Restart Carpool Feature
The carpool feature was really helpful to save costs! Was shutdown during covid and we badly need it back. Why does every brilliant app/ invention by Google gets shutdown or shelved ?!

Show school carpool lanes
Show SCHOOL "carpool" lanes; i.e. Temporary lane closures during certain hours of the day, mostly around private schools, that clog up traffic
1 voteThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

Improve carpool performance in Brazil
I've been using Carpool as a driver for more than one year now, and it seems to me that the app performance is degrading overtime. Sometimes it is not usable at all, and I have to force close the App multiple times. It is really frustrating for the user's point of view. Every other user I know complains about it. The carpool poor performance is not worth of the Waze fame. Please fix it soon.

Waze Carpool private message default text is - Hey need a ride?
It's not pleasant to receive that text from a strange man it feels a bit creepy. You should change it to something that feels safer. Like - Hey I'm traveling tomorrow to XXX at 00:00 am. Please give the ability to turn off the "carpool" button
The carpool button is the bane of my Waze existence. Whenever I pick up my phone from the little pocket area in the car and Waze is running, it triggers this "carpool" button. Then it takes both hands to swipe from the far left side of the screen to make it go away. I won't ever use the carpool function and would love to be able to hide it and stop this from happening. I know it sounds trivial, but it's maddening to deal with.

Initiate dispute against driver (carpool)
When using waze carpool, I propose that there should be a feature added to the rider app enabling them to easily initiate a dispute. Maybe in the same push/email for rating the ride can be a link? Something like "Did something go wrong? Let us know about it".

Waze carpool to use its own time settings
When trying to create a carpool ride, the android app seem to pull time information from the device itself which creates issues when the time settings do not match the time zone. What we select is not in local time and also not in the entered timezone. It is a mess. Why not the app use its own time settings internally. I am also using scoop app and it works without any of these timing issues. Due to this I could not create carpool ride requests in Waze as it is showing some other time rather than local time that…

Temporary HOV/Carpool lanes
If I'm in a 2+ vehicle, it would be nice if a route preferred HOV lanes. In my area, there is a "temporary" HOV lane which has a different direction in morning and evening. (See US-93 between Boston and Braintree MA)

Toggle Carpool on and off when using Android Auto
Once the phone is connected to the vehicle, there is no way to easy toggle on and off the carpool. As a parent that drives the kids to and from school, I constantly go from single person to three people, and if I do not remember to change the settings before plugging the phone, I cannot toggle carpool off and off. I need an easy way to toggle carpool on and off when in the Android Auto.

Can we do this currently? I have commuter benefits through work to use pre tax dollars for commuting. I would like to be able to use these for waze carpool.

Open up Waze Carpool for Trinidad and Tobago to reduce Traffic
Big benefits to bring Carpool to Trinidad and Tobago to:-
-- reduce the number of cars on the road during rush hour traffic (5am-9am) & (3pm-7pm). It is grid-lock at these times and can take up to 3 hours to get into and out of the capital (Port of Spain)
-- car ownership is prohibitively expensive
-- public transportation is risky
-- public transportation is unreliable
-- be environmentally conscious to the earth by being more economical moving peopleHelp our little paradise to become better and more responsible. Help to bring Waze Carpool to Trinidad and Tobago

Customers should NOT have to have a Google or Facebook account to use Waze Carpool (as is currently the case). As a racial minority in the US that relies on carpooling, I find it very problematic that I have to have a Facebook or Google account (see diversity, equity and inclusion issues with both companies, as well as a host of other issues). Why can't I just sign up as a normal human being, non-customer of Facebook or Google? Thank you!

Carpool - Filtro de Ultima entrada do motorista
Vocês precisam adicionar e com urgência um filtro de disponibilidade do motorista no Carpool. Não fez sentido nenhum ter 30 opções de carona sendo que 20, 25 delas são de motoristas que não entram no aplicativo há 4, dias, uma semana, um mês em vários casos.

Após aceitar caronas no Waze, o percurso até o local pra pegar o Solicitante simplesmente não carrega e na única vez que carregou, o App cancelou a solicitação no meio do caminho, fazendo que eu perdesse tempo e quem solicitou achasse que mudei de ideia.
