Tweeks on your max speed alerts
Two comments on your speed limit alert. 1st, the sound alert is barely audible and not continous while still speeding. 2nd, when I slowed down after exeeding the speed limit, then I speed up again, I get no audio alert that I exeeded the speed limit again. 3rd, maybe you can add an option as to when I will get notified of speeding. Like maybe before I reach a percentage of the max speed I can get notified already. Thanks and more power to you guys.

How about adding an icon that allows us to mark known speed traps in our area even if we are not driving by at a particular moment? It could be a picture of a radar gun. Also, don't allow a single user to remove a police icon. It's too easy for the police to click "not there" themselves on a dummy account and it disappears.

It would be nice for the app to notify drivers when cops are in the area and when they are taking radar.

CHANGER LES MESSAGES ZONES DE CONTROLE EN FRANCE
Bonjour,
Les messages "zone de contrôle" correspondaient en France à des zones de danger où sont installées des radars fixes.
Il n'en est plus rien actuellement.
Le Gouvernement insère des zones de contrôle pédagogiques où ne sont pas installés les radars fixes.
Ces zones sont maintenant pléthoriques.
Sur 10 zones de contrôles signalées, pratiquement 8 ne possèdent pas de radars.
Il faudrait que Waze fasse le distingo entre ces zones comme le fait la société Coyote.
Soit en annonçant "zone de contrôle" quand il y a un radar fixe installé et en précisant "zone de contrôle possible"…4 votes -

Exceeded Speed Limit Warning
Hi the beep sound is heard after exceeding the speed limit but only once.
My request or suggestion is to have an option to choose if the beep should be continuous till the speed is not reduced OR to beep only once when speed is exceeded (later one is the existing set up)
Hope you understand and add this small request to the app.
I use the app by listening instead of watching so one beep for exceeding speed limit doesn't help..

Waze needs a 4th option under Sounds - "Directions Only"
Waze has always talked a little too much and now it's talking even more. They need a 4th setting under "Voice and Sound". Right now, we get Off, Alerts Only, and On. We need one between Alerts Only and On called "Directions Only". I don't want to know about railroad tracks. I don't want to know that my route is 23 minutes faster than some other route. I don't want to know that my route is similar to other routes. Just give me the fastest route, take me there, and talk as little as possible while keeping me from…

Set the distance that triggers the announcement
Allowing users to set the distance for triggering announcements would be beneficial. For instance, an announcement could appear 1km before reaching the reported radar location.

Announce verbally route and delay changes
At the moment if the route changes then Waze makes a chirp sound. I would like it to actually say "Route Change" or perhaps "Route recalculated due to change in traffic conditions" and then "Arrival time is now 7.34 pm". Or "Traffic delay has increased/decreased by 5 minutes". These announcements should be capable of being enabled/disabled in settings to allow for different user preferences. Personally I don't like reading messages on the phone screen while I'm driving - I would rather messages be read out verbally so I don't have to look at the screen as much - safer!

CarPlay update
Waze is super useful in car over my cellphone (iPhone)
However, once plugged into my car with CarPlay, the experience is worst that ever. In fact, the CarPlay interface of the app does not support all functions offered in the mobile version such as :
1. Unable to signify a fixed radar photo
2. Unable to specify the police specification (visible, hide, opposite side)
3. Unable to launch a SOS and so on

Transparência nos avisos de radares, polícia, etc.
Gostaria de sugerir uma mudança para quem usa o waze com o celular na horizontal (que é o meu caso).
O waze poderia colocar uma opção de transparência para os avisos de radares, polícia, etc.
Essa opção fica a critério do usuário regular a intensidade.
Ao navegar na horizontal, quando aparecem esses avisos, fica difícil visualizar a rota adiante, e com uma opção de transparência, isso ajudaria muito.

Configuraçao do alerta sonoro para todos radares de velocidade independente da velocidade de tráfego
[BRASIL] O velocímetro do waze sempre indica 10 km/h a menos que o velocimetro do carro, isso faz com que o waze não dê o alerta sonoro sobre os radares de velocidade que passo a 10 km/h a mais. Sendo assim peço que os desenvolvedores criem a opção de configurar o alerta sonoro pra todos radares de velocidade independente de velocidade, evitando o erro que relatei.

Deveria voltar o ícone de aviso de radares. Existem vários novos radares que não constam no Waze.
Rodovia Carvalho Pinto e rodovia dos Tamoios com vários radares fixos que não constam na navegação e não temos a alternativa de aviso de radares, apenas polícia que evidentemente não é a mesma coisa

Place report in different place than current location
I wish to have an option to report police on the road but I want to set the point (like few kilometers behind not where I am currently). In my country there are radars on the road, installed in civil cars, but the police stop you after 4-5 km later. Even the other participants report the police there is not helpful because you already was registered by radar.
So, an option to mark it later will help the other people to avoid that radar.

Por favor voltem com a possibilidade de estarmos alertando a existência de radares fixos e até móveis no aplicativo, esta ferramenta além de vosso diferencial faz muita falta para nós motoristas no combate a indústria do Brasil.
