The road speed is too small, the speed I am going is less important as you can see this already in your vehicle,
Please swap the vehicle speed as that’s bigger & less important with the road speed
I have to keep swapping to google maps to check road speed as Waze too small

Commercial Navigation
There are a lot of commercial vehicles on the road. I think it would be nice to give the user the ability to input the height and weight of their commercial vehicle including oversized and overheight loads. Editors would include clearance heights when a road level 1 crosses over a Ground level, level 2 over level 1, etc. as well as roadway weight restrictions as displayed on signage (eg: Weight limit 8 tons empty weight) as well as general commercial truck restrictions as displayed on signage. Waze version for oversized vehicles like buses and trucks
A waze version where you can input the size of your vehicle so that it will navigate avoiding low bridges and tight corners and narrow roads. This will help school buses, touring buses, RVs, and trucks. Is this in the plans for Waze? I love the app for my normal sized vehicle (cars and pickup trucks). THANK YOU.

when routing through a narrow road or bridge alert drivers to that limit so they can reroute and not get stuck with a larger vehicle or trailer

Emergency Vehicle option
Please add this option to carplay. This is helpful on the road ways where the Fire/Rescue and EMS are present. Yes there is an option for Police, however, the other Emergency vehicles are just as important.

Vehicle head unit
Have WAZE installed on my vehicle’s touch screen head unit. Here are the “problems that I’ve come across, both would seem like easy upgrades to make?
a) When not actually navigating, 1/3 of the screen is used up with the search bar and my WAZE, resulting in limited visual info. There seems to be no way to get these to go away until needed.
b) audio alerts for speed cameras seem to have been removed? I get red light alerts but only a visual alert for fixed speed cameras.

Hazard ahead “Still There?” Buttons distracting
Hazard warnings for stopped vehicles are sometimes accompanied by radio buttons to confirm whether the vehicle is still in the same place or not.
These buttons are WAY too bright and large, almost blinding when I’m driving at night.
Please make these less distracting. My passenger can fill in your update report.

I suggest that Waze upgrade its navigation system to differentiate between local car users, motorcycle riders, and commercial vehicles. By assigning suitable routes for each type of vehicle, daily commuting can be more efficient. Additionally, dedicated routes for commercial vehicles such as trucks and buses should be provided to ensure they travel on roads that are most relevant and suitable for them. Thank you.

3 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

Non-Vehicle Car Icons
I would love some cute, simplistic car icons that aren't cars/vehicles:
- A little caterpillar wiggling across the map
- A little spider scuttling across the screen
- A sail boat / pirate ship the bobs like it's on water
- A beach ball bouncing down the roadI'm sure there could be other ideas but these were just the first I thought of that might work.

Vehicle Customization
Just another way to get user more involved with the app, or the whole family. i know id let my kids design a car that is displayed. It’s a lot of time and money but maybe do a couple “similar”models of all the major brands with color options and other fun add ons. It def would drive the user activity up.
