1. navigation waypoints

Only mapquest currently features navigation waypoints.

On a journey from locationA to locationZ one might want to pre-plan gas fill up locations, or additional points of interest. These are waypoints, or places to stop along the way.

LocationA to locationB to locationC ... to locationZ

To accomplish this now in Waze is a bit tedious

   locationA to locationB
   locationB to locationC
   locationC to locationZ

One ought be able to enter all the locations and either specify the order of the waypoints OR allow waze to optimize some- or all of the ordering of waypoints.

To further facilitate waypoints Waze ought consider a feature to re-reoute the traveler based on (upcoming) slow(er) traffic areas. In an unfamiliar area one is likely not capable of determining which side streets (surface streets) are better flowing traffic.

2. vietnamese

It might be very attractive to a wide range of users here but what you need is to implement Vietnamese language, in this case we can support you as a partner. We are specialized in technical translations and working in software development since over 16 years.

So it will be great if we can find a way to collaborate in this point.

6. Interface for linking Waze with MyLink (Chevrolet and Opel multimedia system)

I like and use Waze every day when I go to work, but watching and tapping the smartphone touchscreen is unconfortable and dangerous.
Why don't you write an interface for linking Waze with MyLink (Chevrolet and Opel multimedia system) in order to use it through the car touchscreen? General Motors has already released APIs for the purpose, and the only one compatible navigation app is rather expensive and closed source...

Thank you for your suggestion! We are currently not planning on adding MyLink support, since Waze works with both CarPlay and AndroidAuto, which should be available in most car models. Stay tuned for more features and updates on Waze’s blog and social pages on Facebook and Instagram.

7. Voice for everything, including thumbs up or not there needs to be a lot better. It's a driving app and needs to be totally hands free

Voice commands are bad and they give up trying after a couple attempts. You cannot thumbs up or say not there with voice. It takes 5 taps to report some things which is ridiculous. Voice needs to be reliable, it's a driving app ffs

Adding a feature for reporting incidents of arson in nature reserves. The feature will notify the firefighters and share the direct location.

11. Night Mode on all User Interface Elements

When you're in Night Mode the map is, essentially, reversed in color; light things are dark, dark things are light. This is not true for any of the other user interface elements. Search, popups, reporting... all are very bright and very distracting. These interfaces should also be reversed, that is, dark grey backgrounds with light gray text.

12. Let users add speed camera locations

I noticed with the newest update that you omitted letting users update red light/ speed camera locations from the app .. not sure- why but I’d like to petition you to please add it back ..... we here in NYC are getting bombarded with cameras that have nothing to do with driving safe ( not near schools - hospitals etc) they are just another way for this city to take money from its hard working overtaxed citizens..

Not for the common Waze market. But might be useful for Public safety and emergency situations. Give the "ambulance"(example) Waze and it can help alert all other vehicles of the incoming emergency vehicle and its route. Also it can help navigate the Emergency vehicle to easier routes.

New version icons for haz and police are so small you have to zoom in to a small map grid to see them. When there is a problem wreck slow traffic police ahead you miss you last turnoff due to being zoomed in so close. Please give option to zoom out and still see critical icons
