Make speed limit larger on apple carplay
I have read the responses to this issue. It seems to be a bot responding as:
Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already displays a speedometer, including both your driving speed and the speed limit for the road you’re currently on.
That is NOT the issue. Just remove the speedometer and make the speed limit LARGER. Like it appears on Google Maps, which owns Waze.

CarPlay Dashboard
With the iOS 13.4, Apple opened up the CarPlay Dashboard to accept 3rd Party Maps instead of Apple Maps. It would be awesome to have Waze replace Apple Maps on the main Dashboard!

Apple CarPlay shortcut for reporting a hazard
To report a hazard (ie pothole) requires 4 clicks. Would be great if there was a few one click shortcuts to report the most common hazards such as a pothole, police, and vehicle stopped on side of road. This would be much safer than fumbling around to report a pothole while driving.

Move "OK" and "Not There" options further apart on Apple Car Play
When some sort of hazard is announced while using Apple Car Play, there is the option to choose "OK" (I think) and "Not There". These options are stacked right on top of each other. Please put some space between them. I have many times chosen the wrong one. Sometimes I also find myself looking at the screen trying to land my finger in the right spot instead of watching the road. Please do better testing on Apple Car Play.

I would like to report a recurring issue with the Waze interface on Apple CarPlay, related to the ETA bar (estimated time of arrival, remaining time, and distance to destination).
I keep the app set to automatic mode, and my vehicle has a light sensor, so the map theme correctly switches between light and dark according to ambient brightness.
Here’s what happens:

Lower Waze's Age Rating on Apple App Store
Hello Waze Support Team,
I'm writing to suggest that you consider lowering Waze's age rating on the Apple App Store. Currently, Waze is rated 17+, while Google Maps is rated 4+.
Many young drivers and passengers could benefit from using Waze's features, such as real-time traffic updates and hazard alerts. A lower age rating would make the app more accessible to this demographic.
Could you please provide some insight into why the app has a 17+ rating and if there are any plans to re-evaluate it?

Have Android auto function like apple car play
When you connect to apple car play you can see the upcoming turns on the phone. When Android auto is connected Waze doesn't let you see anything on the phone and says to do everything on the car display. This is frustrating because there's no way to see past the next upcoming turn for android auto.

Add distance to routes in apple car play
When showing routes in apple car play, only the time to destination of each route is displayed. Please also add the distance of each route, which is a very important parameter for selecting the route.

Add iPhone music player for songs stored locally in my iPhone, not just for songs in Apple Music premium subscription
Currently, Waze for iOS/iPhone includes controls for Apple Music. But it only works if the user has a subscription to Apple Music. I have a lot of music that I own stored locally on my iPhone. But Waze cannot control the music player, unless it is controlling the paid/subscription Apple Music.

Bookmarks Import from Apple Map and GPS coordinates
I have many bookmarks in Apple Map and I would like to transfer them in a Waze, but:

Can’t see all routes on apple car play
When viewing route options, I can only select the first two options. If there are more route options they are hidden and unable to be selected in Apple Car Play. Scrolling down is not available in the UI.

Following the update of my Apple phone 12 Pr Max to IOS 16, currently 16.1 there is considerable battery drain and overheating of the phone
Eversince I updated my iphone 12 pro max to IOS is whenever I use Apple Carplay and especially WAZE the phone overheats significantly in a very short timespan and also the battery drops dramatically in no time.
Is Waze aware of this problem ? Are they doing something to fix it.
The same issue does not occur when I use other navigation software’s in Apple Carplay.Please fix it as I can not continue using Waze with such dramatic battery use and overheating of the phone!

Add a way to put Waze to sleep in Apple CarPlay
If I navigate with Waze in Apple CarPlay, it stays open on my phone and drains my battery unless I remember to go on my phone when I get out of my car and put Waze to sleep. Then the next time I get in my car, Waze starts up even if I don't use navigation and stays on on my phone when I get out of the car, again draining my phone battery. I am a daily user of the waze app. It is great!! I am interested to know when you will have it work on the Apple Watch.
I have used the Maps app on the iPhone recently that coordinated with my Apple Watch and it was a nice combination. My watch would vibrate when the next turn was going to happen and also show on my watch for a quick glance.

Make Carplay fully functional like the app on iphones. I am tired of trying to report a cop on the other side of the road and it just be reported on my side. Or being able to add comments/view comments.

Be able to interface from your phone like Apple iPhone
I really like your app and use it every day. My frustration is that I use a Samsung Android smart phone (I am not a fan of Apple iPhone's). Apple play works very well with your app. You can control your app from the phone or the car interface (basically the car mirrors the phone). With Android play you can't control the app or view the app from your phone. All interfaces have to be on the car not the phone.
