Route planning fault
When planning a route that you are not at the leaving point for ie I’m at home want to plan a journey from my work to a meeting, route planner shows the right drive time but when you save it it defaults the starting point to your current location makes it useless.

Quand rien n'est signale on ne peut savoir si la route est dégagée ou s'il n'y a aucun waze pour avertir d'un problème

Location based and on route reminders
Often when I'm going somewhere I need to remember to take something with me, eg, a hand-me-down for my nephews when I visit my sister. But I always forget! Can Waze allow us to add reminders to specific destinations and remind us to bring the items when we put that destination into Waze.
Even better would be if Waze reminded us to bring all items we can drop off on any route we enter. eg, I'm heading to my sisters so Waze reminds me to bring the hand-me-down as above but the app also reminds me to take the recycling…

Optional Route Preview
The recent addition of a route preview that can NOT be turned off needs to be removed. I went from being able to efficiently go from place to place as a driver to having to stop and navigate my way through a maze of "here's this route over view. Here's that overview." If I want or need a new route, I'll go find one. Like I always did. At the very least, give us the option to turn that off. It's a waste of time.

Commuting route changes
I would very much like to have a mode that knows my usual daily commuting route and doesnt give turn by turn directions for this but starts announcing if something unuasal is up today, "waking me up" before I drive into the biggest traffic jam ever and gives me directions to avoid this then but only then.

show route number symbol
Please show route number symbol next to the route name whenever traveling on a numbered route (or turning onto one). Often Waze will give only the route name while the road signs sometimes only give the route number. Subaru in-car navigation shows the route symbol next to the route name and it's very helpful to confirm you are on a numbered route and see exactly what route you are being directed toward.

Automatic Multiple Stop Route Optimization
Lets say I want to stop by 8 tourist locations in Washington, DC but because I am new to the area I will have no idea how to route myself optimally....so it would be awesome if I could just put in the location addresses or names and have WAZE optimize my stops to be most efficient and effective.
Now that would be an awesome travel tool! Heck it might even work for pizza delivery guys too! ;)

This idea has been being discussed for a while and recognized as an important user request.
We hear the community’s voice and would like to share that while we can’t currently commit to a timeline, we do have plans to create a way to add more than one stop pre-drive.

Disable auto route to suggested destination
Often when I start my day, I'm not heading directly to the office. However, even after I enter a destination, I'll be prompted to navigate to "work". It will switch my destination without my input or any notification. Please turn off auto select for that navigation option. It's frustrating to think that Waze is taking me a traffic free route to find out it's navigating me to the wrong destination.

Share route from car screen
Add a button on the car screen to share route with a pre-selected favorite contact.
I only share route with my wife, but I do this everyday. Currently I must start and share the route on my phone before Android Auto connects to the car wirelessly. A simple button to share to one contact using one app (eg: Whatsapp) would be very useful.

Safest route i.t.o. crime
In countries like South Africa there are certain high crime areas that should be avoided. If you read the news there are frequent reports of tourists especially, taking a short route unknowingly through a dangerous area and becoming a victim of crime or worse being murdered (sadly this is true). It would be great if one could select a "safest route" option which may not necessarily be the quickest. PLEASE.

Never change my NON-TOLL route to a TOLL ROUTE without my explicit permission
We are on an extended road trip. We EXPLICITLY told Waze to avoid TOLLS. As you are driving along, Waze will pop up and suggest going the toll route because it will be faster, albeit, more expensive. If you don't happen to see the pop up and don't select "No Thanks", Waze WILL SWITCH IT AUTOMATICALLY to the TOLL ROUTE. If there's another setting to stop that, I haven't discovered it yet. You SHOULD NEVER EVER change my route just because it's faster without my explicit permission to do so.

It would be nice to have a feature to toggle routing styles when selecting a route.

Alert me when traffic lightens up on a specified route
I should be able to click on a route showing traffic and ask to receive an alert when the traffic lightens up on that route. This is good (for example) for people who have only one route home and want to know when to leave work without checking ease every five minutes.

Choose Route in Android Auto
When using Android Auto, allow users to choose from available routes, regardless if Avoid Tolls, Freeways, etc... is selected.
Route choice is available directly in the Waze app, however, when connected, Android Auto locks the Waze app preventing the user from accessing it directly from the phone (love that safety feature)!
Please allow users to choose a route when using the app, including tolls or no tolls.

Route away from schools at pickup & dropoff time
We've been noticing an increasing amount of Waze traffic near our local elementary school. It is dangerous for the kids who are biking to school (and not yet as reliable as adults) -- we have had three kids hit by cars in our small city so far this year. And I'm sure it is annoying for drivers -- we've seen a lot of folks swerving around slow cars etc.
I would love to be able to tell Waze the pickup and dropoff windows for our school, and have it automatically route away from the school (and ideally nearby streets).

A button in the application that allows you to record the route that waze is suggesting to you in high traffic hours, so that you can later use it as a routine route.

Junction/Intersection numbers without active route
I drive on the motorway quite a lot and most of the time I know the way so I won't bother with setting a route.
However it would be great if, without a route being plotted, that Waze would display in the top left "Approaching XX junction"
