   I think I have hit the limit in saving space for Waze location maps. I like to introduce custom folders for saving locations by country > state > district > areas.

2. Saved places folders

   It would be nice if individual saved places could be saved in separate folders. Possible one for family, shopping, vacation, activities, etc. It would make it faster and easier to find a place without scrolling through my entire saved list.

4. moving waze folder inside Android/data

   Can you move the waze folder from memory's root to a folder like Android/data/com.waze)

   The reason is to keep clean the memory's root to makes easier for user to find important folders like DCIM, Downloads, Music and such on a glimpse. Also, folders in this form are deleted automatically upon app uninstallation, making it cleaner and may make it compatible with app2sd.

5. Folder for voices

   When you download a voice, it goes to a folder (or even a 2nd app that is a storage/management for voices.) The option to keep voices should happen. I need Gronk back!

   There is nothing worse than finding a voice with a tone that isn't obnoxious. When you do, it is gone a week later. Not to mention, when the new featured voices are also annoying people that you don't want talking to you. (I don't want Jay Leno in my car.)

   HEllo Whenever I prepare my holidays, I always save some POI for all location to visit + plan my routes.
   I would like to be able to define /manage these POI and routes from the Waze web interface .
   On the POI topic, if they could be sorted and filed in folders , that would be amazing.

   Thank you for your suggestion! As you may already know, a live map is available as a web version, which you can use to see real time traffic reports. Search for Waze live map.

7. Waze profile integration with website

   Ability to sync browser with app - so you can manage icons, favorites, plan trips/multi leg routes before getting into the car. Much easier to plan with multiple browser windows open looking up destinations, locations.

   Also, favorites folders/categorization so a road trip can be planned with one-time destinations that can be managed/deleted after the road trip has been completed.

   1. Why not let Waze search address from my contact list?
   2. Why not create folder in favorite? Like Friend, Company, Restaurant, etc.

9. multiple workplaces

   I work at two locations throughout the week. Previous to this job I enjoyed that my work was always easily accessible at the top of the suggestions list. Now that i work at two locations, i wish i still had this option. I currently have them both saved under my favorites, but this requires me to click into the favorites folder, meaning i have to navigate multiple screens rather than having my destination pinned at the top. This simple change would be a major QOL upgrade for any Wazer with multiple workplaces.

    Be great to have a save option with a folder to save directions and routes with editing, sometimes the same route might need to be taken without motorways, when the same route might need them.

11. App Improvement

    May I suggest to Waze that they:
    1) allow people to submit photos of the area in app. Photo submission would clear up problems of trying to write out what you can clearly see as a problem.
    2) make it easier for people to know what to click to report errors (I had a hard time finding the report issue one. The first few times, I marked the road as closed but then it would reappear until I finally found this reporting issue)
    3) expand the days to resolve an issue with Waze from 8 to perhaps 14 days to relay and convey info regarding an issue
    4) if the days aren’t expanded then alternatively, make a note that says “you only have 8 days to respond.” It can even be auto-reply for when you submit an issue. Waze can auto-send the reporter an emailed copy of their complaint and it will say “8 days to respond or matter will be deemed fixed and closed”... that kind of thing. Then add that response to every communication so that the person knows how much time they have left.
    5) I didn’t even know Waze had an inbox until you sent me a message. So that was weird to find within the app. Maybe just have a mail folder 📧 that has a red number 3️⃣ indicating unread important message from Waze.
    6) It if wayyy too hard to leave Waze feedback for the app. There is no link in the app to submit feedback. The Waze person helping me edit the map issue that I found actually send me the support link (which still wasn’t the right link) but it got me closer to the right place than the app.

    May I suggest to Waze that they:

12. favorites system & usability

    The favorites system in this app feels extremely limited and unintuitive, making saving and using favorites unnecessarily difficult.

    Instead of a proper favorites list, the app relies on a single horizontal bar that requires swiping left and right. This design does not scale: once more than a few locations are saved, finding anything becomes a guessing game.

    Fixed locations (Home and Work)

    Several locations such as Home and Work are fixed and cannot be customized:
    - Names cannot be renamed
    - Icons are oversized
    - Labels are too long and take up excessive space
    - Entries cannot be deleted or reordered

    This is especially problematic for students who do not have a fixed Work location. I know where my university is and do not need a permanent work shortcut, yet I am forced to keep it. At the same time, I cannot add the locations I actually need in a clean, usable way.

    Real-world use cases

    • I have two homes that I regularly navigate to
    • I need quick access to family addresses
    • My university has multiple buildings in different cities

    With the current system, saving 15–20 addresses makes the favorites bar completely unusable. There is no overview, no structure, and no meaningful way to organize anything.

    Expected improvements

    • A real favorites list, not just a swipeable bar
    • A customizable top bar with only the most important favorites
    • Full control to rename, reorder, or remove all favorites (including Home and Work)
    • Optional folders (Family, Friends, University, Other)
    • No forced integration with contacts or calendar

    Other navigation apps handle favorites far better. This app’s approach feels outdated and restrictive. Everything else works well, but the favorites system actively discourages saving locations and makes daily navigation harder than necessary. (an example of an app that has really intuitive ui is "here we go"). I just overall preferred waze, but this is like something that makes it almost unusable to me
