Have an OPTION for arriving on the same-side of the street as the destination.
This would apply mostly to cities but it could also apply in other congested areas. Arriving on the wrong side of the street in a city situation can be as bad as arriving several blocks away since in order to turn into the parking for the building you cannot crossover the heavy traffic or possibly a median. Instead you have to come up with your own way of circling around (and there may be many 1-way streets to thwart you) to get your vehicle on the same side of the street as the destination so you can park/drop…

Alerts on upcoming waysides (rest stops)
Ie.
Alert … wayside (rest stop) in 2 miles. Rest rooms, vending machines, dog exercise area. Next wayside in 60 miles (50 minutes) can you hold it that long?4 votes -
Please turn off the "You parked here" pop-up or at least give the option to disable it.
Stop trying to do too much!!! I don't need to know or share where I parked when I first start the app especially if I'm sitting in my car where I parked it. I want to enter my destination and go. If I want to share my location, I'll do so through the menu. Very annoying.

Be able to report Photo Radar Vans as part of reporting Police
In Denver, CO the Police have Photo Radar vans that park in different locations each day to catch speeders and send them tickets. In the WAZE app, you can only report police hidden or visible. It would be nice to be as specific as reporting the photo radar vans too.

Allow the ability to specify the location of a report.
When reporting an issue, crash, traffic jam, fire, Police activity, the system only gives you the option to report on the road you are on. So for example, if you are at an interchange where you can see the activity on a highway or interstate, but you are not on that road, you can't actually report it properly. parking lot landmarks / traffic analysis
I would like to see certain landmarks not count as traffic analysis. If an area is marked as a restaurant, parking lot, gas station, etc.. the time a waze client spends there should NOT count against traffic analysis. Wazers can't be expecte to turn their nav system on and off just to order a burger, or fill up the tank. In reality, a nav system should be as "hands off" as possible for the daily commute. start waze when you get in the car.. go on your trip, pull over at the gas station and leave waze running. go…

Integration with parking apps
I think it would be cool if you could work in integration with Ringo and Paybyphone and similar apps so it's only one button between arriving at the end of the Waze route and purchasing parking time - Waze should obviously be able to recognise the car park based on GPS but can always load it up ahead of time when you navigate directly to a specific carpark - maybe it could warn you about other nearby parking zones so you make sure you're selecting the right place

Time-based Map Topology
In Washington, DC specifically, and in other cities around the United States (and probably around the world), certain turns are illegal between 7:00-9:30 am or 4:00-6:30 pm. More challenging, Rock Creek Park - a major commuter route that is often utilized by Waze - allows southbound traffic only between 7:00-9:30 am on mon-fri, and northbound traffic only between 4:00-6:30 pm on mon-fri. Waze is unable to factor in these restrictions, and becomes of limited usability during these times. Its really frustrating for me, and my partner. Please, please, please fix this? Add option to search parking around the destination
Add option to search parking around the destination: when starting the navigation we will be asked if we want to go to the adresse or to the nearest available parking. Thanks!

Parking Meter Risk alert
Use crowdsourced data on where and when people see meter maids or get parking tickets so users know the risk of not paying a meter at that time and place. For example if you need to stop into a place for 20 minutes or less, and the risk of ticket is low, you feel better not paying the meter.

Add a NEW 'Police Notice' flag for the "MIDDLE" of the road!
On Waze, when flagging a Police, there's currently a 'POLICE' flag, for the current road side you're on; 'OTHER SIDE' flag, when the Police is on the other side of the road; but NO 'MIDDLE' (of the road) flag!
There are many instances where Police park (or hide) on the middle of a two-way route or major roadway.

Handicap vehicle type
Iin addition to the existing types of vehicle (private, taxi, motorcycle), it would be good to have one for people with reduced mobility.
This would make no difference in navigation compared to a private vehicle.
The only difference would be the display of disabled parking spaces near the destination.
This could be a big help in a large car park, shopping centre car park or simply on the streets to help them find their reserved parking spaces.
I think there would be no problem marking these parking spaces in WME, either centrally, like EV chargers, gas…5 votes -
Get a parking space from another wazer
In metropolitan areas or popular parking spaces can be useful having a slot from a leaving wazer. The mechanism could be similar to that of the pick-up feature, maybe with credits to "buy" or "sell" a parking slot.

Time to Leave Reminder to include time for parking
Would very great if we could add the option to configure reaching earlier (say 15 mins) before our calendar event to account for parking time? That would mean the time to leave reminder would account for the parking time and tell us to leave even earlier.
It would make more sense if we didn't reach our destination at the time the event starts cos we wouldn't have enough time to park and walk to the event! Thanks!
