A new route suggestion
I would like to have a route suggestion that is "no traffic and no stop lights".
I'm driving a stick (manual car) and prefer to drive longer but to be "on the move" rather than get there faster sitting in traffic or stop lights.1 vote -
Big rig route options
I work for our local FD. Over many years there have been numerous big rig accidents on heidi circle in scott Louisiana. They are taken that route via GPS to a particular location and the turn down there is impossible for big rigs and they always slide into the ditches and flip. A route option for big rigs would be great so it prevents further numerous issues. There were 2 incidents there yesterday alone! Some of these can potentially carry hazardous materials making the situation even more dangerous!

Best route for large vehicles
Hi and good morning. I am a firefighter in the UK and I use was to help me fine an address via the postcode given to us by our call handlers (control). Waze gives us the best route when driving a car NOT a fire engine. Will there be an update so that bigger vehicles can find that fast and easy route?

I want to give waze the routes I want to use for my commute by drawing them on a map & have it show me those route not the ones it selects?

Either draw it not the route map or enter a list of routes under my commute routes. Learning does not seem to be accurate or quick. I have done my route for 14 years I know the options it would be easy to draw a main route and set option segments. This would make the tool much more appealing quickly and more useful with less…

Allow me to define my daily commute route and show a look-ahead summary of any speed traps or accidents for entire route
When I leave to go to or from work, I would just like to see a summary that tells me if there are any speed traps or accidents along the route. Distance to the incident would be a plus, as would an audible alert when I am within a mile or two. I ride a motorcycle so interacting with the waze app while riding is impossible.

Option to switch to a different route
If a road is closed or very congested it would be great to have a way to tell Waze to calculate an alternate route. This could also be useful if the driver wanted to avoid a part of the route for any reason. One way would be to have a "change route" button. Another would be to have a setting that specified after # number of commands are ignored a new route would be automatically calculated based on the direction you are currently going. We just had to put up with about a thousand "make a U turn"…

Cortège mariage (Wedding processions route
Here is my idea why not create a tab specifically for weddings to follow the route of the procession or the car of the bridegroom to not lose during the procession.

Opt out of certain alerts in route
I would like to be able to opt out of certain alerts in route. I have no interest in moderate or heavy traffic. I have a lot of interest in accidents or standstill traffic. Yet all are lumped together and I have to check every "red" dot to see if there is a real traffic problem rather than a minor inconvenience.

Cheapest route (including the cost for my time)
Sometimes I want to take the fastest route possible, but most times I want to take the cheapest route. By cheapest route, I mean one that includes a cost for my time as well as fuel, depreciation, and tolls.

Location vs route in search
It's super annoying that when I search a location, if I've never navigated to it, I can tap on it to see its info card, where if I have navigated there before, I can only start a route to that location. The only way for me to see the info card is to search and then look around the map for the location I want, if it even finds it, and tap on the map. The listed results should be just locations, unless you've navigated there recently, then show two options, one to route and one to see the info…

Please do not route onto Guinea Road in Brewster
Very often when traveling north on I 684 towards Brewster, NY, WAZE will suggest, as the quickest route, a route that travels on Guinea Road in Brewster, NY. However, Guinea Road, esp. in its southern portion, is a very narrow road, with no dividing line, and many blind spots. I do not like it when I am the only car on it; if scores of drivers used it, it would even be more dangerous.

Adapt to my route/Back blocks
So when I put direction in and I do not take the route Waze is providing (sometimes route is longer because they take main roads/streets) I would like for Waze to ask me should they keep this route for next time I go to same destinations. When we live in an area or are familiar with an area then we typically know what some refer to as “back blocks” or small blocks that cut away from traffic/road closures and/or saves time! Make the button to turn off the route easier to locate--it should be big and on the map. So many times I have to click through to discontinue the trip.

WAZE changing my usual route
I just wish WAZE would let me know the reason why it wants to change my usual route to something different. I was working 30 min away from home and one day it routed me in a different direction. Turns out, at the 20min mark was an accident and it had the traffic stopped. Just wish it told me the reason why.

PREVIEW my frequent route and give me an overview
Let me store common routes (commutes, etc), then when I'm ready to leave for work or leave work for home, Waze would 'preview' my route and automatically send me a txt or email with an overview....i,e., "traffic heavy on I-275, suggest US-23 instead" or "high police activity on I-94, suggest M-22 instead"... it could even be time based where it would automatically send if it's a normal commute day so I know if I have to leave earlier to make it in time.

Look up and add a stop on planned route for coffee, food or gas.
While on a planned route, have the option to select food, coffee, gas that is shown on the planned route, in the direction you are driving.

UI Update For Better Visualisation Route Alternative
There is a UX/UI design issue in the software after the update to version 5.11.5.1.
Before this version, the route options screen was larger and better organized, allowing a complete, simple, and practical view of all three route alternatives after defining a route.After the 5.11.5.1 update, the route alternatives display became smaller and narrower, with larger fonts, forcing users to scroll through the reduced screen area in order to select a route while driving. Option for pedestrian route?
I use Waze for driving, but occasionally need some direction on walking/running routes. It's only slightly different but might be a nice option.

Waze can currently direct your partial walking route when it’s a part of a drive or carpool.
We are currently not planning on adding walking mode for complete routes.
