Add direction to Gas station names
When updating prices for Gas statitions if there are two either side of the road you can't tell which is which. Sometimes they have differnet prices (not often I grant you) and its not possible to know which is which. If you added Northbound, Eastbound etc. would make it clearer.

Add directional arrows to list of search results
Please add directional arrows to search results. For instance, if I search for McDonalds the results shows me all the McDonalds in the area and how far away each one is. I would like to also know which one is in the direction I am headed so I don't go out of my way to what happens to be the closest.

When to start decelerate
Wazze now tells if we arrive to a city or other point where we should decelerate.
It would be nice, if wazze tells this on the exact point of time, when the driver should start decelerate. (Unpress the accelerate pedal.) So the car can go without any fuel. It would be eco-friendly.1 vote -
Turn by turn list directions
When using waze and android auto there is no way to see the turn by turn list of direction like when using the waze app alone. Also, my wife uses apple and carplay and as soon as she connects to waze via carplay her turn by turn list directions appear on her phone screen while the graphical interface of waze appears on the carplay screen simultaneously. Please provide a way to see the list of directions on android auto too. It is very important for planning a trip.

ask for the direction of the car before calculating the route
every driver had suffered from the common mistake WAZE makes while calculating a new route.
in a two way street WAZE doesn't always know to which way i'm facing, and the entire calculation is based on that direction (because let's face it - you're not so high on U-TURNS, unfortunately).
WHY WON'T YOU ALLOW THE DRIVER ANSWER (if needed) "to which way does your car face?"
it will improve time, calculation and driver's satisfaction!
PLEASE CONSIDER THAT SMALL YET HIGHLY HELPFUL FEATURE.

Setting the car’s direction when starting the app and navigation is a known matter which will be addressed in the future.
There are many complexities in location tracking which cause this issue and hold us from providing a solution.
It’s currently on the back burner, but definitely a part of the backlog. -
Add divided street option
Waze doesn't differentiate when a street has a median that blocks the ability to get to a destination. Add another option similar to elevation or direction but that requires Waze to navigate to the other driving direction for the street. This would allow editors to update Waze streets without having to split them for the same functionality.

Waze needs to remember start/destination. When I flag an issue, I can't recall because I route 30 stops a day
Have Waze keep in short-term memory or allow your volunteer troubleshooters to look at a full route when addressing a mapping issue brought to Waze attention by the driver/app user. I make 20-30 stops a day, and when I later get around to making a complaint, I cannot remember the exact order I made the stops to give your troubleshooters the original / destination. I've stopped pointing out mapping issues and driving direction problems because it is a waste of my time.

Locating fuel and restaurants
Why is it when I search for fuel or food, Waze will give locations in the opposite direction to where I’m traveling? If I’m traveling North, I don’t need locations that are south of my direction.

Indicate both start and end of roadworks / traffic
For users that mark the beginning or roadworks / traffic, leave up an icon that they can press to indicate the end of the traffic. From this, work out how long it took me to get through the zone and pass on the info to other users.

Police Car in the middle
On the open interstate highways in the USA the State Highway Patrol sit in the middle but I don't know which direction the police is shooting. If there is a "middle" option, it would alert Waze users of either direction. Not only one side of the highway

How about adding “N”, “S”, “W”, or “E” inside the blue direction arrow so travelers know if they are heading North, South, etc.

2 Ideas!
Hi, ive got two ideas: 1. When starting a new ride from a parking car, Waze does not know which direction the vehicle is facing. And because of Murphy's rules, most of the time it will plan the opposite route :) My suggestion is: before starting navigation I will have the option to calibarate the direction my vehicle facing (button that using the internal compass) . and now that Waze can understand that im facing east for example it can plan the right route. 2. adding an option so Waze know im driving a motorcycle so it can…
33 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already has Motorcycle Mode included in the app. To change your vehicle type, tap Settings > Car Details > Vehicle type.
As for the idea with adjusting car facing direction, it is under consideration.

Abbility to report start & end of SPECS.
SPECS cameras operate as sets of two or more cameras installed along a fixed route that can be from 200 metres (660 feet) to 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) in length.[3] They work by using an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system to record a vehicle's front number plate at each fixed camera site. As the distance is known between these sites, the average speed can be calculated by dividing this by the time taken to travel between two points.[4] The cameras use infrared photography, allowing them to operate both day and night.

Speed up Waze start or restart
I'm an Uber driver and use Waze all the time, however there are these confirmation screens (1) at a new route start that should be optional but are not. There is no point in showing the complete route everytime I start a new ride. It is enough having the button to show the whole map whenever I need to check the route. Also, whenever I restart Waze (2) he asks me if I want to
'continue' the previous route. Why asking this? Just resume the route and if I don't want it to resume I use the existing STOP…1 vote -
Report directions
Waze reports are currently often jumbled up and it becomes very difficult to determine which ones are relevant.
It will be great if the Waze icons could be located according to one's direction of travel.
For example all the eastbound icons could be below the road at all the westbound icons could be above the road.

ALWAYS starts me going the wrong way...
I have never once started Waze and had it tell me that I'm going in the direction my car is facing. There is no way to turn my car around when this happens (on the map) and sometimes because I can't do that, it makes it dangerous because I'm messing around with trying to figure out where to go. THIS is the single most annoying thing about Waze.

Always show number of Wazers
When you first start Waze it shows the amount of Wazers around you and then goes back to saying good morning or evening. As you move into different areas it's important to know if there are plenty of other Wazers still around.
Also if it could show how many Wazers are in front of you in the direction your travelling so you know anything that is in front of you will be reported. I currently keep restarting the app so i can find out which is really annoying.

Directional improvement
It would be a good idea to just have letters displayed for the compass. Sometimes it’s difficult to determine my direction and I need to focus mostly on the road.

Carplay speed limit
Hello, in the UK version of Waze on Apple Car Play, the speed limit is hidden by the direction box. Can you please put the speed limit on the top left of the screen and not on the right (as there is the direction box already).
