Rush Hour in Los Angeles
Rush Hour in Los Angeles: first, there are surprisingly few left turn light signals in Los Angeles (LA) at major intersections. second, especially at rush hour in LA (which is most of the time) it is next to impossible to make a left onto a major road or cross it without a traffic light or 4-way stop sign. third, if a route says there is 'heavy' traffic up ahead or traffic is 'at a standstill', route me a different way!

Traffic congestion on Live Map is getting in the way of the blue line for the route.
I'm not sure how to post screenshots on this site but the orange line signifying traffic congestion is on top of the blue line for the route. I think it should be more on the bottom layer.

About large vehicles
Waze currently does not support heavy vehicles. However, large vehicles also cause traffic congestion, so it would be better to deal with them in the future.
Supporting larger vehicles allows you to collect more information. This information includes important information for understanding traffic conditions, such as the location and situation of traffic jams and road conditions.
Collecting this information allows Waze to provide you with more accurate traffic information. This allows drivers to avoid traffic jams or choose the best route if they are stuck in traffic.

Indicator Panel with Arrows and Traffic Directions and Street Names
Hi guys, I have a suggestion for you developers,
Could you make as a Show and Hide Option the "Indicator Panel with Arrows and Traffic Directions and Street Names" which is black in color,
And it's always there on the top left and it's huge and it covers a lot of the nav screen, top left, Could you make it like some sort of show and hide option.
This Information-Indicative Panel is rarely used and is not suitable to be always present on the display especially during long distances.

Before automatically reporting slowness/stoppage, give the driver a button to cancel the report
The waze client is very quick to report slowness or stoppage as a traffic problem. There may be other reasons for a slowdown--maybe the driver has pulled off the road or is waiting at a really long light.
My idea for coping with this: If the client notices a slowdown, play a special tone and put a button or pop-up on the screen for a short amount of time (5-8 seconds?). That will give the driver the option of cancelling an incorrect traffic report before it goes out.

Automatically start/stop reporting on bluetooth connect/disconnect
Please consider a settings option to report traffic only if exact bluetooth device (my car HF) is connected. This could be very useful feature to avoid false traffic reports.
Settings:
- Turn feature ON / OFF
- Choose BT deviceBehaviour:

Display Saved Time when Waze changes the route in case of traffic
The idea would be to be able to accept or deny the route change when Waze decides there is a best route than the current one.
In other words, let us accept or not to switch to the new route depending on haow much tilme is saved. For me saving 1 to 5 minutes on a new route is not always necessary.6 votes -

Favour easy turns
Hi i am in singapore. We drive on the left side of the road. So left turns are easy. Compared to right turns, which need to wait for the traffic light to be in your favour. Can waze hqve a feature to favour easy turn?

Signal deviation from "normal" work-home route
So I am using Waze mostly for avoiding traffic going to and from work, I suppose like most people. It would be helpful to have a feature where it gives an audible alert if it is plotting a course that is different from the "normal" one to avoid traffic. I imagine this could work by determining the best route assuming no significant traffic, and giving an alert if it is plotting a different course than that. Same thing goes for changes in mid-course due to accidents, jams, etc., that occur after I start. Normal navigation announcements aren't too…

TOWNS should be able to submit DO NOT USE THIS ROAD on certain roads
Towns should have a way of reporting problems with rerouting. In the case of many small towns intersecting two major highways, not all roads are appropriate for heavy traffic.
Towns should have a way to “prevent through traffic” on Waze, since Waze users totally blow off “no thru traffic” signs!
For example, small towns still using one lane bridges need to be able to prevent over use and over-weight; afternoon traffic blocking residential roads just because someone is trying to bypass an on-ramp; especially tricks using small town roads not equipped for big trucks and curbs, lawns,…

Motorcycle mode
Please consider developing a motorcycle mode, where we could get all the usual Waze features but without being constantly diverted to routes with less traffic. We are not concerned by traffic! We ride between the cars. Especially in Paris, where it takes a quarter of the time it would take with a car, to ride from point A to point B.
Think of the parisians riders, who still want to use Waze for its great features but would like to be able to ignore the traffic alerts.

Allow more granular control over notifications
I'd love to be able to adjust my notifications a bit more specifically than I can currently. For example, I want to turn off chit-chat notifications, and I'd love to have both an audio and visual notification for red light/speeding cameras, police, and severe traffic.

OMG - the evac zones and traffic disruptions need to be report. So many people can not travel the 5 freeway right NOW ! HELP
If people could report the evac zone and restricted traffic on the 5 could of prevented people going to work or drop offs for school. NOW all north bound traffic is stuck.
PLEASE allow us to give fire and evac notices ... this is a only route for some school and many people use this route for work. A warning would of allowed people to take work off or leave early to avoid the danger and the closure....1 vote -
