Ad option closed road to traffic hazards and accidents. So that people know that the road ahead is closed en they could be automatically rerouted around the closed road

Improove road position
Driving on a parallel road (aprox 15m) to the plan route and Waze doesn't recoginse that i am on another road (no reposotioning) and navigation keeps saying instructions according the original plan and doesn't help in the real posotion.

Quality of road surface w/ permanence
Allow users to report the quality of the road surface (beyond the occasion pothole / object in the road). A crowd sourced critique of how smooth/good the road surface is that has “permanence”. Like construction notices, when planning routes out of town, this could help drivers avoid bad sections of Interstate/ State routes. Add this category to reporting button so drivers can share their assessment, recheck every mile (“still a road quality of rough?) once a driver flags the road surface as poor / rough / bumpy / etc. Not to be alerted, but to be used in route…

It would be easier to setup few default hotkeys for road accidents instead of choosing accident - on road - fixing the road.

Change Road Hazard
Under road hazard / side of road. Remove missing sign. Add Tractor/Trailer. If I am new to a area I really wouldn't know what sign is missing and if I am from the area I probably wouldn't notice it missing. We see more cars on the side of the road but the big rigs are bigger and more likely to be hanging out in traffic,

Report road closures issue
Impossible to report road closures on my phone ( iPhone13 pro)
Nothing happens when I tap any arrows on the map to report a closed road. I’ve tried to use this feature many times but always failed.10 votes -
Reporting road closures is a joke.
No matter how much you tap all over the screen you can't report a road closure. Also can't do it on the run and map is too convoluted. You should provide a comment box to type in or say the name of the road and nearest cross street where closure is. And you can do it at any time even after you stop driving or reach your destination. The road closure will still be closed.

RV routes and road types
Please consider an option of RV routes on paved roads only.It would be nice to select road type for all vehicles.

Mark bad quality road
There are so many roads witch are paved, but the quality is so awful, its more like driving on dirt road or trail. Would be great to mark bad quality roads so I could avoid driving there and save my car instead of braking it driving trough. Of course there should be an option to avoid bad quality roads also in the Waze app. I hope to see this feature in soon future. Best regards

Differentiate "dirt road" of "4x4 trail".
"Dirt road / 4x4 trail" should be called "4x4 trail" only, and keep the same navigation capabilities as now, only to be allocated as such the badly damaged roads that only 4x4 vehicles are able to travel it.
In the "street category" should be added a new type of segment called "dirt road", which would be passable streets for any vehicle but their ability to circulate them may vary due to various external factors such as weather. Display route with toll and no toll
When navigating to a place, display on the map the route with tolls and the route with no tolls. Having to turn on and off the avoid toll to compare both routes is an extra step that can be eliminated when planning a drive.

Add "avoid border crossings" setting, just like avoid toll roads or ferries.
Navigating from New York to Detroit, there's a route that crosses through Canada. I didn't bring my passport and wish to avoid this, but if I manually force another route, I might miss out on traffic-responsive optimizations. It should be possible to avoid border crossings just like any other route preference.

Time since road been driven
Tells user most recent time since another wazer traveled that road, highway, street, etc.
This idea would allow users to know accuracy of road reports, or if none be aware of possible reports.

Vehicle "attaches" to road
I have noticed that the vehicle icon "attaches" to the road on the map. There are a couple of issues with this. When I am in an unmapped area, such as in a parking lot, the vehicle tends to jump back and forth between its actual location and the nearest road. Also, the exit I take on my morning commute has not updated yet, so WAZE tells me to take the exit prior to it. Road Shields in the iOS and Android app look great! I suggest that road shield support is added to Carplay and Android Auto.

Remaining travel time instead of toll value
If there are tolls involved on the route, its being showed the toll value instead of the remaining travel time. It should always show the remaining travel time or there should be an options to choose what to show.
