Semaphore optimization of speed, driving time and fuel economy.
To drive faster and keep fuel try to know the semaphore timing.
In this case can advise drive slower or faster (if possible) to drive non-stop in the semaphore green corridor, when possible.8 votes -

When Im running WAZE, set my GT status to "DnD - Driving by waze". So friends will not chat to me during driving. It make me peace and tell others about new navigation - WAZE.

Need A View Shared Drive Option While Using CarPlay
The green-ish “View Shared Drive” button that normally appears on the right side of the screen does not appear while connected to Apple CarPlay. Currently, the only way to view a drive that has been shared with you is to disconnect from CarPlay, which is very frustrating. I am on a road trip with family in which we are driving two separate vehicles, and it would be very useful to be able to view a shared drive on my CarPlay screen to see where the rest of the family is and what their ETA is.

Specify how many miles or hours you want to drive a day and get suggestions
Let's say I'm traveling from Tampa, FL to Denver, CO, and I only want to drive 8 hours per day. I would like Waze to suggest where I should stop (city), lodging near an interstate and even restaurants/happy hours. You should be able to specify hours or miles a day.

Plan a Drive - Needs Significant Improvement
If Waze wants to be the go-to app for driving, planning a trip needs to be significantly easier. I just tried to schedule a work travel drive with multiple stops to get to reservations on the way, and only one stop is allowed along the route. Also, adding that one stop took me 10 minutes to figure out. The user interface is not intuitive for adding a stop.
I recommend adding features to the computer app that can be sent to your phone. Planning a trip on the computer is significantly easier than on a phone app, and currently, Waze…

Display current location GPS Coordinates and share them with friends
when it comes to navigation gps coordinates play an important role as it pin points the location you want other's to know if all else fails, like street names and landmark. Everything will change but not gps coordinates

"Friend Driving" Notification Should Be Adjustable Based On Distance
I don't need Waze to tell me that my friends in New York City or Miami are driving when I am in Toronto, Canada (unless, I guess, if they have set a route to come to Toronto). Waze should allow us to specify how far away a friend can be that it will notify us of the fact that they're driving.

Add "Show Friend Wazers Only" Option
Perhaps you can consider adding the ability in settings to not just show/hide all Wazers but add a third option to "show friend wazers only", too. Be great to have this so when caravanning you're still able to see your friends without seeing all wazers which can sometimes clutter the map. Thanks.

Dear Waze Team,
I'd like to share a few thoughts on the “Plan a Drive” feature, which I think has great potential but currently feels quite limited in its flexibility.
Customizable Start Point: The feature should allow users to manually select the starting point (Point A) instead of defaulting to the current location. This flexibility is crucial for planning future trips or coordinating journeys for others.
Multiple Destinations: The ability to add at least two destinations would be incredibly helpful. Many trips involve more than one stop, and being able to plan this ahead would enhance the user experience…

There is possibility to chosse your favorite fuel - but we drive on CNG and there is no way to configure this. Can you please provide this?

There should also be the possibility to choose a route with the CNG filling stations on the way because this is a specific fuel and thus not easy to find... this would be a terrific improvement!21 votesCurrently Waze app supports 4 fuel types. Get rid of splash screens after a drive is set
When I have selected my drive location, I don't want to see another 2 splash screen prompts 1) confirming that I want to drive there and 2) confirming that I want to take Route A out of 5 different options. I find it incredibly inconveniencing.

After I finish driving I like to get summery with all the information during my ride like:
total time of driving after all the calculation(the most important)
If it's more or less the planned
How long time I lost in the traffic
How much I spend on highway

Why not a badge on the app icon that would indicate when any of my Friends are on the road?
The idea here is that it would reinforce the notion of Community that's explicit in the app. Would love to know when friends and family are driving, to send them good vibes, to be aware.

One step drive option - Skip all 3 current steps and just start the drive
Currently, when you are going to drive somewhere and you have the exact complete unambiguous address, you are forced to go through 3 steps after you enter the address.
you get a list with 1 matching address and some other non-matching addresses, from which you have to tap the matching address at the top.
A map appears with a button that says "view routes". Again, you are forced to tap the button "view routes"
You get a map with one route highlighted and preselected which I believe is the shortest distance and a "Leave later" and a "Go now" button…
