Why can't I get the route I want? I want to go from L.A. to San Francisco via route 101. Why Can't I get that on Waze?
I want to take route 101 to San Francisco from L.A. Why can't I do it? It is not a choice of route and I can't adjust the route. Also, why does it keep sending me thorough TOLL roads? I don't want to go through tolls.

Grand parkway 99
Add the Grand Parkway 99 in Harris county Tx. I switched to google maps until you add - doesn’t make sense not to as all toll roads in Tx are options.

route overview
Please add an option to see either a birds-eye overview or a turn-by-turn list (or both?) of the route Waze is taking me on.
Sometimes I know I want to avoid a particular road. So when Waze plots a route for me at the start, I can review the proposed alternate routes and choose one. But if I need to deviate from that route to make a side errand maybe, Waze will recalculate my route on the fly, going back to its #1 preferred route. Single Lane with/without passing places
In the UK, we have a large number of narrow two way roads which are often only the width of a single vehicle. You can often meet oncoming traffic head-on with no easy way of passing unless one driver decides to reverse. Either that, or at best, you both end up with scratched paintwork.
Waze has no way of knowing which roads are narrow, so will often route along this type of road. Many of us would prefer to take a longer route to avoid this type of road.

Android Auto
Bisher gute Umsetzung,
Leider fehlt mir nach der Verbindung mit Android Auto viele Funktionen (nur ein Beispiel, Anzeige Geschwindigkeit / erlaubte Geschwindigkeit)
Eine Fahrspurassistent wäre auch sehr gut.aber was mich besonders nervt das er nach Trennung von Android Auto weiterhin navigieren möchte obwohl bereits am Ziel angekommen, toll wäre es wenn man von Android Auto trennt das auch waze beendet wird!
Integration von Google Verkehrsdaten !
Macht weiter so!

Reminder about roll transponders
We share an EZ pass between two cars, and sometimes have forgotten to switch it to the car we will drive on a route that has tolls. When we input a destination that requires tolls, how about if Waze were to ask “Do you gave your toll transponder with you?” It would be awesome. I bet this feature would be helpful to many people. Thank you.

Waze Rider - No option to split tolls?
Was doing a research project on Waze Rider. For starters see a few evident loopholes, which could use some improvements.
- Why are the Tolls not being divided between the Rider and the Driver?
- that leads to my other observation, in the NYC metro area crossing from NJ-NYC is predominantly via the downtown Holland and Midtown Lincoln tunnels and uptown GW bridge. Tolls for riders in a car are $16; this significantly drops if you have 3 or more passengers. Location based fare calculation would be more beneficial.2 votesThanks for your feedback. As above, please add Mallisham Pkwy ( a toll road) as an alternative to reach hwy 82 from I20 west of Tuscaloosa.

Option to Disable Auto-Rerouting After Route Is Set

I’d like to suggest a feature that allows users to disable automatic rerouting after setting a route.
As a driver, it’s not always possible (or safe) to constantly check the device to notice when Waze changes the route and tap “No thanks” in time to stay on the original path.There are countries where you must follow a specific route due to legal or financial reasons — for example, vignette zones, road restrictions, or toll obligations. Show Number of Tolls on Route (Dubai - Salik)
As a daily Waze user in Dubai, UAE, I’d like to suggest a highly practical feature for local drivers:
Please show the total number of Salik tolls, estimated toll cost, and approximate fuel cost before starting navigation.
Right now, Waze only warns that “this route has tolls,” but doesn’t show how many or how much they’ll cost. In Dubai, every Salik gate costs AED 4, and it would really help to display something like:🛣️ This route has 3 Salik tolls (AED 12 total)

To avoid road construction
You should add so that you can do the same to avoid road construction as with avoiding toll roads! That is, choose another alternative route if road construction is on the proposed route. A completely different thing is that you should add a warning for all "fixed" road bumps so you don't get hit by a car!

Allow Preference for Open Road Tolling (no more "Exit Cash Lanes" directions)
I'm getting very tired of being told to "Exit to Cash Lanes" only to be navigated right back onto the same tollway. Best I can figure, Waze is trying to avoid you getting a ticket for driving through open road tolling areas (at least here in northern Illinois on I-294) by telling you to exit to cash lanes, but there should be an option to tell Waze you have a transponder and are good to go for open road tolling (and the app will stop telling you to exit at every open road tolling area).

"We have a shorter way" - Option available "Okay"
I intentionally choose NO TOLLS when I travel. It is less expensive and usually a more scenic route. I have been having trouble that the We have a shorter way pops up and I don't want to choose Okay because I already have the route I want so I ignore thinking that must default to keep as I'm going.

Vielerorts gibt es Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen nach Uhrzeit (z.B. vor Schulen oder zum Lärmschutz) diese werden nicht nach aktueller Uhrzeit angezeigt. Selbiges gilt für wetterabhängige Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen (Regen oder Nebel) hier wäre eine Kopplung mit einem lokalen Wetterdienst toll

Routes on Android Auto
Would like the ability to choose from the slowest to fastest or toll free routes when connected to Android Auto. This is only possible on the phone when it is not connected to the car system.

Toggle navigation options in route
When already in navigation, and pulling up to see the route options... You should be able to toggle the navigation options, say, in a secondary section below the different routes available.
Examples:
- avoid freeways
- avoid ferries
- avoid toll roads
- etcThat way, you don’t have to go into Th e overall settings of the entire app. The setting stay as default, but the options you toggle are for that specific navigation in progress.

Stop changing routes automatically while I'm driving!
Waze needs to stop AUTOMATICALLY changing my route on me. It's frustrating especially when I chose the non-toll route on the way back. Then I look at the app and it's showing the route I did NOT choose!!

Maximum tolls want to pass or maximum tolls fees want to use.
Please let us got more choice on the routes.
Example in Malaysia, Melaka to Selangor have two type of routes ,One is tolls to tolls, others is No tolls routes.
If choose no tolls routes then the whole routes will no pass any tolls but otw that should have a tolls that maybe Rm0.65 and Rm2.1 can cut short the routes. Which mean that have pass a tolls but the cost is less and save times.
