  1. Open up Waze to developers so we get third party plugins!

    Would be amazing if Waze allowed other developers to integrate their software AND hardware to use with Waze.

    Escort radar has their own app where if you hold a button on their radar detector, it'd report it on their cloud to other Escort users that a police is spotted.

    However, having to have two apps loaded at a time makes it very difficult to catch alerts from both apps at the same time. Opening up an SDK or API on Waze and allowing other companies and developers to integrate with Waze would allow Waze to dominate the industry.

    I have 4 work places. In the application it’s only possible to subscribe ONE adresses for the work. It’s possible to note several adresses ? (

  3. When traveling across time zones, have the ETA show the correct time in the time zone you’re goi g to.

    We plan to work on showing the ETA with the correct time zone of your end destination in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

  4. Indicate toll roads on main navigation screen

    Because a tiny icon in the route summary doesn't cut it and is often missed!

    Also ability to show (in route summary) the cost and payment methods (cash, card, NFC, NPR, etc) of the toll road so you can plan ahead.

  5. Add "avoid border crossings" setting, just like avoid toll roads or ferries.

    Navigating from New York to Detroit, there's a route that crosses through Canada. I didn't bring my passport and wish to avoid this, but if I manually force another route, I might miss out on traffic-responsive optimizations. It should be possible to avoid border crossings just like any other route preference.

  7. Show bridge height

    Not once, I've heard of trucks getting into accidents by hitting a bridge that is too low to the vehicles height.
    Why not display the bridges on the route and their height to prevent those type of accidents?

  8. Enable the Difficult Turn setting to be time/day specific

    Today we have the ability to mark a turn as difficult, but we don't have a way to say it is only difficult during certain times of the day like during commute hours, or even to be only weekdays when there is commute traffic.

    The current UI could easily be updated to move the difficult turn box to the end of each row for the restriction. That way if an editor sets up a time for a restriction, it now becomes an option to be 100% restricted, or just difficult.

  9. Improved Google Assistant Integration on Android Auto

    The overall issue with Waze seems to be that the phone app is better built than the Android Auto app, which wouldn't be a problem were it not for the fact that it has led to borderline non-existent communication between the Android Auto version of the Google Assistant and the Android Auto Waze app. This problem leads to two main issues: drivers can't report hazards without taking one of their hands off the wheel and their eyes off the road unless they have a passenger on board, and if the driver uses the Google Assistant to ask for directions the…

  13. In honor of White Cane Safety Day, create a alert to drivers that notifies the driver a person using a white cane is ahead.

    A person with a visual impairment can log on to the app and WAZE will track the user as they walk.
    A driver using the app is notified when a person using a white cane is nearby.

  14. Turn by turn (next turn) panel too big

    Is there a way to make turn by turn (next turn) smaller in landscape mode. Takes up to much of display. Possibly be able to hide it until you are within a certain distance from the turn. (This is on a Note 3)

  17. Choosing personal max speed highway

    hello, I wanted to know if it was possible to set on Waze a maximum speed on the highway lower than the maximum speed in order to obtain the correct durations of the route. indeed I do not drive at 130km/h but at 110km/h. I don't know how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

  20. Saved places folders

    It would be nice if individual saved places could be saved in separate folders. Possible one for family, shopping, vacation, activities, etc. It would make it faster and easier to find a place without scrolling through my entire saved list.
