Colour coded routes - showing traffic on route
Google Maps shows green, amber and red, so at a glance, its easy to see if there are issues on the route at any point along it. This is missing from Waze and would be a great addition, as, without it, you never quite know if you are heading towards issues.

Route optimization for manual transmission vehicles (minimize stop-n-go routing)
Allow a user setting for vehicle transmission type. Selecting a "manual transmission" setting would alter the routing engine logic to choose an equal duration or marginally slower route with less stop-n-go traffic (therefore less shifting and holding a manual clutch). Based on traffic speeds and stop signs/lights, routes could be optimized to minimize coming to a complete stop repeatedly.

Adding gas cost per trip or cost effective route options or fuel efficient or total trip cost by weekly or monthly.
Kindly add gas cost per trip or cost effective route options or fuel efficient navigation or total trip cost by weekly or by monthly cost. By this option user can estimate his/her cost before start driving. Waze user can decide and can track for fuel or other additional expense.

Think that you should actually have to click start to start route not have it start while you look at The route
Looking at The routes to decide the path is not the same as clicking to start the route

Why can I not see my route on a planned journey?
I can’t seem to see my planned route before hand. Sometimes it would be better, for me, to go a longer route but constantly moving rather than sitting in traffic through town.

A simple 3 route choise window before "Go"
Add a 3 split screen with map overview of route choises instead of automatically taking the shortest and presentinf just the "Go" screen

Mute re-routing sound
The constant re-routing sound waze makes when I choose not to take the exact route she wants me to, or because I kiss a turn is loud in my Bluetooth and even though I have the sound turned down its still annoying. I know she is going to re-route me so I don't need that loud Beep she makes. No other GPS device does this. If we could please have an option to mute this, then that would be amazing. Thanks.

Allow waze users to report accidet/constractions on road/close road after I finishing "my route"
I propose to allow waze users to report on route accidet/constractions on road/close road after I finishing "my route"..
For now, I drove on the highway and my signed on the route exit was closed - there was constractions and wase didn't show that there was closure. I needed to pass this highway exit and to exit on the next one. I couldn't sing the closure becouse of driving, and after I finished "my route" I wanted to report about the cloused exit in waze for other users, but it didn't find this opportunity in the program. Problem in route visualization when displaying alerts
When Waze displays route alerts the alert appears over the map when the phone is in horizontal position and it is not possible to see what should be done ahead. Please review this, as previous versions didn't have this issue.

Drive on a route recommended by veteran drivers. This refers to bus and taxi drivers only, and not to the recommendations of community members.

Calculate total tolls for each route option
Some tolls are very high, others reasonable. Now I can only see if there are tolls or not, but not to decide on a reasonable toll road.
In NY, this can be as much as $13 (George Washington Bridge) and $1.50 (Henry Hudson), for example.

Add option to search either for nearby options OR for options on route
When you're making a trip and realize you're low on gas, it's nice to add a stop at a nearby gas station. However, waze just lists stations on your route (or only stations nearby when using android auto for some reason). The user should have control over whether the search is for nearby options, or options on-route.

RV routes
I use Waze vigorously, however, in the summer of vacation time we adventure out in our RV. It would be helpful to have routes provided by selecting the vehicle type as an RV, and using roads specifically safe for an RV/18 wheeler truck.
These vehicles are not designed for small narrow roads, and would need to have the safest route provided possible.
Is it possible that we can have better options for the vehicle type, and this way Waze can make a suggested route specifically for said vehicle type? I honestly believe this would increase the amount of users…

Route mapping/sharing social
I believe having some sort of route mapping option akin to services like mapmyrun and Strava would be a great way to introduce a more social aspect for those of us who like driving for the sake of the drive or an adventure.
Myself and many of my friends enjoy just going on random drives where we just go where the wind takes us and see sights with no particular destinations in mind. However mapping those routes and destinations for future reference is challenging and honestly time consuming.

How do I report a suggested route as a public safety concern?
I reported a route issue while using the navigation app which led me to the Waze Map Editor platform. I stated on that platform a leg of the suggested route as a public safety concern. The route went through a couple of small residential streets that have low vehicular traffic and many children playing on those streets. A person from Waze Map Editor said they have "limited ability to influence the suggested route". Who or how can I report a suggested route as a public safety concern? Waze Map Editor doesn't seem to be the right platform for such…

Return to original route if I deviate
If there are multiple routes to a destination, I will choose the one which most suits me, even if sometimes it’s a little longer because it avoids difficult roads (I live in the countryside; there are a lot). But sometimes, for instance when one of my local roads floods, the way I prefer to avoid that road closure is not one of Waze’s options, so I will deviate from the route. Except after I do that, Waze will automatically put me on one of its other routes; often without saying.

Latest Waze app versions on Android make car position and route useless
Dear support,
For a while the split screen in Android is not the best way to use Waze. The location and route are hidden.
I have been using Android Head-Unit since 2021 and the best application for navigation was Waze for some time, till sometime last year when an update broke the rendering with notifications and now completely put my car position and route outside the display. I usually use split-screen as the display is shared between Waze and another application.
