Plan a Drive Functionality
As many people are noting, the relocation of the Plan a drive feature in the cheeseburger menu is awful. In addition to that, if you make a change to anything within Plan a Drive, it then kicks you all the way back out so you have to click on the menu cheeseburger again, then click on Plan a Drive again, to do the next thing in Plan a Drive. Who thought this anti-intuitive, clunky process was good for users????

Add a mood for slow moving vehicles ex..moving couch or cake onboard or sightseers etc
Slow moving vehicles should be able to self designate with a special mood to warn other users. Ex my ‘snail’ drives slow when I have a ‘cake on board’ or I am moving my ‘couch’ furniture or sightseeing like a ‘tourist’ on a road trip or am lost like a ‘broken arrow’ and can’t find my way ‘?’ Or because my ‘bad WiFi’ is breaking up and waze keeps disconnecting. In These instances a Wazer Needs and should be able to select it’s own special moods. This would help other Wazers greatly.

Variable Speed Limit Camera Audio Cues
Hi, based in the UK here.
When a user drives in a variable speed limit zone on a motorway in the UK, Waze thinks the speed limit is 70 mph all the time when in fact the speed limits can be changed from anywhere between 20 mph and 70 mph.
These variable speed limit zones have several speed cameras that can detect speeding for a variety of speed limits.
When navigating on Waze, when approaching a speed camera the audio cue for alerting to speed cameras does not play when driving within the speed limit shown in Waze, only when…

Visual alert to upcoming maneuver
It would be great if there was a way to add visual alerts (flash screen, etc) so the audio alerts can be turned off but it would still get my attention when I need to pay make a move. This would be especially helpful on long drives with sleeping kids in the car.

Improve finding of places/business to drive to
Currently, when searching for a business or place to drive to, it often does not find the business. Or, it shows a list of businesses with the same name but no address or city. For example, if I search for "Kaiser" it shows a bunch of Kaiser Hospital names with no address or city. And it doesn't at all show the one that is closest to me. So, I don't know which one is closer. I end up often having to use google maps and navigation to find places and get routed there. Need to allow us an easy way…

A Reminder to start driving
I want to drive a destination at a specific time. I want to set the time when I want to be there. When it is time to start the drive Waze will provide a reminder. Similar reminders using TV broadcasts.

App Learns About the User
The app decides on the best route depending on the way the user drives (maybe even adding the "which vehicle" the user is driving option) for example: some drivers are less prone to enter a busy street, some drivers are slower to take many right angle turns so in their case a more straight route is faster for them.

I can't always look at my phone while driving my motorcycle, so I would like to get more driving instructions at junctions and roundabouts

Stop popups while driving
Our insurance provider gives a discount for safe driving. To get the discount I can't touch a screen while driving. While driving using Waze, popups block the screen but I can't close them. If there is no way to disable ALL popups, I will uninstall waze and find another app.

INCREASE size of the Exit number while driving on highways, etc.
on the screen the size of font of EXIT is way too small.

Search button placement and exit sign size
1.The search button is on the right side of the display where most of the world drives on the left, most of the time I can't even reach it
The name of exits don't appear and the number is sooooo small I can't even see
Recent places visited have disappeared as well and show up randomly

Create my drive route for Drive testing
Create drive route to be loaded to waze user. We can send the route information to specific driver to load in his phone or tool.

Show distance covered and time passed while driving
It would be great if waze can display the time passed and the distance i covered in km or miles since i started driving when my app is running. This can be optional and the distance covered display can be turned on and off using settings.

Hazard reporting when not driving
There needs to be a way to report hazards after you’ve driven / not while your in the current area. I’ve been in multiple situations where there has been a hazard like a crash or roadworks where i’m not in a position to be using my phone while driving as to fully pay attention to my surroundings. I feel only having hazard reporting able to work while driving is a bit dangerous and by including the ability to report things you’ve encountered on your drive at home or when your not behind the wheel would benefit the safety of yourself…

Rid the Rage
Make a feature for road rage mode. If I go to ‘Road rage mode’, the app adds in lead time on planned drives (extra 5 minutes for 10 miles or less, 10 minutes for 11-30 miles, etc..)
-Maybe avoids heavy traffic areas even if drive is longer.
-If user shows erratic increase in speed, excessive speeding, swerving, etc.. Have voiceover give safe driving or anger management techniques to lower road rage.
-Give safe driving or anger management tips periodically on drive.I have road rage and millions of other drivers do as well. I think this feature could help alot…

Share drive
Add an option to share a drive from the CarPlay screen when using Apple CarPlay without having to open the waze on your phone.

report something when u park. While driving u can't report accidents etc
While driving today I couldn't report a accident. When I finally stop or parked I still can't report it bc I'm not on that road. Make it so I can still report something by touching the spot where the problem was.

Your service is terrific. But the german voice of your service is very stupid and drives me cracy evey time i use waze!!! Change it!!!
Please engage a propper german native speaker for your service. Because what we hear now is terrrrrible!!! She pronounces almost all streets wrong (i.e. mostly at the end instead at the beginning of the street name) and some street names even false so you don't understand what she's meaning! Please change that imediatelly. Thank you very much!

Show speed cameras before starting drive
Here in Germany, having an app that shows you the speed camera just when coming near the camera has gotten illegal. But it is legal to check for speed cameras before starting the journey. It would be good if Waze would show speed cameras on the overview route just after calculating the route.
