Really it's a problem, not an idea. It'ssome monthes that i have problems to set destination with voice. Using two different devices (both android). Waze write the destination correctly, and show me the green flag. I tap on that, but it doesn't work well. 80 % I have to put writing and before making this I have to stop the ride before. Until some months ago it was enough to speak and Waze took the new destination or the stop as I liked.

On the car screen the Exit Route Button is on the right side, it should be on the left side to be closer to the driver.

Also the same for the button used to report things on the road.
The less time a driver looks away from the road the better, and looking and reaching farther away is never a good thing.

Treat roads with RTC as routable pedestrian path
Right now, when trying to route to a destination on a closed road, it's pretty much like the road no longer exists and Waze will route to the nearest open road.
Sometimes, this means that users will be routed somewhere completely different, like to the middle of a highway, to the other side of a raildroad track into a completely different neighbourhood, etc.
Segments with RTCs on them should be treated as a routable pedestrian path: route the driver to the closest entry point.

Only say "Driving home" when you specify Home as the destination
When you say "Home" for your destination, Waze says "OK, driving home to <address>." i.e. "OK, driving home to 123 Given Street, Some City, H0H 0H0. It would be better if Waze said "OK, driving home" so that anyone within earshot does not learn the driver's home address.

Tasker intergration
Tasker is a automation system for Android based on profiles that contains states and actions.
For instance when Tasker sees the bluetooth in my car it begins to reject most calls, reads texts aloud me, and sends a automated reply. Currently that reply just says I will get back to them when I reach my destination. Waze knows that destination and my ETA. I would like to send that in the automated texts. I would also like for Tasker to be able to tell Waze a destination. Using this info it would also be possible for Tasker to…

Friends side panel is irritating
Friends side panel is irritating. I never use it and it gets in a way when I try manually zoom in: It's is super annoying when friends panel opens up when I try to scroll the map to get an I better idea where I will need to go while waiting on a red light with phone in a holder attached to a windshield.

Allow to dial to a contact X time before reaching your destination (call your gate for example)
The idea is to allow "Actions" X time before reaching the destination.
e.g.
The ability to set Waze to call a smart appliance at your house X minutes before reaching your house.
In my case, I would like Waze to call my sim operated gate 30 seconds before I get to it so I won't have to dial to it and break the law.
People can use it to turn on the AC or the water heater at their smart home before reaching it.

SPLIT: wake my phone/wake Maps from sleeping" when I am getting close to my destination
very often, I know the general way to my destination like 80% but I need Waze to guide me on the 20% remaining steps. If I set Waze to my destination, put my phone in the mount as I start, then start riding, it will drain the battery for nothing because I already know most of the way. If I put my phone to sleep, I ride, then I have to stop when I am getting close to my destination, take off my gloves, take the phone out, activate it, put it back, put gloves back, then drive.…

Show which side of the street the location is on when you turn onto it
I would love for Waze to show which side of the street the location is on when you turn onto the final street. This would be especially helpful when there are two lanes to the road and you need to know which lane to be in.

when driving fast on highway, don't show side streets
When driving fast on a highway, the side streets and names clutter the screen and are not necessary. Removing them would probably also save data usage.

Please create a route delivery option that will guide drivers to The docking side of a building. This will save time for drivers.
As a route driver I often use Waze especially when visiting a new customer. I have noted that Waze will always guide one to the front of the building which is not always convenient when doing deliveries. I suggest that you create a “deliveries option” for people like me. Creating a second address option for each destination i.e guiding route drivers to the docking side of the building would save time for drivers that are often on tight time schedules. This option I believe may lead to increased user demand for Waze by people like me.

Follow friend.
Sometimes share one trip more cars (users). For example Business trip or holiday etc. it means two or more cars with the same destination. One of them knows WHERE to go (where is destination) and the others follow him. One car is the leader. In this case could be very useful to add feature called "Follow friend". In MENU where are Friends, add this feature (click on name of leading user and choose "Follow friend") and when the leading user accepts the request, he becomes as a "Moving destination" for user (users) who asked him.
