  1. Notificatiosn need to be posted earlier in time to compensate for people who drive 70-80 mph on highway. That equates to almost a half mile

I will constantly get notifications after I have encountered them. Police, object on road, pothole, etc. Your system needs to make the adjustment for highway speed vehicles. At 80mph a half mile can go by in the 20 seconds it may take to post a notification. That is more than the length of time you offer the notifications...

  2. To add the Number Coding Scheme here in Metro Manila Philippines.

Please add the number coding scheme option for your users in Metro Manila Philippines. This will help users to fully optimize the use of their vehicles during "coding day." This will also help users avoid purchasing second or multiple cars to avoid the coding. The volume of cars here does not match the capacity of our roads.

  3. New Update Has Issues

With the most recent update, my google assistant microphone no longer works with Waze while using Android Auto. For example, if I'm driving & I tap the microphone or call out to Google and ask for directions to a place, the voice command says "ok, setting your route to said place." Then my Waze map flashes but the directions do not appear nor is there any route guidance. Another feature that seems to have disappeared is adding a stop to my current route. These features worked flawlessly before the update. Also, the large block that appears in the upper left…

  4. "Closure" function in iOS app=broken. Engaging CLOSURE displays area map with white arrows that mostly can not be selected.

Selecting CLOSURE from UI on iOS results in a local map. This shows White Arrows and red "-" icons. Unfortunately, often, the user can NOT select on the white arrows to flag the road closure, And the UI is displaying selection of a white arrow when another, not related, white arrow is clicked on. The way it is working now the app CLOSURE function is literally not usable.. It would be very helpful if the APP were smart enough to automatically select a intersection closure based on the information that the suggested and running route was not followed and now…

  5. Ability to create a report after complete your journey

Would be great to have the ability to be able to create reports of hazards etc after completing your journey.

If you are alone in the vehicle it may not be possible to report a hazard at the point in time, so to be able to scroll the map to the point of the hazard, drop a report pin and submit after the journey would be beneficial.

  6. Route guidance Audio

Fantastic app. Well done and thank you.

In a future release, would it be possible to

    1. Optionally have the route guidance to the drivers side of the vehicle only so as not to disturb sleeping children / passengers?

    2. Optionally have the route guidance sent to bluetooth earbuds, not the car audio so that only the driver hears it.

Thank you for all your excellent work.

  7. WAZE navigation system could be adapted to the nation's railroad netword where it could become a new-technology Positive Train Control.

Railroad Safety: a Ten Billion Dollar Boondoggle
    Carl E. Nash, Ph.D.
Derailments and collisions between trains are spectacular. Their economic and environmental consequences are considerable and they kill and injure people. In response, over the past forty years, pressed by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and Congress the railroads have been implementing Positive Train Control (PTC) systems to reduce the potential for these crashes.
Actually, U.S. railroads are quite safe for passengers. An average of only 5 people die in train crashes each year: slightly more than are killed in motor vehicle crashes in…

  8. Potholes are removed by bad actors

I drive rideshare and diligently mark devastating potholes just for them to be removed moments later. There may be bad actors in high clearance vehicles with big tires removing these, or just people that don't see them from a different lane. It's likely many just want the notification off screen and mindlessly downvote. It needs to be more difficult to get rid of pothole reports, or allow us a setting to make recent reports more persistent regardless of downvotes.

  9. Manual mode - route option for manual cars

The app already has an option to avoid hazardous / complicated intersections. My suggestion is a manual route mode that avoids large hills or road hazards that may be more difficult given a manual transmission.

  10. A category for a smaller road, that cars can't through in. Indonesia has a lot bikes here LOL

I hope you guys can add a new category for a smaller road that only can suit by bike. Here in Indonesia there are lots roads that only can through by bike. Several times i must take another road, because i ride a car rite. And it would be great before take a navigation, user must entry what kind of vehicle that they use,so that waze can suggest road that suit for their vehicles.
Thank you for your attention guys, i love this app!

  11. Showing visuals for vehicles that hold up traffic would make things so much better

Show a visual of where sanitation trucks, school buses, fire trucks, etc are on the map so you can take alternative routes to get to your destination much quicker.

  12. Police

Can you please bring back the police in motion choice? It would be nice to be able to hit two choices as well. For example police in motion and on other side. It would also be helpful if you could comment on where the police are... Like side of the road, in motion, other side, in median, etc as well as what kind of vehicle they are driving

  13. Make Waze a perfect navigation system

It definitely needs lane guidance (even google maps which technically is not a navigation system has lane guidance)

When you search for POI it should tell you how far (distance and time) off rout the POI is from your rout. (again google maps does that.)

Wase has problem with long distance. I travel a lot from Somerset NJ to Toronto Canada, and always have to wait at least half an hour for Wase to start working aside from several times crashing and not being able to do anything with phone because it crashes. This might be due to large amount…

  14. Add Completely Custom Routes

I would like the option to draw my own route. I often use Waze, not just to get places I've never been, but to time my arrival to places locally and be alerted to traffic incidents.

Overall I love Waze, but I can't use it much because it wants to "optimize" my route, which often takes me straight through dangerous construction areas (single lane concrete barrier interstate death chutes). We have a ton of construction in my area right now on almost every major road. I don't want to avoid all highways or interstates or even all of one interstate,…

  17. User option to define the value you want the speed exceeded alert to be given!

I know that by default it is 30Km/h but in many situations 30 is a very "large" range when going from 120 to 100 in a controlled zone P.E. on the A29

This value should be a user-defined option!

The warning must be given a few meters before entering the area at a new speed
(The precedence can also be a value to be defined by the user)

  18. What if you incorporated siren detection software into Waze so that you could see in advance any appoaching emergency vehicles.

For the safety of your users, a siren detection feature would give them advanced notice of approaching emergency vehicles. Our company created this software.

  19. "Multi-Stop Route Support for Delivery Drivers and Professionals"

I suggest adding a feature to Waze that allows users to input multiple addresses (e.g., 10 or more, as many as the user needs) and get the most optimal route connecting all those points. Currently, Waze only supports adding one intermediate stop, which isn’t enough for delivery drivers or people who need to navigate between several destinations in a day, like within a city. For example, a delivery person could enter 10 different addresses in advance, and Waze would calculate the fastest and most efficient route to visit them all.
Why is this important?Saves time and money for delivery drivers…

  20. On Screen Button Size

Android Auto on Ford F150 8.2" display. Buttons for "still there" and "not there" for reported hazards have a height to width ratio of about 0.16. Very difficult to press correctly as the finger moves up/down with vehicle movement. Button is too narrow.

Suggest that the "there" "not there" buttons have a H to W ratio closer to 1.0. Same screen space will be occupied, but buttons will be much easier to press.
