Fix the north up bugs
If I've selected North up, I always want North up. Why are there always modes where north up disappears? For instance when I hit the home button on my console (2024 BMW) the Waze map decides to go direction up

Truck
Ok, so 6+ years ago it was in the too hard basket to make a truck route...
How about just collect data from people who want to add road closures to already set routes but so long as the vehicle type is set for truck/RV. Effectively it would be a clone overlay of map guides but over time with the community help it would create itself and within days to start with.
I would happily help through the teething issues within the first few months of individually adding closure roads to route if it meant that the route was more…8 votes -
Mandalorian theme
Can we get a mandalorian theme, with the armourer giving driving directions, when to go the correct way it’s confirmed with the armourers voice saying “this is the way” and maybe Kuiil saying “I have spoken”? also maybe Mandos ships as driver icon ?

Set up reminders before or after a journey
An option to set reminders before or after a journey. Eg, when you arrive 'Don't forget to turn the vehicle lights off'. Or when you start 'have you checked your fuel level'. My suggestion is that these are user set, with the option of selecting them before a drive

Would you fix the problem of no voice directions on iPhones please.
Something must have happened recently to delete the voice/sound on my iPhone8 Plus. No voice directions for maybe 2 weeks. Please fix this.

Allow Preference for Open Road Tolling (no more "Exit Cash Lanes" directions)
I'm getting very tired of being told to "Exit to Cash Lanes" only to be navigated right back onto the same tollway. Best I can figure, Waze is trying to avoid you getting a ticket for driving through open road tolling areas (at least here in northern Illinois on I-294) by telling you to exit to cash lanes, but there should be an option to tell Waze you have a transponder and are good to go for open road tolling (and the app will stop telling you to exit at every open road tolling area).

Directions at rotaries
It used to say take the third exit and now it says turn left. If you actually do that you would be going the wrong way on a one way street. The same thing applies to first and third exit. I first saw this in meridith nh. This isn't safe

More direct routes for emergency response services and fire hydrant locations.
Hi, I propose you look into a toggle option for navigation for emergency services organizations that completely ignores traffic regulations, stop signs traffic lights etc..
Emergency services need to take the fastest route while ignoring speed limits, traffic lights & signs.
It would be very helpful to have a navigation that made more direct routes that completely disregard these things and give you the absolute fastest route.
Also, it would be awesome if there could also be a toggle option to show fire hydrant icons / locations for firefighters.4 votes -
Add a simple Retry button after route planning fails
Often, I enter my destination right before driving.
Sometimes Waze fails to plan the route (because of weak signal or Wi-Fi/mobile switch).
This usually happens just after I start driving, so it’s hard and unsafe to go through many taps to try again in Android Auto.Please add a small “Retry” button on the error screen to try planning again with the same address.
✅ Safer – no need to touch the screen much while driving
✅ Faster recovery from short connection issues

Voice guidance only sound option
Allow users to disable alert sounds, but keep guidance instructions.
I like voice guidance, especially when waze directs me to do something weird in an unfamiliar area to avoid traffic.
I find all alert notifications extremely annoying, and do not use the app for that purpose. It would be nice to be able to disable the annoying sounds and keep the useful ones turned on.

Temporary Speed Limits for Road Works
I would like to suggest adding functionality to Waze that supports temporary speed limits on road segments affected by road works. This would work similarly to the current "Closures" feature in the Waze Map Editor (WME).
Reason for Request:
This summer, we have received numerous reports from drivers through the mobile app, indicating incorrect speed limits displayed on roads under construction. 1. It will be nice, for me, if i can have outer temperature in navigation screen during driving. I have old car which dont have this feature by default.
App can refresh this very often if outer temperature feature is enabled in app during driving (navigation mode)

Discontinue the Still There question!
Please discontinue the Still There question! Not sure exactly when this started but I have been using Wayz daily for almost 10 years and only noticed this popping up recently. It's not necessary! And it's distracting and blocks the direction info. Who cares if we are there or not. Of course we are there! You have to be there to click "Not there!". Please please either stop this or at least make it optional. If it is optional, please let me know how to disable it. Thank you.

Make an option to turn off suggested drives please
A lot of times when I’m selecting an address, waze will load one or two suggested drives on top of it and start navigating me there. I’ve driven to the wrong place several times because of this. We already have the “saved places” so it would be nice if we could turn off the suggestions.

find nearest branch
when I'm out and about, and want to find the nearest branch, of say, Citibank, I don't want to see "recent results" I want the nearest branch to where I am. Maybe even in the direction I'm going, rather than backtrack.
