Only report and show hazards / etc on your side of the road
When viewing the map or receiving alerts, add an option to only report items on the side of the road you are driving and/or you are routed on. As a "reverse commuter" I constantly see hazards on my route but they are usually on the other side. It makes viewing the map for issues very difficult, almost unusable.

Umweltzone/environmental zones
In many countries in Europe environment zones are popping up. In these zones you can only drive if you have a sticker showing your car create less pollution than certain levels.
For instance, inner München is off-limit to older diesel cars.
You should be able in the app to indicate what label, if any, your car have, then not be routed into forbidden areas.

Tripit Integration
Wouldn't it be cool if Waze linked to the Tripit.com API and was able to pull out all of the places I had meetings in a day. That way I could get a feel in advance for the travel time I might require to drive. Also I wouldn't have to screw around copying each address over for every trip, Waze would just be aware of the addresses.

Geotagged event triggers
Allow the user to define an event such as playing one of your own sounds, display one of your own photos or play a music track at or near specific places. Example uses - get onto a fast stretch of road and your music changes, and changes back when you get into town again. Get a mile from a toll booth and a note appears telling you how much money to have ready. Drive near a grocer and your recording says "don't forget to get the eggs". Audible alert needed to detour
Detour alerts need to be spoken; when driving we cannot always stop & read the alert until it is too late & are stuck in stopped traffic.

Allow to rename "Home/Work" labels or at least give option to hide the "Home/Work" icons displayed on the maps
Allowing to rename the Home/Work labels or give the option to not show the Home/Work icons on the maps would be a really useful option to help wazers keep their personal information private. For example I often have work collegues and clients in my car and whenever I drive near my home it's clearly labeled on the map exactly where I live. Waze Weather
Waze should have a weather integration where you can see local radar on the map as you drive (able to toggle it on/off). It would allow for real time weather and traffic updates.

Horse-riding
It would be great if you could mark yourself as a slow-moving hazard for other Wazers to be alerted to on their screens as they drive.
Imagine you are riding a horse on a narrow country lane. Considerate drivers slow right down when passing riders on horseback to avoid spooking the horses.
If you could declare yourself a rider on horseback, and had your phone with you then other Waze users could be alerted to your presence well before rounding the very last corner and needing to brake suddenly.
This could reduce accidents between horses and cars.

Zoom level resets after waze shows alerts while stopped
If I'm driving and set my zoom at a certain level and stop, waze shows nearby alerts... great! But when I drive again my zoom level is not what I've set it at. Also, please make the app show the alert on the side of the screen and put the pinpointed alert on the other side while in landscape mode. Sometimes an alert is useless without seeing it and currently the warning covers the map!

have client generate text file of all unallowed moves while driving to view on computer
I know the system technically does this automatically but I was thinking today as I was going through the cartouche fixing every intersection in my hometown, how it'd be handy if the client generated a text file showing all the things you did that you "shouldn't" have. Use phone orientation to determine initial driving direction
Problem:
When starting navigation from a stationary position, Waze often assumes my car is facing the direction of the road segment, not my actual heading.
This leads to wrong initial instructions — for example, being told to “turn right” when in reality I need to make a U-turn first because I’m facing the opposite direction.Proposed Solution:
Use the phone’s built-in compass and orientation sensors to estimate the initial heading of the vehicle when navigation begins.
In most real-world cases, the phone is positioned facing the same direction as the car (mounted on the dashboard or windshield).

Destination confirmation
. Destination always shown on map, may be on top of or in estimated time of arrival box, as a confirmation that correct destination has been entered? (Reason - sometimes Waze gives directions when driving that I personally would not have selected).

One step drive option - Skip all 3 current steps and just start the drive
Currently, when you are going to drive somewhere and you have the exact complete unambiguous address, you are forced to go through 3 steps after you enter the address.
you get a list with 1 matching address and some other non-matching addresses, from which you have to tap the matching address at the top.
A map appears with a button that says "view routes". Again, you are forced to tap the button "view routes"
You get a map with one route highlighted and preselected which I believe is the shortest distance and a "Leave later" and a "Go now" button…

When I’m driving I don’t want Icons coming up. To click on police, Pothole etc while driving is a deterrent. It’s dangerous & a Crash waiting to Happen. Stop this driving behavior Pleezzzee!!! Save a life ❤️

Can you make boxes while driving to press instead of those little strips
Sometimes the wrong one gets pressed and the boxes would be bigger, easier and quicker to press than those long strips, please consider
