Suggest route home after an event
Similar to how it will suggest navigation before a planned drive, it would be great if it could detect the end of a calendar event and suggest a route home.

Calander
The syncing of my calendar doesn’t work all the time. I have to constantly edit, reset the permissions over and over again before it’ll finally get all my calendar entries. It’s really annoying when I’m on the go.

Ability to name drive plan
The ability to plan the drive and get the notification to leave on time is super helpful but I wish I could name them without plan it in the calendar event to have it named.

Set up "Next time I'm passing this location" reminders
I propose an option to remind me of a task I need to do when I am close to a particular location... I set a reminder to pop up and/or a spoken notification when I am within a selected distance to a selected location... eg: Remind me to pick up new windscreen wiper blades when I'm in the vicinity of the auto spares shop....or...Remind me to drop into Tom's and pay him for my tickets.... This could be linked to my calendar though a sperate in app option may be better because calendars are for specific times and dates…

Too many "It's time to leave" reminders.
Waze has a neat feature to remind me to leave for a scheduled event.
Google calendar has a Busy or Free flag on every entry.
The ability to have Waze remind me to leave on only the "Busy" events would be good! Right now it reminds me for almost every event.1 vote -
time to leave airport
Currently when an e-mail reservation is received on my iphone/ipad in gmail, i don't know if it is gmail or waze that detects it and creates a calendar entry for the flights.
Waze incorrectly determines that the flight departure time is the time I need to be at the airport when in reality Waze needs to detect that it is a flight departure and that i need to actually be at the airport 1.5-2 hours before departure and thus the time to leave needs to be adjusted accordingly.

Automatically set an arrival time for 15 or 30 mins prior to my calendar events. .
People don't want to arrive at their destination at the time their event starts. An option in settings to automatically make your arrival time 15 or 30 mins prior to the start time would be extremely helpful.

Reminders for meetings should not include meetings on zoom
I've set up reminders for meetings on Google calendar and time to leave for meetings. Although it sounds like a good feature, there should be an option to not get reminders for zoom meetings.

Concept: Driving apps shouldn't remind people about their dead parents.
Why is a driving app (not even a calendar app!) reminding me about my dead father? Why is a driving app ignorantly involving itself in my family dynamics at all? Millions of people don't need a reminder about Father's Day.

Very annoying bug and a suggestion
Hi, I worte to you in the past and you ignoored,
BUG: When i click on the address field in Android calendar, all GPS related apps get it, i.e. MAPS, MoveIt, UBER etc. and take me there. Only WAZE sends a message: "something went wrong". This happens constantly. It is an API bug where the address is not forwarded from the calendar to the WAZE app. tested only on mobile. When I copy paste teh address, it works fine on Waze too.
2nd issue is that when there is no communication, i get an annoying messages instead of suggestion…1 voteThanks for reaching out. upcoming drives don’t show enough appointments
With the new update it is only possible to see up to about 3 planned/scheduled drives from calendar - as we share calendars in our family very often the place I am going is not one of the options - please bring back the feature to see all scheduled drives

Alarms instead of notifications
I love the "Later" option for planning trips but the reminder notifications go missed quite often. A few options would be great.
1. Make a Calendar event (or part of an existing one) so that reminder alarms can be used based on your default settings. If it would adjust to 15 mins (or user determined) before you need to leave that would be awesome.
2. Allow the user to set the time before you need to leave... getting a reminder saying "Leave Now" is not realistic... let us decide how much time we need before the "leave by" time.

When I arrive at my destination it just says “you have arrived at your destination” but it doesn’t tell me what the house number is.

It also does not say the house number at the top of the screen if I copied it from my calendar. It should be in BIG numbers at the top of the screen and say out loud “you have arrived.. look for 8212 amhurst st. 8-2-1-2”

Time to start driving to work
I would like to receive a notification every morning of the time I need to start my drive to work (depending on the traffic conditions and my location, of course). I know I can set it manually every day or set an "event" in my calendar that Waze will sync with, but it seems so basic and simple that I feel this should be a part of the app. With setting like days of the week when you go to work, time when you need to be there, respect state holidays toggle, etc.

Time to Leave Reminder to include time for parking
Would very great if we could add the option to configure reaching earlier (say 15 mins) before our calendar event to account for parking time? That would mean the time to leave reminder would account for the parking time and tell us to leave even earlier.
It would make more sense if we didn't reach our destination at the time the event starts cos we wouldn't have enough time to park and walk to the event! Thanks!

Waze is now broken in Android auto
Waze is now broken in AA. It no longer shows me destinations from my calendar like it was. It also no longer shows me options for destinations on my route. If I use the new categories, it doesn't tell me or show me how far from my route it is...I used to be able to see how far it was from my route. For an improvement, it should list all options with how many minutes they are off my route.

Make sure the Waze app can send location data even with the app turned off
Actually, in order to send traffic information data, waze App must be turned on even if without any routing. In my humble opinion it is a big obligation that for example, Google maps doesn't have.
If i well understand, there is already a privacy statement under the setting section, where the user is asked to send always localization data, but actually it is used only for calendar events. I would like to extend the localization data information also to improve the roads traffic pattern.

Please go to app Settings – Privacy – Location – Always on. If this setting is not available in app, please go to the privacy settings on your device and give location permission ‘Allow all the time’ to Waze. -
Bring back auto start route
My Waze is automatically starting when I start driving.
In the past it would check my calendar, if an appointment wit location is available it offers this location. Otherwise it would offer work/home as destination. After some time it started the navigation.Currently Waze is still offering a destination. But I have to manually start navigating (which could be a huge fine)
I saw some old complaints about this function. But please bring it back with a setting for the people who don't like it.

Improved Time to Leave Notifications
Time to Leave Notifications should consider where you would be at the time of leaving, if there is another place on the calendar before. Countless times, I am driving to my location, and while I am still driving I get the notification that I need x amount of time to get to my location. When I stop driving, I won't get the notification based on where I actually am, since it already gave me the erroneous notification when I was driving. I think this should be a specific option added to the settings menu for navigation.

Waze can synchronize with calendars and remind - alaram few minutes before the driver has to start his way. Many features can be used
- For example, you can tell waze in the morning that you need to be in a specific location in a certain time and it will remind you to start driving several minutes before.
- It can synchronize with calendars and manage you time schedules with reminders and alarams
