  1. Make the speed limit and speed bigger

    The speed limit and current speed are so small on the screen you can’t really see it when glancing - needs to be a similar size as the one on Google maps abs Apple Maps and make it so it’s easily readable

  2. Banner notifications

    I would be great if a banner notification would show if the app was running in the background and a turn was approaching. Apple maps does this, and if Waze did it, there would be no reason to use Apple maps ever again.

  3. editing maps as a non-user

    I don't have a car so I don't have the WAZE app. I want to prevent cars from entering our cul-de-sac street and want to edit your map, but I cannot because I am not a user. Please could you send this info to the correct person/ team. (I also cannot log in via google or facebook, there seems to be a bug)

    You cannot enter Rue Tivoli from Rue Andree de Jongh, there are blocks on the road at that crosspoint. These blocks are currently temporary, but will become permanent.

  4. Android Auto interface, select destination on map

    When long-tapping the Waze for Android Auto map, a location marker appears and the road is highlighted and that's all.
    I would like a "navigate to point" popup to appear, similar to google maps. Without this, it is not possible to navigate to a point highlighted on the map.

    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
    Android Auto Proected is a major focus for us in this year, and we encourage you to read more about it in the Android Auto forum for updates and latest releases.

  6. Reporting offline

    It would be great if the app could send the report when the network connection is back, instead of informing, that there's no network connection and the report can't be sent.

  7. Please allow typing when the car is moving (just as Google maps).

    Please allow typing when the car is moving (just as Google maps). The passenger should be able to modify destination (for example) while driving. It is not user friendly to force the driver to stop when destination needs to be modified.

    Sou Geógrafo da Prefeitura do Jaboatão dos Guararapes, responsável pelo Núcleo de Georreferenciamento do Cadastro Imobiliário para fins Multifinalitário. Alimentamos a Plataforma ArcGis Enterprise. Uma das tarefas é alimentar com a denominação de logradouro e sentidos de circulação na via. Tenho enviado contribuições para o Google Maps e Local Guides. É importante também corrigir o nome dos Rios. Já informei que o nome do Rio a Jusante da Barragem sobre o Rio Duas Unas (que forma o Lago da Barragem de Duas Unas) é o Rio Duas Unas e Google Maps não corrige e a BR 232 tem duas pontes…

  10. Show turn by turn navigation on the main car dashboard using carplay

    Google maps and Apple Maps have full integration with CarPlay showing turn by turn navigation on the drivers dashboard. Can Waze replicate that ? All of the them have this working with CarPlay and android auto, except for Waze…

  11. Autodetect closures and closed roads

    Waze should automatically detect closures and close roads without relying on Wazers to use the in-app closure function or on map editors to add them. Just as Waze can detect traffic and reroute, it could also detect when no one follows the directed guidance and there is zero traffic on a segment. Then when Wazer start driving on the segment again it could reopen.

    Google Maps (part of Google Geo) gets closure info from Waze. And Waze (part of Google Geo) should also get closure info from Google Maps. It doesn't now, and instead will route Wazers into a…

  13. Is it possible to display place names as candidates from information on Google Maps?

    Usually, I open Google Maps, pick up names, and write them down.

  14. Always choose WME items over Google Map items

    A place (area or point or residential) or House number entered into Waze Map Editor should ALWYS be chosen over a Google Maps import in Waze’s Search.

    This is very frustrating to users since they are often routed to the wrong location. It is also very frustrating to editors since their work to update the map is ignored. 

    If a person searches 123 Main St, City, State, then their search should show the 123 Main St, City, State (From WME) as the first item and not 123 Main Street, City State from Google Maps.  (With 133 Main Street, City,

  15. Stop reversing coordinates formats in Waze Live Map

    When you paste coordinates from Google Maps to Waze Live Map, what's long on Google Maps becomes Lat and vice versa. This is not the case for WME or Waze app. Can it be the same to facilitate search?

  16. Put stopping areas/bays onto maps

  17. Store reports created offline for short period. I.E. Police reports and accidents, see comments

    I travel a lot in weak cell service areas on major interstates. I will see an accident or Police situation when I have GPS but not network it says sorry you can't report do it later. However it might be 5 or 10 miles down the road before I can then the event isn't in the right location. Suggest storing the location information along with the time so that when network returns it can be posted.

  19. To mark street - Kids are playing

    Dear Waze Maps,

    My friends and I have come across a problem. This problem is kids playing on a community road/street. This presents a risk to kids , drivers , and property. For example , a kid who is playing on the road could get injured by a car hitting him/her. The car could also swerve and hit another car , injuring the driver and/or car. Another possibility is for the car to hit property like : signs , decorations , houses , or light posts.

    A person who is familiar with the road usually doesn't use Waze maps…
