Alternative Route
1) Would like to input "Avoid this city/area". For instance Chester,PA supposedly has a "body challenge = body count" confirmed by the Chester Police Dept. where random people in cars are being killed. Would be nice to be able to avoid this city/area if I-95 is closed/blocked. 2) ALSO, would be great to log in an alternative route and SAVE IT with a name you choose. Thx so much! I LOVE Waze. Waze rocks!

When returning rental car to airport, Waze to ask "do you want to stop for gas?"
Traveler returning to airport to drop rental needs to stop for gas. Waze to ask "do you want to stop for gas?" and provides location of close stations

Waze Support for the Parrot Asteroid
The Parrot Asteroid is a great car stereo based on android, however the unique nature of the device limits it's online apps to those that specifically support it. Currently the Asteroid has no turn by turn navigation. Waze's powerful mapping and reporting features would greatly benefit users of the Parrot Asteroid and raise awareness for both Parrot and Waze.

It would be really really cool if we can add our car information like how much fuel consumption is using weight and stuff like that and to calculate how much fuel should we need or fuel i meam if you could make that i think the people would like that a lot.

Addind a "Facing the opposite direction" button
When I get to the car, many times Waze suggest a route in the oposite direction of how the car is parked. This causes a major time loss as the app needs time to realize I'm headind the opposite way, recalculate and offer a new route. Therefore a banner "facing the opposite lane?" is necessary and would upgrade the app signifully.

Setting the Car’s direction when starting the app and navigation is a known matter which will be addressed in the future.
There are many complexities in location tracking which cause this issue and hold us from providing a solution.
It’s currently on the back burner, but definitely a part of the backlog. -
Install a button to Report desable car
Several times a back up is create by a desable car on the road and because Im driving is to complicate to chose road hazard and also tape desable car.
For that reason I think a fast way to report this type of events will help all wazers3 votes -
Wave Hazard Spam
I have my sound option on Alerts Only and I get spammed w/ hazards and would like the option of turning off hazards, not only on the screen, but also on audio. I commute 45 minutes to work and 45 minutes home in Denver. I must pass 5 cars on the side of the road each way, and being on a freeway, it's more annoying than helpful, add in construction, red light cameras, and snow,, and the amount of alerts becomes annoying, especially as each one mutes my audio-book or Pandora and thus I miss a few lines in my…

Allow a longer delay before voice prompts
When using my iPhone with bluetooth handsfree kit, I miss the first word of each prompt while the kit detects bluetooth audio and mutes my radio in the car. Please increase delay between starting the announcement (or add a selectable option to do so) to overcome this problem.

Police and Accident indicator easy access for Car Play
For Car Play, instead of digging through the menu for the police or accident indicator (unsafe/distracting), based on screen size (or configurable), need those buttons on main screen instead. These are the 2 best features, and will make it easier for users to report with little overhead and improve Waze as a tool.

Make Waze more useful for buses and trucks. So i can choose that i drive one of those vehicles and not just between only a car, taxi or motorcycle. And can specify how tall the vehicle is. And Waze then navigates you so that you arrive without suddenly arriving at a bridge that is too low, for example

A button for HOV or non-HOV
There should be a button to tell Waze whether the car is in the HOV lane. 1), it would help Waze better determine traffic speed since it wouldn't average Wazer's in the HOV lanes with the speeds of those driving slower. 2), the Map would/could show the average speed of HOV or non HOV speeds. A Wazer in the HOV lane could really impact the accurate speed average shown (and vice versa).

Seasonal car icon
Last night I changed my car icon to be the bulldozer, my children have suggested it should be carrying pumpkins instead of tomatoes at this time of year and maybe Christmas puds in December.
