Android Samsung galaxy note 3 multi window feature.
Would love to use it with other apps. This limits me to only use one app. With Google maps I can listen to YouTube or a music app while I see and hear directions. Thanks.

Tammy Dombeck - The Gridlock Buster
I am nominating my beautiful bride Tammy Dombeck to be one of your voices. Tammy was the Traffic reporter on the NBC affiliate in Dallas-Fort Worth for 14 years. After she left, she spent 3 years at the CBS affiliate as their morning and afternoon traffic reporter. We live in Fort Worth and I commute to Dallas during the week so I have been using yoru app for a couple of years. Love it. What I do miss is seeing and hearing Tammy give her traffic reports. I also am guessing that there are thousands and thousands of people here…

Long words in UR's disappear/break - Waze App
Recently, "long words in UR's disappear/break" was fixed in WME map, allowing the editor to see an entire URL posted in UR conversation.
This feature wasn't implemented in Waze app, making impossible for the Wazers to see an entire URL posted by the editor, like the URL to access the Waze Support or Wazeopedia websites.4 votes -

Client Suggestion: Voice Recognition
I was driving from Las Vegas, NV to Fullerton, CA this past weekend. During the trip, I had a few hours to think of what client upgrades could be implemented into WAZE. Specifically, as the title of this thread suggests, I thought about Voice Recognition. This came about as I sent a report, but was unable to type a comment, thanks to texting and driving dangers.
Here is what I was thinking:
Voice Recognition would always be active while WAZE is active. Instead of pushing a button to activate Waze, what if a keyword was programmed to start the functionality.…233 votesGreat thinking! The issue you raised has been addressed in a recent redesign. Hope you like it!

Remove ads for editors with 3 or more cones
While ads are understandable to offset the costs of the servers and support necessary to make the app a successful one, it would seem that those who volunteer a healthy amount of time to edit the map should be exempt from viewing them, since they are already contributing to the Waze app. I suggest 3 or more cones, as this takes more time than just a week of editing, and would narrow down the pool enough that it wouldn't have much effect on Waze's advertising base.

How awesome would it be to have Deadpool telling you what to do?! There hasn't been a special voice since C3PO and he would be a great one :) I love the special voices!

"Change orientation” button. Notifies waze that the orientation of the car is the opposite than what waze thinks
Effective when coming out of a parking spot for two reasons: 1. To correct waze when noticing it is wrong. 2. If one can come out of the parking spot to two different directions, the button allows checking which way will consume less time, and choosing the direction appropriately.

Pause playback during audio alerts (for audiobooks)
Currently the Waze sounds turn the volume of whatever is playing the background down, causing me to miss words of audiobooks. Add an option for "Audiobook mode" to pause playback during Waze alerts/navigation voice.

Please add 3D touch capability for home/work/favorite location under Waze home app. It would make it much quicker to navigate to most frequent places on iOS.

Don’t let stationary users perform status updates for police cars.
Make it so that you need to be moving in order to click that a cop car is no longer there.
Don’t let stationary users perform status updates regarding the fact that a police car is in a spot or not. Once you do this, cops will stop watching Waze to undo what drivers are reporting so that they do t get noticed.
Please.
We will trust the app 1000% more!!! Word will spread.

- afficher la limite de vitesse surveillee par le radar de vitesse
- annoncer si depassement de vitesse et vitesse limite.
- manque avertissement a l'approche des radars de feux rouges.
- icone radar peu visible sur le plan il faudrait les metrent en surbrillance à l'approche (l'appli Glob fait tres bien tout cela sauf qu'il n'y a pas de navigateur !) (La communauté Glob est plus belge que Francaise)

- afficher les limitation de vitesse sur la portion de route en cours de parcours.
La communauté des wazer roulant en moyenne aux alentour de la limitation de vitesse…

Allow a longer delay before voice prompts
When using my iPhone with bluetooth handsfree kit, I miss the first word of each prompt while the kit detects bluetooth audio and mutes my radio in the car. Please increase delay between starting the announcement (or add a selectable option to do so) to overcome this problem.

Add option to add sound decibel readers
NYC specifically in the 5 boroughs of new york as well as a couple of other states started a program for sound decibel readers to be installed through out the city in other words noise cameras for cars and motorcycles. NYC has always been a loud place so this is un necessary. It is also not right towards cars that come from the factory stock such as scat pack chargers, hellcats, mustangs, harley davidson motorcycles, sports bikes, As well as many super cars. I'd like to move the car icon out of the middle of the map in order to see more of the upcoming route and less of what's already passed. Specially when using Navigation since it the ETA status window takes up a reasonable portion of the screen. For instance: if I'm driving southeast my car icon should be displayed in the upper left hand corner (when using True North mode) but the same applies when in the relative mode. Thanks

Play a preview of how the voice will sound when selected so that we will know what it will sound like before setting the voice.
