Upgrade the "Add a Stop" function to sort the destinations (gas, food, coffee) from closest to farthest
Upgrade the "Add a Stop" function to sort the destinations (gas, food, coffee) from closest to farthest.
Right now, if you are in the midst of a long trip and click "Add a stop" and ask see options (for food or gas or coffee) you see locations near your destination.
Suggestion is to add distance options, like "show closests first".
What good is a gas station that is 125 miles away? ;)11 votes -

Add fuel station and prices to CarPlay/Android Auto interface.
You can already access favourites and search for addresses, but it would be great to access a list of nearby fuel stations and their prices (fuel type and search radius in settings).

Once you select a station, Waze routes you to it.

Bug with sorting recorded locations
(With French version under Android)
After having added several places in the "Recorded locations" panel (about 25) and having manually sorted them, I close the app. When re-opening it, the locations are scrambled and even if I sort the places again and again, the sorting is lost each time after the app is closed.11 votes -
And the ability to store your current location as a favourite so you can return to this point again without having to know the address
As a user I would like to be able to store my current location into my favourites so that I can return to this location again in the future without having to know the address.

2. Tap on ‘More’ menu (three dots)
3. Tap on ‘Preview location’
4. Tap on a star at the left side of location preview page

Saved Places
"Saved Places" custom sort fails to keep custom sorting. Very frustrating. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Location services ALWAYS On
I'm sure this has not always been the case as i've only noticed it recently but can you please sort the privacy settings on the next up date! I am having to manually turn them on and off as its killing my battery that you only have ALWAYS or NEVER as options on the location services settings. Sort it out!

gas price sorting
I have the preference set to sort gas prices by price. Please make it work. I've seen the lowest price on my route as low as the 15th gas station listed. From what I can tell, waze sorts by a random number generator rather than the price.

Can we get Car/Bumper stickers so we can see other Wazers on the road while driving
When I see other Wazers on the map it is difficult to see them on the road. It would be good to acknowledge each other as this a community project. So some sort of Waze sticker would be good

Add the ability to create 'Here' as a favourite
Not all destinations have a clear address or you want to be able to use a specific entrance. It would be great if when adding a favourite Waze would let you select the place you are right now. Most GPS allow this feature.

It would be interesting to be able to fix a destination by a button " Target GPS " when we arrive at the destination with WAZE. In this manner, we could very precisely memorize a point of arrival in the favourites.

food-truck locations
Living in a big city with lots of major events, it would be great to be able to see what food-trucks are available at events or where your favorite food-truck is located (this would required some sort of GPS tracking option for the food-truck when it is operational).

Group and sort toll passes
Austria has a general highway pass ("Vignette"), which most people have. Due to alphabetic sorting, I have to scroll down past 55 particular permits that affect very few users. And there is a "Flex" Pass allowing for tunnels etc. not included in the highway pass to be charged to my credit card.
Such general passes (also for neighboring countries), as well as the Austrian Flex Pass and e.g. German Umweltplakete should be put on top of the list, so that they are found more easily.
Slovakia, Slovenia and Czechia are at least found at the end of the list,…2 votes -

Please, please, please, someone at Waze sort out the English UK Kate voice issue. Forget the new version, sounds clunky,synthetic and unnatural, just re-instate as before. It's downright distracting now while driving, will loook for an alternative app if this continues.

Rain or heavy rain weather report?
Hello waze team!
It would be great if waze could make a new hazard weather report on "raining" or "heavy rain" on the road. I believe it was sort of missing in hazard>weather report section.

Personal statistics
Would be nice to get stats about your personal routes : average travel time between your first 2 or 3 destinations, average waze error on ETA (accuracy and precision - see wikipedia for the difference), time you spend driving per day, number of wazers you cross... one can invent all sort of fun and useful statistics.

Add favourite song button on players (spotify/tidal/youtube ect.)
In music apps we have got 3 buttons (left play/pause and right). I propose to add button "add to favourite (heart)" There are a lot of situations when you are driving, some random playlist is playing and one of the songs is so good you wanna add it to your favs - now you need to stop, switch to music app, add to fav and go back on road.

HEllo Whenever I prepare my holidays, I always save some POI for all location to visit + plan my routes.
I would like to be able to define /manage these POI and routes from the Waze web interface .
