maps which I don't like nearly as much, but at least it allows me to turn…

Showing family members car on carplay while driving
For example we drive to another city with two or more cars, i can add their profile, then on my carplay screen i can see if they’re behind me ( in meters or kilometers) or infront of me, so i won’t be worried about them being lost in the way.

Add the ability to change map screen to iphone when using Carplay
Add the ability to change the map screen to the iphone when using Carplay. In some cases, depending on the vehicle design, the dash is not right in front of the driver (2007 Toyota Tundra). It would be beneficial to be able to flip the Waze screens (map on iphone and directions on the dashboard screen). (Keywords: Flip Screen, Change Screen)

Better CarPlay display
Dear Waze Team,
I’d like to suggest a small but meaningful UI improvement to enhance user experience.
Currently, the box displaying the estimated arrival time, remaining minutes, and distance is located in the bottom left corner of the screen. Unfortunately, this area often overlaps with alerts and notifications, especially when there are multiple incidents or warnings, making it difficult to quickly view key travel information.
Would it be possible to relocate this box to the top right corner of the screen or offer customizable placement in the settings? This change would greatly improve visibility and reduce distraction while driving.

Based on internet search the issue appears to be plaguing Waze worldwide. Alternates like Apple and Google maps do not suffer from this issue.

Waze Automatically ’Wakes Up’ when connected to CarPlay
I understand the Waze Sleep option, saving battery etc.
However it would be really useful that once the iPhone is connected to CarPlay that it automatically wakes. Alternatively a Siri activated command such as ‘wake up’ gets the app out of sleep mode rather than the current approach which is to pull over disconnect and then reconnect to engage the app out of sleep mode.1 vote -
Change Waze user interface on CarPlay (with or without Touch screen) to DEFAULT cursor position is ‘Report’.
I have no Touchscreen on CarPlay, controls therefore are scroll buttons on steering wheel. Whenever I’m driving it take several (4 typically) button presses just to toggle the ‘report’ button (like if there is a car on side of road). I’m recommending that the CarPlay cursor defaults to this button so user just presses ONE click to file a report, confirm a warning or whatever - much safer (eyes on road) and more likely to use as it’s a pain & by the time you reach the selected report button on screen, hazard is past / behind you.

Add a way to put Waze to sleep in Apple CarPlay
If I navigate with Waze in Apple CarPlay, it stays open on my phone and drains my battery unless I remember to go on my phone when I get out of my car and put Waze to sleep. Then the next time I get in my car, Waze starts up even if I don't use navigation and stays on on my phone when I get out of the car, again draining my phone battery. And if while in the car, I put Waze to sleep on my phone or quit the app, it immediately starts up again. This is…
