It’s a fabulous app, just to improve “speed limit sign needs size improvement, control to change make big.
Road Speed limit sign need to be bigger in size, driving at night time hard to see what road speed limit is.

Louder speed limit exceeded sound for moborbike riders
I can't hear the "speed limit exceeded" sound at all on my motorbike, so it is essentially not something I can use.
It would be nice if that was louder for those who have selected they are on a motorbike, to match the volume of the voice (or else, an option to make it louder).

Average speed
When entering average speed segment a "ghost driver" could appear in the green bar. It would drive at speed limit and user could gauge if on average they are driving quicker or slower.

Posted speed trap alert
Many streets have built-in speed traps. You know -- the speed is 40 mph, and is a sensible speed for that road, but then for no reason it drops to 25 mph for a half-mile (and there's no school, residences, sharp turns, etc in the road). These are all about revenue generation for the local municipality, and not about road safety.
I would like to be able to report a posted speed trap on the map (and the map should be able to identify many candidates for potential posted speed traps), and then after Waze through some TBD…

Overview of speed controls
Show an overview of all speed controls that you had on your way with for each control the speed limit and users speed at the moment of passing the control. Including the section controls as well, showing the speed limit and users average speed during the section control. So the user can see all the controls he had and were he drove above the speed limit (and so risks to receive a fine).

Recent change, now difficult to report speed limit corrections
Due to semi recent change of reporting UI, I find it very difficult to report corrections to speed limits.

Common hotspots for speed camera vans/ speed traps
To have common hotspots for speed vans or speed traps added to the map. This would allow users to be aware of common spots for speed camera vans. Yes shouls be doing the speed limit but at the same time we all go over from time to time especially areas we may not no or the change speed limits.

Optimal Speed Suggestion
If there's a big traffic jam at a point 2/3 of the way to my destination, it may not help me get there on time if I drive at full speed or over the speed limit up to the point of the jam. Waze could set my suggested driving speed lower for a more even pace over the course of the trip. In some cases, a lower driving speed may help me conserve fuel (and thereby create a smaller carbon footprint) and if many drivers use this we may see safer roads as fewer people speed around rushing to get…

Automatic speed adjustment
I made a patent for an interface between the waze and the vehicle in order to adjust the speed according to the speed limit on public roads , thus enabling a more secure , peaceful direction and within the traffic rules , minimizing risk of fines for speeding, car accidents and contribute to a better fluidity of the road . This device can be enabled or disabled at the discretion of the driver or the possible and future traffic laws.

Make the speed limit bigger and permanently visible on screen. I don’t like having to make it appear by driving a little faster
Can you make the speed limit stay on permanently. And bigger. It’s too small and takes a number of seconds (eyes off road seconds) to glance down looking for it. When unsure of the speed limit in areas where it changes a lot then the only way to make it appear is to drive faster and look for what point it flashes up. This is not safe. I would love it to just be there all of the time.

Maximum speed warning displayed.
When maximum speed is attained or exceeded, the speed icon highlights the maximum speed for a few seconds, however, the actual speed is then hidden for this duration. Knowing actual speed is vital as you might be 1km/h, 10km/h or even faster but cannot see until maximum limit adjusts to actual. Would be great to warn and display actual…maybe under limit, but smaller.

Can you set the speed "over limit warning" in the speedometer so that it plays the audible warning every time I exceed the speed limit? I'm asking because I've been using Waze to get around Bologna since they added the 30km zone and it's very useful to me. I'm asking you because it only plays the warning the first time and then for a stretch of the road it doesn't play it again, maybe it's set like this so as not to be annoying but I really need it to ring every time. Thank you.

You used to let us report Police -> Speed camera. For temporary speed cameras. Now we can only report police/visible or police/hidden. Not all speed cameras are permanent map features. Please reinstate this feature.
