Alerts on upcoming waysides (rest stops)
Ie.
Alert … wayside (rest stop) in 2 miles. Rest rooms, vending machines, dog exercise area. Next wayside in 60 miles (50 minutes) can you hold it that long?4 votes -
Reporting hazards with Siri using Apple CarPlay and Waze
Waze has possibility to use Siri shortcuts to navigate home, work or other destinations, as well as setting level of notifications. Please add possibility to report hazards like police, stopped vehicle on the road, road works, traffic etc. Using Siri, this would increase safety dramatically as a driver would not need to touch the screen for that multiple times.

Add Highway Vignette expiration support
In Hungary (and in most of the nearby countries) Highway vignettes can have multiple expiration days: 1 year, 10 days, 1 month, etc. It would be great, if Waze would know/track, if a certain vignette is expired and avoid routing on the highways ( or ask if I've purchased a new one)

Show Stop lights
Make viewing intersections with stop lights and option (show the stop light on the navigation). This is something Apple Maps has and it helps people anticipate turns and make less mistakes.

set an area where you no longer need directions home
set an area or certain roads that you know so when you set waze to take you home, navigation stops at those points because you know where you are

Add option to stop scanning of reports when not moving.
Please add a possibility to stop scanning of reports when not moving. It can be annoying sometimes. I just want to observe surround streets while standing. And it also consumes additional traffic. Thank you.

Please provide an option to turn off the "car stopped on shoulder" warning.
This is the most common warning yet doing nothing more than distracting. People stop on shoulders for few minutes all the time so why do I need to care unless I am planning to drive on the shoulder?? Turning off road hazards does not help.

Would be awesome to be able to enter stops for the day with a starting point and ending point and have Waze route you the most efficient way would eliminate alot of backtracking.

Dim the Screen to Stop Screen Burn In
Waze is great but it loves to burn images of the buttons into my phone screen. A dimming option when not in use would save battery and stop this burning problem.

The Report button was designed to be noticed while blending in and it’s important to keep it as is.
However, we will revisit this idea when working on Dark mode, in the future. Furthermore, since this is a physical issue that OLED phones suffer from in different apps, we recommend to use Battery Saver mode to allow your display some rest from bright colors that might lead to this dysfunction.

Have client present auto-off if removed from charging
I sometimes make frequent stops during a trip, and it is an annoyance to have to start and stop the client so that it doesn't give false heavy traffic reports. If I am in the car, I always have the phone on a charger. if the client senses that the phone is no longer charging, have a pop-up box ask if the application should be turned off.

Toll roads
If user could use settings to set something like "use toll roads if it shortens the time on the road for at least XX minutes" or "use toll road if fuel economy if more then $XX". Waze gives us multiple routs from A to B, sometimes it is better to use toll road, sometimes it cuts only about 5-6 minutes from the trip (or less) - still not the reason to use toll road, too expensive for this outcome. But sometimes toll road is way better, so we don't want to forbid waze to suggest us toll-roads. I think you…

Alert for fixed parking enforcement cameras when stopping
Please add an alert when a vehicle slows down and stops within a defined enforcement zone monitored by fixed parking cameras.
This would help drivers avoid unintentional parking violations, especially in areas with unclear signage or new residents/visitors.
Suggested options:
• Toggle on/off in alerts settings
• Alert only below X km/h and when vehicle remains stationary for Y seconds

Stop closing the app when I make a pit stop!
Why does this app close every time I stop for 5 minutes? I just drove from Delaware to Illinois yesterday. I stopped for gas three times and food twice. Waze closed every single time! They where all quick stops and my car was even running the entire time. This is an extremely annoying feature of this app. I usually don't even bother using Waze for day to day travel due to this very issue.

Make turnings and exits more clear (Using arrows or different color)
I have missed an exit or taken the wrong exit multiple times with this app. I do not have this problem with google maps. It would be helpful if turnings could be made more prominent, using different colors or an arrow shown on the actual map.

EASY Options, while driving
2-Stop at specific locations; accessible by drop-down menu…examples include common stops such as:
GAS,
FOOD -(different styles, such as fast food or restaurant, Delhi => drive-through, or sit-in
BANK

Adding Traffic signals to the map or giving the option to avoid signals or not
Will there ever be an update that gives you the option to avoid traffic signals or not or possibly show traffic signals on the map? Many times in order to save time. It routes me to a block with no traffic signal at forces me to make a left onto a busy intersection, which sometimes is very dangerous. I’d much rather wait at a traffic light which I end up having to do anyway, in order to make the left when the traffic stops.

Problem: many road bifurcations, or multiple ramification roads specially in obtuse angle + between primary and secondary non clear small roads bring about navigation mistakes.solution: upon getting near the critical point of deviation Please make an automatic zoom ( 80M radius) to the relevant area and also insert blinking / intermittent dots to all existing ramification points ( green Dot for the correct lane to follow and black dots for all non relevant existing deviation roads. this way the driver visualize the correct direction in the roads matrix.

Please stop routing onto bike routes
I live in an area of the country with a lot of bike routes. Those routes are established on the assumption that they are low in auto traffic, or least generally local-only traffic. That seems to prompt Waze to guide me onto them fairly frequently during heavy traffic times, but in doing so this violates that basic assumption of keeping them low traffic.
As someone who bikes and drives regularly, I'd rather not see those routes grow in auto traffic as Waze adoption increases. If possible, please stop routing auto traffic onto those routes so that they can remain safe…
