On an iPhone - If I starting entering a destination to search, the message will pop up asking me to resume navigation.
On an iPhone - If I starting entering a destination to search, the message will pop up asking me to resume navigation. I can't hit yes or no, because the keyboard is in the way. I need to hit search on the keyboard, then hit no, then go back and redo my search. This could be fixed by closing the keyboard when messages popup.

Treat roads with RTC as routable pedestrian path
Right now, when trying to route to a destination on a closed road, it's pretty much like the road no longer exists and Waze will route to the nearest open road.
Sometimes, this means that users will be routed somewhere completely different, like to the middle of a highway, to the other side of a raildroad track into a completely different neighbourhood, etc.
Segments with RTCs on them should be treated as a routable pedestrian path: route the driver to the closest entry point.

The startup / home / first screen should be a screen with favorite / recent destinations instead of the map
Each time I open Waze, it is to navigate to a destination.
So the startup / home / first screen should be a screen with destination instead of the map.2 votes -

Bug? After reaching destination while navigating, the map display is stuck in 3D 'driving mode' instead of reverting to 2D 'overview' mode.
With the 'auto' map display option enabled, which switches between 2D (when stationary) and 3D (when driving) modes, after a destination has been reached while navigating a route, the map display is stuck in 3D mode and does not switch back to 2D mode.
This makes it difficult to browse the map and select another route destination and only restarting the app solves the issue.1 vote -

Tasker intergration
Tasker is a automation system for Android based on profiles that contains states and actions.
For instance when Tasker sees the bluetooth in my car it begins to reject most calls, reads texts aloud me, and sends a automated reply. Currently that reply just says I will get back to them when I reach my destination. Waze knows that destination and my ETA. I would like to send that in the automated texts. I would also like for Tasker to be able to tell Waze a destination. Using this info it would also be possible for Tasker to…

It’s so hard to add a “what if” route…. Origin and Destination… why are they so hard to set for a future day/time?

When using Android auto to navigate to a destination, the last pop-up screen should have a time-out.

Only say "Driving home" when you specify Home as the destination
When you say "Home" for your destination, Waze says "OK, driving home to <address>." i.e. "OK, driving home to 123 Given Street, Some City, H0H 0H0. It would be better if Waze said "OK, driving home" so that anyone within earshot does not learn the driver's home address.

Manually adjust car starting direction on the map
It would be great to have a feature to manually adjust the car's direction on the map. Often, the app assumes a starting direction and plans the route accordingly, but it doesn’t update until you start driving in the opposite direction. It would also be helpful to define the side of the street when arriving at the destination, making navigation even more accurate!

Friends side panel is irritating
Friends side panel is irritating. I never use it and it gets in a way when I try manually zoom in: It's is super annoying when friends panel opens up when I try to scroll the map to get an I better idea where I will need to go while waiting on a red light with phone in a holder attached to a windshield.
It would be awesome if I could disable this friend panel at all!1 voteThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Follow friend.
Sometimes share one trip more cars (users). For example Business trip or holiday etc. it means two or more cars with the same destination. One of them knows WHERE to go (where is destination) and the others follow him. One car is the leader. In this case could be very useful to add feature called "Follow friend". In MENU where are Friends, add this feature (click on name of leading user and choose "Follow friend") and when the leading user accepts the request, he becomes as a "Moving destination" for user (users) who asked him. The other…

Why is your system so inferior to Google Maps? We did a side-by-side, and Google consistently was 30 seconds faster in giving direction??
Why is your system so much slower than Google (on a side-by-side basis)? Why does Google consistently suggest routes that, while maybe not quite as fast as your fastest routes all the time, are far faster than your #2 and #3 route, and which update much more frequently? Have you really looked at how competitive your product is versus them???

Big truck on side of the road.
Hello, would you consider: an option for "Big Truck" stopped on the shoulder? As someone who drives a commercial motor vehicle over a 130,000 miles a year, I can tell you that the majority of cars on the shoulder are abandoned whereas the majority of big trucks on the shoulder are broken down and or getting service at the time and there's usually a human being somewhere walking in and out of the highway at the truck is being repaired. With a little bit of notice, people will typically move over one lane to the left to allow…

Toll roads
When entering in a destination, please put the toll roads option there instead of in the settings. I am a driver in New York City. All day long, I would need to go into settings and check/uncheck toll roads. When I drive a passenger, of course, all the toll roads are taken, but when returning, I avoid as much as possible. Please change the tolls feature to somewhere when entering in the destination. Thank you

SPLIT: wake my phone/wake Maps from sleeping" when I am getting close to my destination
very often, I know the general way to my destination like 80% but I need Waze to guide me on the 20% remaining steps. If I set Waze to my destination, put my phone in the mount as I start, then start riding, it will drain the battery for nothing because I already know most of the way. If I put my phone to sleep, I ride, then I have to stop when I am getting close to my destination, take off my gloves, take the phone out, activate it, put it back, put gloves back, then drive.…
