Integration between Waze and car features.
Some cars already have the integration between waze and its onboard system, I believe this functionality can be exploited in the best way.
How to apply the improvements:
Speed: If the speed is higher than the speed of the road, the application along with the car system changes the speed of the CAR in colors such as green (below speed), yellow (speed near the limit), red ( speed above the limit).Petrol Stations: Check the percentage of gasoline in the car and inform the nearest gas station (thus the propagation would be more effective, since it would be a user…

Report Drivers
We should be able to report when there is a crazy driver on the road. I just had a lady tailgate me, swerve around me, cut me off, and proceed to tailgate other cars in front of me. Having a feature to report this would be helpful for safety reasons.

Add a general route view to Waze in Android Automotive (AAOS) in cars with two screens available (similar to Google Maps for Android Auto)
Add the possibility to see the general route view in the main car screen, while having the navigation route view in the screen behind the steering wheel. In this way, it is possible to make use of the two screens in the cars - one showing the navigation, the other showing the overall route (as it is available on Google maps for Android Auto). Thanks

Tried Waze on IOS 12 with CarPlay. (I am beta testing Waze). Works great. Two things I notice. You cannot see on the cars screen all the turns you will be making, you have to look at your phone (not safe for driving. Also cannot say OK Waze to send a report.

Implement a setting for winter tires with studs and help the driver to avoid forbidden streets. In urban areas in the Nordic countries it is becoming more common that local politicians forbid driving cars with winter tires with studs on some streets with high pollution. When creating a route to a destination, Waze do not take into account that some of the streets may be restricted due to this. This is becoming a problem since the driver need to be a local to know where not to drive. Signs showing the restriction are always present but will be noticed too…

Android Auto - Use Car Antenna
Right now, when connecting to Android Auto, Waze still uses the phone GPS antenna. In comparison, Google Maps pulls the location from the headset/car antenna, which is often placed optimally to maximize GPS signal strength from within the car.
Please set Waze to use the car's GPS antenna when connected via Android Auto

Police car (camera hotspots) or patrol car hotspots
I know people generally tend to post where police cars are, but this can sometimes be inaccurate due to them moving around (highway patrol and police camera vehicles). Maybe a highlight on the map where reports are generally made frequently

Umweltzone/environmental zones
In many countries in Europe environment zones are popping up. In these zones you can only drive if you have a sticker showing your car create less pollution than certain levels.
For instance, inner München is off-limit to older diesel cars.
You should be able in the app to indicate what label, if any, your car have, then not be routed into forbidden areas.

An option to avoid minor / tertiary/ un named roads
Can we please have an option for routing not using minor roads. These are often narrow, unsurfaced, roads, dangerous tootor cyclists, risking damage to cars and larger vehicles. GPS nav should assist, not cause undue stress.

CB-like push-to-talk button to talk to wazers around you in an adjustable radius area or on the same road. This would be a very used feature in Romania, where CB transceivers are very used in cars. Many people who do not have a physical one would use the Waze alternative, and many would switch from physical CB to waze.

Please add the number coding scheme option for your users in Metro Manila Philippines. This will help users to fully optimize the use of their vehicles during "coding day." This will also help users avoid purchasing second or multiple cars to avoid the coding. The volume of cars here does not match the capacity of our roads.

support "car camera" mode
today, a lot of drivers buy a car camera. we can save it by adding this feature to waze.
the phone is already mounted aiming at the front of the car, and we can also recor sounds inside the car.save last 3\5 minutes. ON\OFF from settings, screen button to "save video".
permenantly delete older files not to use a lot of disk space and dont use the best camera option (3 min. of 4K is a lot!). option to save to internal memory\SD card if available. option to "share" the file to gmail, google drive etc.63 votesGreat thinking! Electric car planning with chargers and battery info
I would like to use Waze like ABRP. For me Waze is the best GPS software to drive my car with. But nowadays I have an electric car and need to plan my trip with the battery level and consumption and the available electric chargers on my way. Parking spaces available in car parks in real time
Several cities around the world have a real-time feed of available spaces in their parking lots.
It would be really relevant to be able to have it in Waze so that we can be guided directly to the city center or bus/tram hub. Currently Waze allows you to get around perfectly, but concretely, once you arrive in town, it does not help you to park, so the purpose is not achieved in a certain way. It’s also a matter of sustainability. Waze should help for less time and gaz wasted.

If there's a flood report, it should have a feature to make sedan or small cars to not pass through it.

Shortcut to switch car types in iOS
It would ve nice to have an shortcut on apple to change car type quickly. As someone who drives a taxi and private cars and switch a lot. Maybe integrate it to apple shortcuts app or make it bluetooth connection dependable so it switches automatically when connected to a designated bluetooth source
