please stop ruining my life
i beg for the life of me and my neighborhood for WAZE to stop posting baxter st on their map as a faster route to the freeway/other. It causes such a traffic and danger to peoples lives. people in this community know how to navigate and drive through these hills because we live here and it is our life, but when WAZE advertises it as a quick solution, we experience traffic volumes for the first time ever, and we experience danger from incompetent and dangerous drivers, who break the law and create traffic. PLEASE I BEG OF YOU WAZE, STOP…

make your features actually work correctly
I like my maps oriented so North is up. You have a feature that does this. But after a recent update, if I touch the map in North Up mode to either look ahead on the route or zoom in/out, north up stops working entirely. Also, it's not great that the driving icon is now towards the bottom of the screen instead of centered. It makes driving south in "north up" mode incredibly frustrating. Everything used to work better months ago.

Stop sending survey requests via the App.
When driving 90 miles an hour is not the good moment to fill out a survey on your phone.. is it?!
Stop doing this, use this website or facebook for that!

A way to report Gas Stations or EV Stations that are out of service or out of gas
Normally during storms, people will stock up on gasoline and stores may run out of gas to sell. Having a feature that allows users to report when gas stations are out of gas or EV stations are out of service on the Waze app would be incredibly useful for drivers. Not only would it save time and frustration by allowing drivers to avoid gas stations that are out of service, but it could also help promote safer driving practices. For instance, if a driver is low on gas and there are no nearby gas stations with available fuel, they may…

City Mobility Indicator
City Mobility Indicator:
Mobility is key to our lives. The more mobility a city offers to its citizens the better the city is.
Waze has gathered enough information to provide a worldwide indicator to how efficient, mobility wise, a city is.
All Waze has to do is rank cities combining the agility to go from point A to point B and the usage of mass transportation systems (MTS).
The cities with more agility (speed / easiness) and more use of MTS are the ones with better mobility and the ones better ranked.
Users could input the quality of the mass…

Add Fuel Capacity to plan a fuel stop on highway trip
Hi ! Is it possible to add a fuel capacity and average efficiency to the vehicule specifications part in order to « automatically » plan a stop on a highway tolled trip.
It’s maybe a french exception but we enter a tolled highway by a entry point and pay when we leave the highway ; so a fuel stop outside the highway is difficult.
Thanks in advance :-)8 votes -
Ability to select the types of hazards to enable/disable
Sometimes, certain hazards are not very helpful and are more of a distraction than anything. For example, vehicles stopped on the shoulder, weather, and missing sign are not very important and I dismiss them every time I see it. At times I feel like disabling hazards altogether.
641 votesGreat news! The ability to disable individual alert notifications is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

minimize left turns across traffic
In urban areas making left turns onto a busy street without a traffic light or 4 way stop can be difficult and add minutes. Ways should have a navigation option to minimize that. By contrast right turns onto traffic and left turns off of heavy traffic roads are awesome

Past Drives Feature
I think it would be cool to see a list of your past drives with dates, the expected Waze time and your actual time (for those of us who like to try to beat the GPS 🤪), your average MPH, how long you sat in traffic, total drive time, how many other Wazers you passed along the way, fun things like that! I think after a long drive it could be fun to reflect on your trip. It would also be cool to show this in a daily, weekly, or monthly report. Maybe an option to leave personal notes as…

Upgrade the "Add a Stop" function to sort the destinations (gas, food, coffee) from closest to farthest
Upgrade the "Add a Stop" function to sort the destinations (gas, food, coffee) from closest to farthest.
Right now, if you are in the midst of a long trip and click "Add a stop" and ask see options (for food or gas or coffee) you see locations near your destination.
Suggestion is to add distance options, like "show closests first".
What good is a gas station that is 125 miles away? ;)11 votes -
Voice navigation instructions based on traffic lights and stop signs.
Apple Maps would say “At the next light turn left” or “At the stop sign turn right” or “Go past this light, and at the next one, turn left” which is very useful and helps me make turns at the right intersection, especially if two streets are close to each other.

Love the app. Please add , "Hey Dumb Butts, STOP RUBBER NECKING AND DRIVE!" You are causing the traffic delays.
Way to Tell Drivers to stop rubber necking. The stopping/braking to look is causing traffic delays.

I believe this idea is perfect and will help improve waze for your customers.
Dear Waze Partnership Team,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is David Lee, and I am the creator of a new government-licensed product called Safeguard (Case Number: 11858432). Safeguard is designed to enhance the safety of individuals during traffic stops by incorporating real-time audio, video recording, and live streaming functionalities into a transparent, easily accessible holder for license and registration.
Given Waze's commitment to improving road safety and your widespread use by drivers, I believe there is an exciting opportunity for collaboration. By integrating Safeguard with Waze, we could provide users with an additional layer of security…

Pause sharing instead of canceling
I like being able to share my room with friends, but I found if I stop somewhere it cancels it. I shared a route with a friend the other day and stopped at a store and when they tried to follow me the request was denied – it was canceled. There must be some way to pause a route when someone is making a temporary stop.

Help improve law enforcement accountability by creating an icon that drivers can press when they are being pulled over.
The primary function of this feature would be to create a transparent public record of drivers’ interactions with law enforcement, creating a database that could be used to improve accountability and reduce racial or other forms of bias by law enforcement.
Traffic stops are one of the most common forms of interaction with law enforcement in our daily lives. After a rash of recent deadly traffic stops involving African American victims of police violence, there is heightened attention to racial bias in traffic law enforcement. The problem is, academics and policymakers trying to identify racial bias often lack the data…

Add common objects to Hazard:Road
To reduce the possibility of the user becoming a potential road hazard, update the Report:Hazard:Road option with a submenu so that we don't have to type out what's in the middle of the road. There is already an option to report cars stopped on the shoulder, but none to report cars stopped in lane, or tire treads, or deceased animals.
It doesn't need to be fancy, just something so that we don't need to type, unless it's something really unusual.
