   Implement a setting for winter tires with studs and help the driver to avoid forbidden streets. In urban areas in the Nordic countries it is becoming more common that local politicians forbid driving cars with winter tires with studs on some streets with high pollution. When creating a route to a destination, Waze do not take into account that some of the streets may be restricted due to this. This is becoming a problem since the driver need to be a local to know where not to drive. Signs showing the restriction are always present but will be noticed too late and mostly when you actually already are on the street. Fines for not complying are high and the police makes regular checks. Studs save lives applied on cars used in various winter conditions and will be used widely also in the future.

2. Hi dear waze team. Now we have highlighted lane on express way with 3 or more lane on the top of navigation screen, that very helpful .

3. Speed camera toggle

   Please give us a avoid speed camera reroute toggle similar to toll ways. Seems like your app keeps routing us into cameras by default. These are bad unhealthy unsafe driving conditions in high traffic areas that I would prefer to avoid and go around.

4. Lane guidance colour

   The current lane guidance in Android Auto is shown such that the 1st line shows the upcoming lanes to take, and the 2nd line shows the next (i.e. then) guidance. Instead of taking up two lines, which takes up space, colour the most appropriate lane (s) in a different colour (green), and the least best lane in another colour (amber). For eg, if the upcoming highway exit is 3 lanes to the right, but the final edit is only the right most lane, colour the 3 arrows such that the right most is green, and the two other arrows in amber. That way, driver will know from a long way out that the lane to take is ultimately the right most. In the current display, drivers on unfamiliar routes can't tell which of the 3 lanes to take until it's too close. Advance information would help a lot! Actually, if the arrow can progressively change colour gradient it'll be even better

5. This-trip-only Navigation Preferences or Warning When Any "Avoid" Option is On

   Occasionally a given trip requires selecting "Avoid" options within Navigation Preferences. However, it's easy to forget those options were set, resulting in a convoluted and potentially time-consuming routing the next time Waze is used for a different destination. Suggestion is to provide an upfront Navigation Preferences option for "this trip only" when setting up the trip or when a trip is selected from favorites. An alternate approach to this issue is that whenever a future trip is defined, via favorites, new trip or past trip, the user is alerted if any Navigation "Avoid" settings are ON.

10. List Routes that avoid freeways as an regular option especially if it faster

    There should an automatic option for routes to at avoids freeways as the ones that use highways/ freeways. Sometimes due to traffic, the route that avoid freeways is the faster route. Currently in order to request that I have to click avoids and the again click on other option to pick avoid freeways. Ideal would be an automatic route that notes ( avoids freeways). If you are unable to have that option pop up as one of the route options ( which other GPS sites offer) then at least place the option to Avoid freeways in the first box that appears when you choose Avoids as this is one that most people use often. 12. Names assigned recently for some existing public lanes by East York council in Toronto

    I'm a collge journalist student. On September 16, 2019 the council approved to add names of people and other historical aspects of Toronto to some existing public lanes for people to easily navigate to and had 2 street closures..

    I'll add the info here for the update but in return I would appreciate a quote for my article which really will help me graduate since I'm in my final year.

    What is the process of getting you navigation system updated and how long will it take?

13. Toll road prices

    Sydney driver, tolls are crazy here depending where you're going. Maybe an option of route at the start. Route A - 34 mins $9, Route B 39 mins $2 etc. Would make a huge difference on commutes everyday of the week.

14. Flag when route contains tolls

    Yesterday I was going from Kfar Saba to Tel Aviv in the morning and the route ended costing me over a 150 NIS.

    I often use Waze and trust it so I put in the address and followed the route. At some point I realized that it was taking me to Road 6 (which I didn't want to take because I am with a rental car at the moment and they charge extra) it was too late to turn back at that point so I proceeded. Only to discover that the route was now taking me to the fast lane to Tel Aviv (near Ben Gurion Airport) - the toll was 87 NIS (!!!).

    I realize now there is an option to turn off toll options but I don't always want to avoid tolls. I was utterly shocked that the app doesn't flag when you are about to take a route that has multiple tolls. I had an important meeting and at the point I realized where the route was taking me it was too late to change.

    I think it's a really small feature to add which customers will value. Unless of course you get some commission from the tolls roads which gives Waze incentive to "push" those routes to you without flagging.

    I was incredibly disappointed yesterday and felt a bit "scammed".

    Hope someone addresses this. It will be greatly appreciated.

16. Make switching avoid highways on/off easier

    Often times during my commute I need to know if it's quicker to continue using highways or go local. Currently this means navigating several sub-menus which is distracting, dangerous and sometimes impossible. It would be nice to have a quick option on the home screen so you can compare the ETAs and routes for both highway and local

17. Traffic lanes speed.

    It would be useful to add this feature back to the Waze app because the speed of traffic segments is useful, so that we drivers can understand how intense the traffic is on certain sections of the road. But it should be estimated in both Km and in miles.

By allowing users to select these flexible options in Waze, navigation would cater to their specific travel plans, preventing unnecessary detours away from toll roads or vignettes.
