Stop blocking excessive reporting
There are a huge number of pot holes in Sydney due to the floods and rainfall. I was reporting each and every one until I got flagged for excessive reporting noting my account would be blocked from reporting. If this is designed to be a community app, remove this feature blocking people so we can save damage to our vehicles and potentially save lives.

Improve road detection while navigating
When navigating along roads that have service/access roads, the navigation will want to enter the freeway/highway/tollway/etc. If the driver stays on the access road or exits onto the access road, Waze does not detect that and keeps the location locked to the planned route. If Waze wants to route you onto a freeway/highway/tollway/etc. and you do not take the on-ramp, the app locks onto the planned route and thinks you are on the highway.

New Functions for Linking External Provider Locations (Google Pin)
In the past, the WME PIE Script provided a valuable feature that allowed us to directly view the exact location of a place on Google Maps overlaid on the Waze map. Recently, this functionality was removed at Waze's request.
Most editors, including myself, consider this feature essential. Taking this opportunity, I suggest we request improvements to this linking tool. Below are some current issues and proposed solutions:

"Stop running in the background" switch on iOS
Hi. I found that Waze continues to run and use GPS and 3G signal while backgrounded on the iPhone. This is catastrophic in our country for two reasons: 1. It keeps the phone very hot. 2. it uses data at about 0.15 USD/MB, thereby ticking down your data and using up your money. I request this idea a lot but it seems like no one listens and Waze team completely ignores it. We need stop signs and traffic lights on the map. All navigations in the market already has it expect only Waze, I don't know why they don't want do it or difficult to them to do it! I can't understand, these things its really very important for the drivers.

I wish that there was a better way to handle toll roads. I live in an area surrounded by toll roads. It is cost prohibitive to use them all of the time. It is critically necessary to use them at other times. Unfortunately, you can have either of these situations several times in a single day. CarPlay volumn
Hello
I am so grateful that Waze now works with CarPlay on my new Mercedes E300. I noticed that Waze will reduce the volume of other apps on my iPhone, so that I can continue to hear the other app in the background as Waze provides navigation.
However, Waze appears to connect to CarPlay via the car's navigation volume control while other CarPlay apps connect to CarPlay via the car's entertainment volume control. Consequently, CarPlay stops other audio while Waze makes navigation announcements.

Stop automatically rerouting to Waze's preferred route
Your selected route should be "sticky" or require permission to change.
Waze is great, we all know that. But there is one issue that is almost service-breaking. When I select an alternate route, as opposed to waze's preferred route, if I make one minor change (such as backing out to the left when Waze expected me to go right), Waze will put me back on its preferred route.

Improve routing server system
Help customers by giving consistent, high-quality service through your routing server.
I am a long-time user of Waze and I live in Dayton, Ohio. In more than one quarter of my travels, Waze fails with a "routing server timeout" not just once each time, but repeatedly until I stop trying. Grrrrr.
The failure rate is even higher when I travel outside of the Dayton area. Please fix your service or redesign the routing server logic.

Mark bus ticket checkers
There is no function to mark ticket checkers at bus stops. I’m a driver, I see them all the time and I like to tag them. This is a very useful feature for passengers, could be in the settings to be able to disable tagging for anyone who doesn’t need it.

Toll Roads - Certain Toll Roads
Hi
It would be great if we could select certain toll roads that we do and don't want to travel on. In Sydney Australia we have many different toll roads, some offer cash back and most don't, some are distance based toll road and some are fixed price regardless of the length of the road. With the distance based toll roads an entry point a few hundred metres apart can cost you a couple of dollars every trip, multiple that a few trips every day then every week it will quickly add up!!

Fix Bluetooth bug
IPhone 6 voice guidance stops connecting to car's Bluetooth and cannot be restored or connects and interrupts audio with silence. Until this is fixed, the app is pretty useless. Worked for a week or 2 before it stopped. Deleted and reinstalled and it worked for about 30 minutes before quitting again. Is BMW in case that matters.

Preview the " Leave Later " routes & modify " Add Stop ".
When planning a day of adventuring, sometimes I may already know how to get to my 1st destination, after that it is all up to GPS navigation !

I like to know ( and find it helpful ) what the routes between destinations will look like, especially if it full day or days of travelling.
Eg; I will leave home and arrive at Point A without GPS, let's see where I'll be travelling through to get from Point A -> B, B -> C etc

Stop automatically reading contacts and sending sms messages without express permission.
It is very sleazy to "harvest" or contacts and down then with text messages. You never asked express permission to do this. It should only be something you offer to opt into for specific contacts.

Add "time to park" in calendar synch.
I have several meetings to drive to every day. Some take 15-20 minutes to park and get to the meetings. I would love a field to add that parking time, to better calculate the "time to go" function. I could use a fake time in my calendar, but with multiple meetings in a day one others relying on my calendar, that doesn't work well.
