Are you using your seat-belt?
When start the app, waze could ask the driver if he is using seat-belt. The goal is to increase driver safety and avoid fines.

Route Optimizer
In Waze you enter multiple addresses, then you pick up your start destination.
Waze resolves your Route with shortest time or kilometers.
After you finish the first route, if you are in Route Optimizer, and start Waze, Waze automatically picks the next optimized route and so on with the third and next entered destinations. I know there is a planner but when the time is up, the destination is gone from the history.2 votes -
Allow Users (or their friends/family) To Be the GPS Voice
As most users know, there are special sponsored voices you can use for your GPS voice. Kevin Hart did it when Ride Along was coming out. Ed Helms is currently on it for Vacation.
Wouldn't it be great if their was a part of the app where Waze would give the user prompts and they could record themselves, or a friend, or family member saying them. (i.e. "In point 2 miles turn left." "Make a U-turn at the next light" ETC.)

positive :
that its great in changing really fast routing in real time especially in city center of Athens according traffic jam ..negative : that outside center , its prehestoric .. a lot of roads are missing, every user (that knows it ) does editing all the time ,
where you could adapt a FULL map of Google (as i thing Google bought waze , isnt it ? ) or openstreetmap ..
and we, the users that only edit if there is wrong in direction for example , ONLYYYY ..

A feature that takes popular transportation scenario quotes from the Star Wars Franchise that voices over the "starting route to" phrase. This add on is relevant due to the huge fan support of the new Disney Mandalorian show. This would engage users and would be a fun, nostalgic way to get to your destination.

Top line of route is not visible in new update
The top line to directions stating immediate turns is not visible, especially in landscape mode on iphone 12 pro max. Its scary to try to figure out direction and memorize it as well:(

WIFI broadcasting in a P2P like network
When having problems getting to the network. Waze can WFI brodcast you report and bounce it from client to client until it gets to the server and in the way you just notified all the cars near by that are the once they need the information.
ie. Broadcast an accident you just reported to the cars going on the other direction and just passed near you.1 vote -

Business Icons Overlapping Navigation Directions
What if the icons / markers / commercials for the paying customers / businesses would not cover the navigation directions completely? Nor the icons of "Police", "Speed Camera" and other users' reports?
I'm keeping the audio set on "Alerts only" and we almost missed a road exit completely masked by a LIDL store icon (we were on a suspended intersection somewhere in Slovenia / Croatia, the store was somehow below us and its icon completely covered the navigation direction). Then it happened again with a speed camera, then a police radar had the same faith...

Enhancing Navigation by Selectively Considering Planned Road Closures
One possible solution could be to include a checkbox that allows editors to choose which planned closures are considered so important that they should be taken into account in the navigation before they become effective. This way, editors can select only the closures that are critical for navigation, while excluding those that are not as important.
For example, in Switzerland these days, the Gotthard Tunnel is closed at night for cleaning. This closure can cause significant disruptions to travel, as the Gotthard Tunnel is an essential link between German-speaking Switzerland and the Italian-speaking Ticino region. Add stop along route
It would be nice to be able to use Google Assistant hands free to ask Waze to find a stop along your route like Google Maps does. Right now, if you ask it to find something while you're on a trip, it will just do a generic search that may have results in the opposite direction. On Google Maps, it gives you a list truly along your route and tells you how many minutes it will add to your overall trip. That would be lovely on Waze, please.

Show routes for lorry/big vehicles
Need to add flag on the direction or something that lorry can go through. Identify what vehicle the driver used. Some roads bigger vehicle cannot enter. Please!

Give me the ability to disable music altogether while navigating.
I've never seen an application that just assumes I want to listen to the music on my iphone. I use Pandora. Give me the ability to only receive Waze voice prompts and don't disable my pandora and start playing itunes music.

Re: my report to you yesterday. On Santa Fe, there are 2 signs for Hampton Ave. Hampton Ave South Exit or Hampton Ave North Exit. To tell me to take Hampton Ave West because that is the name of the road is just not helpful.

Tammy Dombeck - The Gridlock Buster
I am nominating my beautiful bride Tammy Dombeck to be one of your voices. Tammy was the Traffic reporter on the NBC affiliate in Dallas-Fort Worth for 14 years. After she left, she spent 3 years at the CBS affiliate as their morning and afternoon traffic reporter. We live in Fort Worth and I commute to Dallas during the week so I have been using yoru app for a couple of years. Love it. What I do miss is seeing and hearing Tammy give her traffic reports. I also am guessing that there are thousands and thousands of people here…

Wazer statistics make posted speed limits obsolete
When driving in fog, darkness or on unfamiliar roads I want a warning from Waze, if my speed is greater than (say) the 90th percentile of the Wazer statistical distribution for my position and driving direction.
I would also like to be alerted if another Wazer near before me drives much slower than I do.
BACKGROUND
Guidelines from location- and real-time data on the speed of Wazers should be more safety-relevant than rigidly posted speed limits, constant over both time and long distances.

"I'm in a parking garage" button to delay route recalculation and map out garages
An "I'm in a parking garage" button would allow you to:
1) Delay route recalculation until the car had actually started on the route (10 meters along actual street or so)
2) Map out existing parking garages for feedback to navigation
Because fiddling with your phone while driving is illegal in Austin, I prefer to set the route and be done with it before I start driving. Driving in circles around the garage means I typically have to do it afterward if I don't want recalculation to squelch my chosen route (non-toll vs toll for instance).
