  3. Please skip the Go button and confirmation message when connnecting from external app. Learn from Google Maps, just go straight to the map.

    Je participe à des rallyes touristique et je me rends d'un point A,B,C,D,E... (D712, D37, D83, RF, D123, D723, D83B, D83A et bien plus encore ....) Passant aussi par des chemins forestiers et ayant des points de contrôle surprise, je n'ais pas trouver ou avez-vous la possibilité de comment faire pour choisir mes trajets sans proposition de trajet le plus court ou de meilleur itinéraire, et avoir en bas une échelle de distance.

  9. Make Waze a built-in app with Android

    It would be great to make Waze a built in app that comes shipped with Android and ready to be used right out of the box. Waze is owned by Google and something like that may be possible. This will make users in countries where Waze is not famous know that the app exists and make them at least give it a try.

    If this is not possible then maybe establish partnerships with smartphone companies to make Waze available as a built in app with their version of Android.

    Another suggestion is to rename the Waze app to something like …

  12. Drive plus walk

    Add option to find quickest route with additional walking. Many times waze navigates to exact location without taking into account faster route to near by location. I personally would rather walk an additional 100 meters to avoid sitting in traffic. This is especially warranted when using a taxi who relies on waze and additional cost is influenced by route. This feature can be an added route option without interfering with the basic platform most users prefer.

    Thank you for your suggestion!
    Waze can currently direct your partial walking route when it’s a part of a drive or carpool.
    We are currently not planning on adding walking mode for complete routes.

  14. (Re)-Add a Flemish Voice

    Apparently Google has removed Ellen (Flemish) voice because she was previously provided through Nuance. Google currently doesn't own/have a Flemish voice. Since Waze is owned by google this means we currently don't have a Flemish voice. So I ask if you guys could please ask for our flemish voice back. She is really missed :( FLEMISH ≠ DUTCH

  16. Why is your system so inferior to Google Maps? We did a side-by-side, and Google consistently was 30 seconds faster in giving direction??

    Why is your system so much slower than Google (on a side-by-side basis)? Why does Google consistently suggest routes that, while maybe not quite as fast as your fastest routes all the time, are far faster than your #2 and #3 route, and which update much more frequently? Have you really looked at how competitive your product is versus them???

  17. use HN waze interpolation instead of google

    We have several huge streets that make it difficult to place the house numbers, so I prefer to use interpolation by placing the house numbers in some meter intervals, but this change is usually not reflected because Waze prioritizes Google's interpolation over Waze's own data.

    My suggestion is: Use Waze's interpolation when: The number is not mapped (there is no linked residential location and no house number) and there is a number greater than and less than the number searched for entered by an editor (not the automatic imported one)

    Por favor, criem no Android Auto um botão bem no alto à direita para que possamos escolher dirigir para qualquer compromisso da agenda Google, independente de qual data ele ocorra no futuro e até no passado imediato, por exemplo de uma semana para trás. Está fazendo muita falta esse recurso.
