Pronunciation of close
Can you change the pronunciation of close from Klos which is duff, and we are moving to a street name ending in close and it will drive me nuts :)

Alerts based on Route
Since Waze has the ability to track your trips I came up with this.
Lets say you drive to work everyday. You know their are 5 Speed Cameras, 4 Construction Zones and 6 Potholes. Waze should automatically disable it's alerts if you are familiar with the Route.
Lets say it disables it when Waze knows you have been on the same Route for at least a week.
Now if for example later on in the future there is a new Construction, or SpeedCamera installed on the same route it alerts you since it's new.

It would be nice to just disable the Search bar from view for regular driving when there is no active Waze navigation going on.
yes, I can confirm that the Search bar does indeed disappear from the view when actively navigating. However the issue is that it blocks the view at the bottom when you are just driving normally around when you don't need any navigation and you know where you are going, and you are just contributing the real-time data of the current traffic conditions and you can provide user-submitted reports along the way. It would be nice to just disable the Search bar from view for regular driving when there is no active Waze navigation going on. Thank you for your consideration.

Stop the pop up
I have recently been getting a pop up box to agree to terms every time I use waze, I drive for lyft and find this extremely annoying as I have an account and once should be enough

Option to close waze without confirming or double tapping screen
I use waze on every drive, due to this my phone is always logged in when driving (use a pin to access). While sitting in traffic one evening 2 robbers forced my window down, unlocked my car, opened the door and grabbed my phone. I would appreciate if an option could be added to close waze without confirming or by double tapping the screen in order for a phone to lock itself asap so that it can't be used or accessed. Bring back the report list on iOS!!
Please bring back the list of reports on iOS!!! I used to use that option all of the time, to decide which route I was going to take or see what I needed to watch out for, before I set out. Now I can only see what's going on when i set a route in the car to leave, which defeats my purpose of analyzing which way to go. I like to do this before i set out. To mark street - Kids are playing
Dear Waze Maps,
My friends and I have come across a problem. This problem is kids playing on a community road/street. This presents a risk to kids , drivers , and property. For example , a kid who is playing on the road could get injured by a car hitting him/her. The car could also swerve and hit another car , injuring the driver and/or car. Another possibility is for the car to hit property like : signs , decorations , houses , or light posts.

Family account
Until recently my wife and I used the same waze account. This was useful so we could share addresses of friends and family. Unfortunately waze does not allow us to be logged in at the same time.
I'm hoping waze can re-enable the capability to use an account on two devices simultaneously. alternatively introduce an export/import capability to the account so I can create a new account and just import my favorites my address and preferences10 votes -
Enable passenger search while driving in android auto mode
In android auto the search is removed until the car is stopped. My passenger wants to search for a new location destination. Sadly we have to stop the car to do that. A prompt asking if you are the driver would be better, then allow them to search. How can waze assume all interaction must be the driver?? If the driver declares to be a passenger well that's driver negligence but stop All interaction to prevent that, this renders the app useless at times.

Add the option to Refresh the Routes offered when in view, or Auto-Refresh them
A few years ago I've asked for a quick button for showing alternative routes, which you've implemented, and for that I'm grateful.
This time I want to ask that the list of Routes be continuously updated, either automatically, or with a "Refresh" button at the top.
Most of the time when I drive to work I know the routes and don't need to look at the map, so I would like just the routes page to open - but it doesn't refresh and I need to keep going out of it and back into it to see the updates. It…9 votes -
Road Avoidance
A way to tell Waze to avoid certain roads in the app, similar to tolls etc. but any road of my choosing.

Swap the remaining time and distance on the bottom of the display (or make remaining time optional)
I drive an electric car, so remaining distance is important for me, but when I use waze in split screen mode, only the remaining time is visible.
It would be nice if I wouldn't need to enlarge the screen when I want to see the distance to destination.4 votes -
parking lot landmarks / traffic analysis
I would like to see certain landmarks not count as traffic analysis. If an area is marked as a restaurant, parking lot, gas station, etc.. the time a waze client spends there should NOT count against traffic analysis. Wazers can't be expecte to turn their nav system on and off just to order a burger, or fill up the tank. In reality, a nav system should be as "hands off" as possible for the daily commute. start waze when you get in the car.. go on your trip, pull over at the gas station and leave waze running. go through…

Time to start driving to work
I would like to receive a notification every morning of the time I need to start my drive to work (depending on the traffic conditions and my location, of course). I know I can set it manually every day or set an "event" in my calendar that Waze will sync with, but it seems so basic and simple that I feel this should be a part of the app. With setting like days of the week when you go to work, time when you need to be there, respect state holidays toggle, etc.

Police Zones
Every time you drive on the highway, there are always spots where cops will hide out. Most people will slow down near no u-turn areas because they know of cops hiding there. When somebody makes a report of a cop in an area multiple times, zones or blue circles should be lightly covered on the map and fade over time. These zones will let users know "hey cops like this area a lot" or "ok cops do camp out over here just not recently". I think zoning is an easy thing to add and it helps people slow down in…

Potholes are removed by bad actors
I drive rideshare and diligently mark devastating potholes just for them to be removed moments later. There may be bad actors in high clearance vehicles with big tires removing these, or just people that don't see them from a different lane. It's likely many just want the notification off screen and mindlessly downvote. It needs to be more difficult to get rid of pothole reports, or allow us a setting to make recent reports more persistent regardless of downvotes.

Improve "forgot username or password" process
I upgraded to a new phone. Forgot my username & password but the entire existing process is circular. Put in my phone number (didn't receive a text w/in 24 hours). Put in my email address (didn't receive an email w/in 24 hours). I charged & started my old phone to get my username. When driving on
When driving through a many level street/highway, you should be asked in which level you are driving, since, at this moment, the App can detect you on either level, which leads to misdirections; if asked on which level one is driving, one would get the most accurate directions.
